PART 2

Diya's POV

I stepped out of my red Ferrari to see some boys staring openmouthed at my car and then their eyes fell on me and they look even more astounded.
But then this was expected.I topped my car anyday.

Smiling slightly I strode towards the elevator.I was here for a meeting with PartyCaterers and Co.This was the first time I had dressed for an official meeting.I hoped my short denim skirt and the simple yet elegant white top was alright for this meeting.If it wasnt ...well it meant that like it boss Sujoy Bose the staff also had weird taste.

The elevator door opened at second floor and I barely looked up.I was admiring my new manicured red nails.

""Princess....""said a voice.My eyes flew to stare at the face of RV.
He was dressed in a black shirt with matching black jacket and a faded pair of jeans.

I raised my eyebrows at him.
""Do you live here practically?I mean you are here almost everyday..""

He smiled and moved closer much to my annoyance.I backed away.
He stopped a few inches away from me.
""I come here in the hope of seeing you Princess..."he said in a mocking voice.

I gulped.His smirk increased.
""Guess you liked hearing that..""he said laughing under his breath.

I almost stamped my foot.
""No I dont think any girl likes to hear that she is being stalked.""I emphasied the last word.

He looked shocked.
""Stalked?""
I nodded vigorously.
""I never gave you my home address or my telephone number...but still you managed to...""

He smiled again.
""There are always ways to find out...""

I narrowed my eyes.He laughed at my expression.
""And for something as beautiful as you I wouldnt mind being called a stalker.""

The elevator stopped with a ring.I sighed with relief.I was hating the proximity at which we were standing and for some reason RV made me nervous.
I stepped out at the 25th floor.He louged back leaning at the back wall.

""You didnt show up at the last date I asked for.Remember this princess I dont like waiting..not even for you...""

I rolled my eyes hurrying my way to Sujoy's cabin.Honestly RV made me nervous.But on second thoughts he wasnt bad looking either..to be honest he was kinda hot...

I shook my head.What was I thinking?I should be thinking of Samrat only...On an impulse I picked up my phone and dialled his number.He picked up on the second ring.

""Candy...!!""he sounded jubilant.

I smiled.
""Sammy its been tooo long.I havent heard your voice for so long..""

He laughed easily.The smile in my face got bigger.
""I know!I have been busy...I missed you though and I have been meaning to talk to you.You must know Candy...I must tell you...""

I could sense his enthuism even over the phone.
"Sammy tell me what is happening?""

Just then the woman Sujoy called a secretary came to stand infront of me.
""Ms.Sharma everyone is waiting for you at the meeting hall.The meeting is about to start.""

I threw her a look.
""Just ask them to wait then..""
She stared at me.
""Ms.Sharma...""she began,

""Oh..just shut up.""I told her.""Go on Sammy what happened?""

He laughed for a while.
""Say you wont laugh...""
"Is it likely I would laugh?""I asked.

""Well Benji does...""
The secretary looked affronted before stalking off.I hardly paid her any attention.
""Benji knows about it and I dont..Samrat Mehra I demand you tell me right now what is going on?""

He drew a breath in.
""Candy I was just about to call you.I know you will be really surprised to hear this one but....its what I want...""

""Sammy...""

""Okay..I am getting married Candy to-to the most beautiful girl ever...""
Suddenly I stopped breathing.The premonition of something horrible happening engulfed me.

""You are...getting....""I stopped. I couldnt say the word.

""Yes..I know you are shocked but she is everything I ever wanted and I want to spend my life with her..She is the most perfect girl...""

The words echoed through my brain.I couldnt make sense of it.

""Who-who is she?""I managed to ask.

""Oh you know her Diya...She is Gunjan...""

The name brought a stab of pain.The way he said it -like he really loved her.

""Gunjan...who...""

""Nupur's sister...""he said.

I took in a sharp breath.Samrat was marrying Gunjan...Gunjan Bhushan...the girl I never thought was of my league...

And Nupur knew...she knew about it...my best friend knew about this...

She didnt know how you felt about Samrat-a voice interjected.

Somehow Nupur's knowledge made it more painful to bear.I felt tears trailing my cheeks.

""Diya I know you are in shock but shouldnt you congratulate me?""came Samrat's chirpy voice.

I shook my head.I couldnt speak.
""Ms.Diya Sharma...""came an authorative voice behind me,""This is not some of fashion fest..this is a meeting and no one is waiting for you any longer...""

""Oh you have to go..""samrat inquired.

""Yes...""I managed to say.He hung up.I stood holding the phone in my hand.I felt numb.

""Ms.Sharma did you not hear what I just said?""Sujoy said coming to stand infront of me.
His expression changed when he saw my face.I stared at him for a while until entire started blurring.Then with a soft thump I fell down.
