wow this indeed is gorgeous .... gunjan couldnt help but think to herself ......nups wasnt wrong when she said this break would do her good ... two days and already she was feeling so good ... hmmmm i can get used to this .... da beautiful weather ... the gentle breeze blowing 24/7 ....the incessant rains even ....... people soooo busy in there own lives that they care 2 hoots about what there neighbour is doing .... sooo unlike delhi ... ok gunjan you are on a break so no delhi talk .... enjoy this amazing city

it had been two days since gunjan had landed in mumbai and both friends were ecstatic meeting each other after 8 months !!!!

today nupur was out having a meeting with one of her clients and gunjan was enjoying a hot mug of coffee on the terrace ....

wow rains could be this mesmerising .... it almost seem to have cast a spell on her .... she couldnt help but sing

' when you were lost in your song .... gunjan i almost forgot you sing soooo well ... i remember the first time i heard you sing at amrita's mehendi .. how everyone kept insisting you sing one more song and how you "

gunjan was never good at handling praises and always changed the topic and today was no different !!!

" nups u really have the most amazing terrace .. its difficult not to come and enjoy the weather "

nupur knew gunjan was trying to change the topic as always .... this girl was too bashful .. other people in her place would lapp up all the praise and totally preen at their talent ..... this girl went out of the way to hide hers

finding nupur lost in her thoughts gunjan placed her hand on nupur's shoulder and ask " nups everything ok with u ... you seem slightly lost "

nupur sighed .... she really was feeling quite upset .. having dragged gunjan all the way from delhi and now that she was starting to enjoy herself here ...... this damn thing came up

" gunjan .. its one of my clients .... he apparently wants me to come to delhi and make a presentation in front of the directors "

nupur owned a small boutique and supplied the most exlcusive stuff to exporters ... she had a Fabulous sense of style .. and was a name to reckon with in her field

" so problem kya hai .... vaise bhi u rarely visit delhi .... issi bahane v will get to spend sum time together "

" gunji he wants me to make da presentation on friday and sunday ... today is monday ... this means i will have to leave in the next few days "

" nups so lets leave by wednesday if that is okay with you ....... am sure vatsala can manage the boutique in your absence .. stay with me for a few days after your presentation is over and "

nupur again cut gunji in " gunjan i wanted you to get away from delhi ....... and now dragging uou back there .. its such a mess ... also you have a seminar to attend and i "

" nups work comes first ... and the seminar isnt really a big deal .... am sure i can attend it next year even "

gunjan was actually sad having to miss the semiar but well going back to delhi was more imptortant now

" nupur call da travel agent and see when can we fly back "

nupur couldnt help but feel upset ..... wait a sec ..... she had to be there for the presentation not gunjan .. so

gunjan started to walk away from the terrace when nupur held her hand

" gunji i have to go back to delhi doesnt mean you have to come along with me .... you stay here in mumbai and i will finish with my work and come back "

" WHAT .... are you crazy ... stay here all by myself ...... nups i came here to spend time with you ... if you only arent here why would i ......

" gunjan gunjan gunjan you are loving it here .. so whats the point of shuttling btween delhi and mumbai .. you stay here and i will be back after finishing my work and this way you can attend your seminar as well "

gunjan wasnt convinced .... dis was silly and sooo not practical and this didnt make any sense

" nups i dont think so ... it hardly makes any sense to me "

" gunjan it is making perfect sense .... you stay here while i fly to delhi for my work "

well gunjan really was tempted to stay back ... so what if she had to stay by herself ... yeah she would miss nupur but then am not gonig 2 get this opportunity again ... and she really needed a break

" nups you sure this will work out "

" absolutely ..... theres nothing to worry about ...... everytihng will be good .. i will be back as soon as my work is over ... you in the meanwhile enjoy this city and the monsoons "

ok aaj toh nupur will kill me only ..... shes been asking me to drop in at her apartment since the past 2 days and leave alone dropping in i havnt even called her back ... samrat beta aaj toh tu gaya ...samrat thought to himself

samrat never really liked messing around with nupur .... her temper was world famous ... once he wasnt able 2 find a CD for her and she refused to talk to him till he found it for her ..... it took CJ 3 days to find the CD and was samrat glad for it or what ... he really couldnt affording a friend like nupur ..... she really was one of the nicest persons he had ever come across .. he remembered how she had stood by him 3 years back ... his parents accident had totally shattered him .... nupur had been his pillar of strength back for him .... he didnt even remember how he managed to get past all the mandatory funeral ceremonies ..... all he could remember was how he had cried holding nupur's hand after all this was over ....... even now he could remember her words

" samrat i will not say that one day dis pain will go away ... it will not .... you will always always feel this hollowness in your heart ....at every special occasion u will miss them "

nupur was in tears ..... seeing samrat this shattered was heart wrenching ..he didnt deserve to go through this pain

" but you have to get your life back in order ..... live up to there hopes .... dont you want them to be proud of you ...for your achievements "

it wasnt like the other people around him werent sympathatic towards him or didnt say the same thing but nupur made sure he came out of this trauma

current day

samrat sighed ... ok samrat you really are a bad bad friend ..... i have to make it up to her and what better than getting her gulab jamuns .... it always always worked ... atleast she wouldnt scream at him while eating ...samrat smiled to himself trying to imagine nupur eating gulab jamuns and trying to scream at the same time

samrat started his car and made a mental note to stop at haldirams to pick up some gulab jamuns for nupur
