The first time I saw him was about a year ago. Ever since then my heart throbbed for him. I see him stealing glances at me occasionally. The looks in his eyes are indescribable. It provisions all sorts of emotions and feelings. It articulates everything hidden beneath him.
'I don't get it' his face looks vacant, how can you tell he's hiding something," claims my best friend Muskaan.
"I don't know how I can tell Muskaan, but his face is like an open book to me," I said looking back at him.
"Did you ever talk to him?" Asked Muskaan.
"Well I tried, but what's the use my apprehension always overpowers my strength, so I end up as a coward" Ridhima said in a disappointed tone.
"If you don't go up to him and tell him your feelings, some one else might" Muskaan said in a serious tone.
"Feelings? What kind of feelings?"
"Oh! Come on, don't tell me you haven't realized your symptoms yet'"
"Muskaan! I don't have a disease okay' so how can I have symptoms."
"Ridhz' This isn't any kind of disease' it flows around the whole world' some may even say it's contagious'. So stay away from me'" Muskaan says slightly shifting away.
"Muskaan, why can't you be straightforward and tell me what's wrong with me'" Ridhima said in frustration.
"Oh God what am I supposed to do with this girl' okay Ridhz are you attracted to him?"
"Ye' ummm' he is good looking' I guess'.but what does that have to do with anything'" Ridhima said ambiguity.
"Okay next step, close your eyes, and inhale the atmosphere"
Ridhima did as Muskaan said, and the atmosphere smelled sweet.
"Oh my God Muskaan, the world smells so good' like some strong cologne" Muskaan looked at her sheepishly.
"Does Armaan smell like this'" She asked super fast.
"Yeah it's exactly like his smell" Ridhima said smiling, but frowned as soon as she realized what she said' "I' I mean.. I'"
"Just leave it Ridhz; I think I got what you meant' Okay so now close your eyes"
"Muskaan, I'm getting really jaded doing these little exercises of yours."
"Ridhz, it's not like there even intricate, so just do as I say'"
Ridhima closed her eyes with out a dissent. As she sis an image appeared inside her head. She opened her eyes with a tweak as she gasped.
Muskaan smiled at her behavior and knew exactly what she saw. She walked away happily, as Ridhima looked at her perplexed.
"Rahul now it's your turn' you know what to do" Muskaan asked Rahul, as he nodded towards Armaan.
Rahul saw that Armaan was lost in his own world. He looked towards the direction of which Armaan was staring at, and grinned as he saw.
"Armaan can I asked you a question" Armaan jerked hearing Rahul, and grimaced as he just woke him up from a great daydream.
"No, you can't" Armaan said sarcastically'
"But I still will' So buddy, do you believe in Love" Rahul noticed a facial change on Armaan. He went from annoyed to serious.
"Love' there is no such thing as love in this world, it's all just an infatuation"
"I'm surprised that you're saying this' After the way you're looking at Ridhima'" Armaan broke out of his trance, utterly surprised at Rahul.
"Ridhima' Where did she come from? And how am I looking at her?"
"Why cant you think about her' She's hot dude" Rahul said winking at Armaan.
"Hey' stop calling her hot' only I can'" he stopped realizing what he has just said.
"Okay now close your eyes, and take a deep breath" Armaan looked at him weirdly, but did as Rahul said. He smiled once he smelled the fresh smell of jasmines, and an image appeared inside his head. He opened his eyes rapidly, and saw a stupid grin on Rahul's face.
"What are you smiling about?"
"Did you see what I think you saw?"
"And what do you think I saw?"
"Armaan if I say it, I know you'll deny the fact'but just remember one thing, you dream about the thing you love, and the thing you hate' So the image you just saw, either you love or hate' Now it's up to you to make up your mind" Rahul said walking away.
"Ridhima go to him and talk now'" Muskaan said pushing Ridhima
"No Muskaan, I don't even know if he likes me like that" Ridhima said shrugging Muskaan's hands away.
"Fine if you don't go I will, and you listen.." Muskaan marched up to Armaan.
"Armaan, can I ask you a question?" Armaan nodded.
"Do you think Ridhima is PRETTY?" Armaan was shocked by her question, but he nodded, "NO!"
"Okay, well do you WANT to be with her forever?" he nodded once again, "NO!"
"Fine, but would you CRY if she walked away?" he nodded a no again. "NO!"
Ridhima had finally heard enough, she was about to leave, when suddenly she felt someone grip her arm. He pulled her closer towards him.
"I don't think your PRETTY, but I think you're BEAUTIFUL' I don't WANT to be with you forever, but I NEED to be with you forever' and I wouldn't CRY if you walked away, but I would DIE!" he said.
Ridhima was smiling through her tears, as he held her hands in his, and kissed them softly. "I love you Ridhima" he said. She smiled back at him, "I love you too!" as the two lovers engulfed each other in a beautiful hug.
A girl asked a boy if she was pretty' his response was a no.
She asked him if he wanted to be with her forever' he said no again.
She asked him if he would cry if she walked away' he again replied no.
She heard enough and was walked away, when his voice stopped her.
I don't think your pretty, I think you're beautiful.
I don't want to be with you forever, I need to be with you forever,
I wont cry if you leave, I would die.
