Recap – First day at Sanjeevani. Rivalry between Armaan and Riddhima waxed. The truth spilled out by Muskaan .Now its Armaan's turn.
Chapter 4 – The Unseen Truth !
Scene 1 – Cafeteria: .
Muskaan – Tu New-York main rehta tha na?
Armaan – Haan
Muskaan – To wahan koi firangi girlfriend bhi hogi?
Armaan – Ha……I mean…..Nahi
Muskaan – Oye! Jhooth mat bol
Armaan – Kya? Sach hi toh bol raha hoon.
Muskaan – Acha! To tere wallet main wo kiski photo hai?
Armaan – Tumne mera wallet dekha?
Muskaan – Matlab photo hai! Chal wallet nikal.
Armaan – Nahi
Muskaan – To wo ladki ka naam bol.
Armaan – (Pissed off) Kaunsi ladki?
Muskaan – Jiska photo teri wallet main hai!
Armaan – (Started laughing) Woh ladki?
Muskaan – Haan (imitating him) Woh Ladki!
Armaan – (looking at Riddhima) Bata doon?
Riddhima – Mujhe kyun dekh rahe ho?
Armaan quietly looked down and pulled out his wallet
Armaan – (Showing the Photograph to everyone) Yeh lo!
It was an adorable picture of a small baby in the arms of the Proud Mother.
Rahul – (pointing towards the baby) Yeh tum ho?
Armaan Nodded
Anjali – How Sweet!
Atul – To Muskaan tujhe kaise pata ki iske wallet main photo thi.?
Muskaan – Maine aaj isko apna wallet Kiss karte hue dekha tha to mujhe laga ki……..Sorry Yaar!

Muskaan – Tumhe Raj aur Simran nahi pata?
Armaan – Nahi to!
Muskaan – DDLJ. Dilwaale dulhaniya Le jayenge .Yaar kya movie thi woh! Maine wo movie 15 bar dekhi hai!
Armaan – Whatever! Anjie tum answer do
Anjali – Maybe! Par un dono couples ko kaafi problems face karni padi thi. Par mujhe itni problems face nahi karni.
Rahul – Ab pyaar kiya hai to Problems to face karni hi padegi na!

Riddhima – Main poochungi...Aur Ar-Kong answer dega!
Atul – Kaun Ar-Kong?
Riddhima – (Pointing at Armaan) Yeh!
Armaan faked a Smile.
Riddhima – Tum mujhe batao ki aisa kaunsa question hoga jise answer karne main tumhe problem hogi..?
Armaan – Err…Well…….Umm…..
Riddhima – Bol na!
Armaan – (in one breath) something about my past
Riddhima – Cool! So tell me about your past. From top to bottom.
Armaan sat there speechless .He was fighting with his thoughts.
Everyone was looking at him expecting an answer.
Armaan – Well, (wiping the sweat from his forehead) I was born in New-York, I attended my school there and….
(Suddenly his mobile phone rang; he heaved a sigh of relief)
He was just an inch away from facing Inferno.
He picked up the phone, Talked for several minutes
Armaan – (making an excuse) Sorry guys gotta go! Maybe next time!
And dashed out of the Caf
Scene 2 – Parking Lot .
Armaan was standing there with the support of his car.
Armaan – (to himself) Aaj to bal-bal bach gaye. Nahi to marr hi jaata.
(He closed his eyes, resting his head on the roof of the car)
The sisters came out of Sanjeevani, giggling.
Anjali – (Pointing towards Armaan) Wo Armaan hai na?
Riddhima – Hoga na! Aap chalo abhi late ho raha hai
Anjali – Ruk na, woh dekh yeh aise kyun khada hai?
Riddhima – Aree wo toh hai hi ajeeb….aap chalo...
Anjali – Tum mere saath chalo (dragging Riddhima to the spot where Armaan was standing)
Anjali – (Gently pushing Armaan) Armaan!
Armaan opened his eyes and saw two questioning eyes staring at him.
Anjali – You Ok?
Armaan – (Nodding) Yeah!
Anjali – Sure?
Armaan – Haan
Anjali – Ok then, Bye
Armaan – (smiling) Bye.
She left.
Armaan – (to himself, giving a million dollar smile) Nice girl!
But while going Riddhima took out her Car key and dragged it along his car which left some scratches behind. Armaan went to the scratches touched them with his caring hands and suddenly turned them into fists. He felt as if someone had pierced a pin in his heart.
Armaan – You'll pay for that Ridzilla!
Riddhima – (turning her head) Oh! I'm scared.
Armaan – (with a glint of revenge on his eyes) you better be!
She went away mumbling something bad about Armaan.
Armaan – (Sitting in his car) Pata nahi kahan phas gaya!
Scene 3 – Mallik Residence .
He entered the house mumbling something. He didn't notice the person standing in front of him and he accidently bumped into the person.
Armaan – Sorry! (And looked at the person)
His frown turned into a Smile, a big, wide, cheerful smile.
Armaan – (Hugging the well built body) I knew aap jaroor aaoge!
But the person pushed Armaan back and wore an expression of disgust.
Armaan – Kya hua Dad?
Man – I'm not your dad.
Armaan – Matlab?
Just then Aditya arrived and saw the two men talking.
Aditya – (Dragging Armaan away) Lesley, Chalo.
Armaan – (Like a small kid) Ruko! Dad mujhe kuch bata rahe hain.
Aditya – Armaan maine kahan na chalo.
Armaan – Ruko na! (Turning towards the ldy who was hiding behind the man) Mom! Aap kaise ho? (And proceeded to hug her)
But he was stopped in between by the strong arms of the man.
Aditya – Armaan, Room main jaao….
Armaan – Ruko na bhai! Itne dino baad Mom-Dad se mil rahe hain…
Man – Shut-Up! Hume Mom-Dad mat bulao
Armaan – Yeh aap kya bol rahe hain?
Aditya – Lesley, in your room now
Armaan – Aree! Aap ruko na…Mom aap bataiye yeh dad kya bol rahe hain?
Lady – (In a watery Voice) Beta who… (She could not speak further and started crying heavily….)
Armaan – (Scared) Mom! Is everything fine?
The lady could not control herself anymore and hugged Armaan. He too hugged her back…
Armaan – (Softly) Mom, aap mujhe batao yeh sab kya ho raha hai?
Before she could speak the man parted them and started to leave holding the lady's arm. But Armaan too held her hand…
Aditya – (Trying to Pull Armaan) Armaan, Room main chalo
Armaan – Aapki problem kya hai? Main tab tak nahi jaunga jab tak mujhe sab kuch pata nahi chalta.
Aditya – (Finally losing his temper and yelling at Armaan like a Hungry Monster) Armaan! I said go to your room…. (And he pushed him so hard that Armaan fell over the table)
Armaan got up really Angry, went straight to his room and closed the door with a Bang!
Scene 4 – Gupta Residence :.
The family was seated at the dining table. Chatting and discussing their day.
Padma – So, aaj tum dono ka pehla din kaisa tha?
Anjali – Wonderful!
Riddhima – Horrendous!
Padma – Kyun kya hua?
Anjali – Kuch nahi! Isko Armaan ke saath duty assign ki gayi thi isliye gusse main hai.
Nani – Kaun Armaan?
Anjali – Naya Intern hai.
Shashank – Oh! Dr. Armaan Mallik? Woh to kaafi intelligent hai. Unhone apna medical college top kiya tha. Interview main bhi woh kaafi achi tarah se baat kar rahe the like a Professional. He's more experienced than you all…
Riddhima – Dad Aap Bhi!?!?!?!
Shashank – Main bhi kya? Aakhir sach to sach hi hai na. Unhone apna graduation New-York ke best medical college se kiya hai.
Riddhima – Dad please! Aap toh uski side mat lo.
Shashank – Acha, nahi leta.
Riddhima – That's better! Now repeat after me – He's an Idiot.
Shashank – He's an……. Riddhima ….. Pehli baar main itna sab kuch tay karna theek nahi hota. Yaad hai tumhri ma mere bare main kya sochti thi?
Anjali and Riddhima wore expressions that said "Not Again!".
And they had to sit there and listen to their Father's Story.
Scene 5 – Mallik Residence :
After everything cooled down a bit. Aditya, after returning from Armaan's door for the 217th time, finally gathered some courage and knocked the door .But to his surprise the door was open. He entered the room and saw his baby, his life sweetly sleeping on the bed in an awkward position. [According to Armaan the best way to relax his mind was SLEEP. So he often used to sleep whenever he was tensed.]
Aditya caressed Armaan's hai, due to which Armaan woke up. But on seeing Aditya in front of him he turned.
Aditya – (softly) Lesley!
No Answer
Aditya – Lesley, I'm Sorry
Armaan still didn't turn.
Aditya – To tum nahi manoge?
Still no answer
Aditya – Iska Matlab tum khana bhi nahi khaoge! Cool, phir mujhe akele hi wo Momo's aur Enchiladas Khane padenge jo maine humre liye banaye the.
Armaan couldn't resist himself, he just loved Enchiladas .But then he remembered how his brother yelled at him.
Aditya – Theek hai! Main jaa raha hoon (and started to leave) Wo yum Enchiladas khane…….Mmmm…….Khushboo to yahan tak aa rahi hai!
Armaan finally accepted his defeat and went straight to the dining table.
Aditya smiled at his innocence
They sat at the dining table, had dinner but Armaan didn't utter a word.
Aditya – Armaan, I'm sorry. Mujhe tumpe chillana nahi chahiye tha….
Armaan looked up at his brother's guilty face but then again looked down and got busy with his food.
Aditya – Armaan, aaj jo bhi hu use bhool jaao. Acha tell me how was your first day at Sanjeevani?
Armaan – Ya Right!
Aditya – Huh? I asked how your first day was.
Armaan – Oh! First day …..Mujhe laga worst day ! It was truly the worst day ever.
Aditya – Kyun?
Armaan – Pehle apne mera room saaf kard iya. Phir Dr.Mehra ke gender ki wajah se impression bura pad gaya phir mujhe wo Ridzilla ke saath duty karni padi aur finally us monster Ridzilla ne meri Baby par scratches laga diye.
(He didn't mention the truth game)
Aditya – Aww My poor baby. Waise yeh Ridzilla naam thoda ajeeb nahi hai?
Armaan – Uska naam Riddhima hai……Dr. Riddhima akdu, Style maaru Shashank Gupta.
Aditya – Riddhima! That's a sweet name.
[Armaan looked angrily at Aditya]
Aditya – Mera Matlab hai ki kisko itna ajeeb naam pasand aayega…
Armaan – (Smiling) Ab bhi mere gusse se darrte ho?
Aditya – Kaun nahi darega?
Armaan – Adz, dekho…
Aditya – Phir mujhe Adz bulaya?!?!
Armaan – Kya karu who Demi aapko itne pyaar Adz jo bulati thi!
Aditya – (warningly) Lesley!
Armaan – Ok, ab se nahi bulaunga! Par aap please mujhe batao ki aaj yeh sab kya ho raha tha? Mom-Dad itna odd kyun behave kar rahe the?
Aditya – Armaan, maine kahan na yeh sab bhool jao!
Armaan – Par….
Aditya – Promise me ki iske baad kabhi yeh bat nahi karoge!
Armaan – Another Promise!?! Aw man!
Aditya – Yeah!
Armaan – So promise no. 105 – aaj jo bhi hua wo sab bhool jaao aur phir kabhi yeh topic mat nikalna.
Aditya – (Patting his head) Good Boy!
After sometime Armaan was sitting on the couch, waiting for something.
Aditya – Kya hua? Chalo sone jaao…
Armaan – Ruko! Frank aur Joe ka phone aane waala hai.
(And the phone rang)
Armaan – (excited) Aa Gaya!
Armaan – (Picking up the phone) Yo Man!
But instead of a "Yo" he was replied by "Excuse me"
Armaan – Gabbi, Is it you?
Gabriella – Lesley! Guys, its Lesley on the phone.
Frank and Joe – We Know!
Gabriella – Aw Thank you! So Lesley What's Up?
Armaan – Bah! Nothing great. Just missing you a hell lot!
Gabriella – We Miss You too!
Frank – Gabbi, stop crying.
Armaan – (Amused) Gabriella Hudgens…..You are crying??
Gabriella - (In a Watery voice) No
Joe – Yeah! We can see that here….. Het Gabbi you're wetting my Phone.
Gabriella – Stop it Joe! So Armaan Mallik, How was the first day?
Armaan – Hey! You finally learned it…..Not bad! And the first day, It would be better if we keep it aside.
Gabriella – Why?Why?Why?
Armaan – You tell me , how is everything..?
Gabriella – Demi is missing Adz…!!!
Armaan – OOOOoooooOOOOOO!!!
The phone was on speaker and on hearing this Aditya went all red….
Joe – Guess what!
Armaan – What?
Joe – We're performing at the college reunion ….!!!
Armaan – Oh SHUT UP!!!
Joe – But I don't think we'll perform
Armaan – Why?Why?Why?
Frank – (Very Obviously) Duh! No Lesley=No songs, No songs=No Performance.
Armaan – Hey guys! You can't do this. If you want new songs I'll mail them to you.
Gabriella – No ways! Have you ever heard these guys singing?
Frank and Joe – We're not that bad!
Gabriella – Yes you are!
Armaan – Find a replacement for me….Simple!
Gabriella – Stop It Mr. Armaan Mallik!
Joe – There she goes again! Gabbi stop it you're wetting my phone…
Frank – Armaan I think Gabbi is right… You were the "Zing" of the band.
Armaan – (In A watery voice) I Love You!
Three of them – We Love you too!
Armaan – Ok Gotta go now!
Joe – Good Night!
Frank – Sleep Tight!
Gabriella – Sweet Dreams!
