Part 4
Sujal was quick and he grabbed her before she reached the ground. Again their eyes met and they got lost in each other.
They still remained in that position with the rain pouring down on them. The girl kept staring at Sujal in a daze watching the rain drop down his locks which were smeared on his forehead. It gave him a sultry look and she couldn't help but feel weak in the knees.
He also couldn't take his eyes off her wet face especially her soft wet lips which he was still eager to taste. The rain was making her more desirable.

He didn't want to let go and the way she kept staring at him signaled that she didn't want him to let go.

She saw some dangerous passion in his eyes which made her scared and the hairs on the back of her neck stood up with fear. She wanted him to let go but his grip was tight around her. Suddenly she felt him getting closer to her and her eyes went wide with shock.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" she let out a loud scream making Sujal release her from his grip and she landed on the wet ground with a thud. Her mouth stayed open in alarm and then she scorned her face at him and he saw the rage slowly rising on her face.

"I can't believe you just did that." She struggled to get up as her foot was hurting and plus she was recovering from the fall.

He gave her a skeptical look, "I'm sorry but I got scared."
"You got scared? I don't believe this." She groaned as she stood up, "you're the one who is the scary one and you're blaming me for scaring you?"
"What?" Sujal didn't understand what this girl was trying to say. "dekhye memsab me sirf aapki madad karaha tha, aapka koi khoon karne nahi aaraha tha."
When she heard that she became even more afraid and was sure that this guy was insane. She thought, "I knew it that this guy is bad news. I have to leave right now." She gave him an innocent smile and said, "Thanks but I think I'll manage now." She continued walking with a swollen ankle. Sujal kept following her making sure she was alright and she kept worrying about him following her. What did he want?

"Look miss I don't know what you must be thinking right now but I really think you need help getting home." He insisted as he caught up with her. However she increased her speed and winced in pain as she pressed on her swollen ankle.

Now he lost his patience and grabbed her hand and stopped her. She was thrown against him again and the motion froze both of them. They stared in each others eyes wondering what each one was thinking and their hearts were racing. They were so close that there was only a matter of a few fractions for their lips to touch.
She slightly trembled and her hand twitched in his grasp. She desperately wanted to get free as his intentions were looking quite bad now. "Look what do you want? I'll give you everything but please leave me alone."

Now Sujal really found it amusing as this girl was making a big deal out of nothing. He couldn't understand why she was afraid of him when it was her who had clung onto him for security. "I don't know what you're thinking but I was just helping you because you came to me for help."
"No I didn't." she blatantly lied as she was not going to admit it now. "I was just...just..." she didn't know what to say so she glared at him and pulled her hand away from him, "I just accidently bumped into you that's all." Then she turned around and began limping away again hoping he won't follow her anymore and he just kept watching her in amusement.

She nearly tripped again and he moved to help her but she bared the pain and began walking again. The dark and the thunder were scaring her but she had to brave it and leave before she became the pawn of a mad man.

After she left he just kept staring in her direction and smiled. Then looked above at the sky and just sighed and then kicked the water in a puddle and walked away from there, elated. He didn't know what it was but the girl stirred so many feelings inside of him that he didn't feel the same. He didn't even know her name or who she was. The only thing he knew was that her pretty face was captured in his eyes forever.
Sujal had to stay in Shimla for a further few days as his car was sent for servicing and he also had other reasons to stay. He desperately wanted to find that girl again. All his friends were in Shimla with him too and they had one favorite place where they always spent time and that was at the roller skating ring. Sujal sat with his gang (Akshat, Varun, Pratham and Mauli). They didn't go there to skate in particular, but went to create mischief. What they did was that whilst sitting they threw paper balls, nuts, paper airplanes, etc on the skaters so then they got distracted and fell down. That created entertainment for them.
That day the guys were sitting as usual and Akshat was eating hazelnuts. A mischievous glint appeared in his eyes when he rolled a paper into a pipe and spat out nuts on passing skaters. One or two turned around to see what hit them which made them collide into each other. All the guys laughed out loud. This created a huge havoc as the other skaters bumped on the fallen ones who were trying to get up, but got thrown down again. The guys couldn't control their laughter.
Mauli noticed that Sujal was again lost in his thoughts and had his nose in his book. He was continuously writing something and she was just annoyed with his habit. "What is this Sujal, we guys have come here to enjoy or tum ho ke bus apni kavita me khush ho."
He stopped writing and looked up at Mauli, "Ab kya karu tum logo jesa mera dimaag nahi hai. And you know I finally got my Kashish."
Mauli looked at him with wide eyes, "What? Oh my God when did this happen? You didn't even tell me that you found someone called Kashish."
He slapped his forehead, "Offo, me apni kitaab kee aakhri kavita ke bare me baat karaha hu. I finally found what I was looking for to complete it." He went in his dream world again remembering that stormy night and his encounter with the girl. He narrated the story to Mauli.
She kept staring at him and smiling as she knew Sujal in and out. He always was passionate about nearly everything and he had so much life in him that sometimes she almost envied him as she couldn't feel that happiness all the time as he did. She always loved to hear his poetry and his romantic stories.
" Yeh dekh, social workers peda hogaye." Akshat commented as he saw from the other side a girl was helping all of those who had fallen. The guys began to laugh and Sujal's eyes noticed it too. From the other side a girl wearing a pink kurta over blue jeans, long hair, stepped into the ring and was actually helping out those who had fallen. He couldn't believe his eyes as it was the same girl. She was actually here in front of him again.
"kya larki hai yaar!" it came out Sujal's mouth absent mindedly and everyone turned towards him. Never before had he ever commented on a girl before and it was a great surprise for all of them.
"What did you just say?" Mauli asked him and then checked his forehead to see if his temperature was alright. "Yeh aaj tumhe ho kya gaya hai Sujal?"
Sujal came back to his senses and saw everyone staring at him. "What? Why are all of you staring at me like that?"
"That's because we've never heard you comment on a girl before." Varun shook his head as it was very new for him.
"Come on guys, it's not like this is the first time." Sujal rolled his eyes at them all but they all gave him the look which told him that they were not convinced. "Okay maybe it is the first time but I'm saying this because I've already met her before."
"What!" all of the gang chorused together as Sujal was giving them surprises after surprises.
"You're telling me that she is the one?" Mauli looked over at the girl and then back at Sujal still in a daze. Then Sujal shook his head and Mauli just kept looking at the girl in amazement. She certainly was something not to forget. The rest of the gang were still dumbfounded and wanted to know what was going on. They pestered Mauli and she then narrated to them the story Sujal told them.
"Rehne de. tsk. Tere type kee nahi hai." Akshat sat back leaning his legs on the front seat.
"Tu jaanta hai ise?" Mauli asked him curtly. Akshat shook his head saying no he didn't and she just gave him a flip on the back of his head.
"To phir tujhe kyu jalan horahee hai." Sujal blurted out and towards Akshat and then he went back at looking at the girl. He desperately wanted to meet her again, talk to her, know so many things and...well he couldn't go any further. "Dekh kese sab ko sahara de rahee hai."
"To tu kahe to ham kuch kare jese wo tujhe bhi sahara de de." Varun and Pratham gave each other high fives as they laughed.
"You guys will never change." Mauli shook her head in disgust, "When will you guys start thinking about girls in a more respectable manner?"
As the gang argued Sujal kept staring at the girl as she kept going around the ring constantly helping the strugglers with that million dollar smile. Her eyes had him captivated and her smile was just doing wonders. He thought "yeh pat jaaye to kisee or ke sahare kee zaroorat na pare."
"You guys I'm telling you oska haath Sujal ko zaroor chuhega, lekin oske haatho ko nahi, oske gaalo ko." Pratham gave his final statement to end the argument but Mauli was not convinced and wasn't going to end it here.
"You guys don't know anything. I'm sure Sujal will get through her fine." Mauli supported Sujal but the guys just kept laughing as they knew how Sujal was with girls and the same would happen again. "You guys don't believe it do you. Chalo lagi shart 5, 5, 100 kee?"
The guys thought over it and then agreed and were ready for the bet. Mauli slapped Sujal's shoulder which brought him back to his senses again and he looked over at the gang.
"In ten minutes she'll be in Sujal's arms." She announced proudly.
"What?" Sujal was alarmed that what were all them talking about. "What are you doing Mauli? Maine aisa kab kaha or yeh..."
"Sujal you've got to do this. Ab yeh meri izzat ka sawaal hai." She tried convincing him.
"Tumhaaree izzat ka sawaal hai? I don't believe this. Yaha pe meri izzat dao pe lagake kehrahee ho ke tumhaaree izzat ka sawaal hai."
"Oh just leave it Mauli. We all know that Sujal won't be able to do anything or yeh larki chehre se itnee shareef lagtee hai ke wo ise ghaas bhi nahi degi." Pratham snorted as he knew what was going to happen.
That didn't please Mauli and Sujal was also displeased. Now he would truly have to show them all that he is something and not what they think. He stood up to go and Mauli gave him a thumbs up. There was this hesitation but he braced himself and moved forward.
"Rehne de Pratham. Abhi dus minute me faisla hojaega. Chal bait ke tamasha dekhte hai." Varun also leaned back and spread his legs out in front and waited for the show to begin.
Sujal put on his roller skates and got up. "Chal Sujal, dekha de apna jalwa!"
He stepped on the ring and held the railing for support. Then he took baby steps away from the railing, as if he was a beginner. In reality he was an excellent skater because he use to skate from childhood, but that day was a different story. 'His' story. He tried skating, but many times stumbled. At one time he lost balance and nearly fell on his back but he grabbed the railing. His friends were laughing at his acting. Again he attempted to skate forward but he lost balance and this time he fell, 'THAPPAK!'
" laaye, haath dijye." Someone came forward and offered their hand to him.
Sujal was pleased to see that the girl in the end did come to save him. Her fair, slender hand was put out for him as if it only belonged to him. He took it and once stood up, he still pretended to stumble.
"Careful" She supported him, "Aapko skating nahi aatee to phir akele kyu aaye?"
He just got lost in her voice. He felt it was so cute of her to ask that question" Actually I was..." he pretended to lose balance.
The girl caught hold of his hand. He smirked and his friends were amazed. "sambhalkar!" She steadied him.
"Kya karoon wo pehlee...wooa," He nearly lost balance again, "baar hai na isilye...darasal me yaha pe aaya apnee marzee se nahi. You see those guys over there" points towards his friends, "onho ne mujhe zabardasti bheja hai."
" Why is Sujal pointing towards us?" Varun asked curiously.
"Zaroor koi khichree paka raha hai." Akshat just brushed it off and sat back looking over the show.
"Aise larko ko to saare aam peetna chaheeye" the girl looked over at them with distaste, " logo pe hasna or mazaak uraana koi unse seekhe. They don't even care how other people suffer because of them."
Sujal was some what impressed by her thoughts. She was so innocent and decent that he was almost feeling ashamed of his actions.
"You don't worry I'll help you" she offered her hand for him to hold.
They both held hands and she instructed him to slowly glide one leg after the other at a steady pace. He was just lost into her, that everything happened automatically. He didn't know when he was skating away like a pro, with her round and round and when he let go of her hand. In between he told her that how come she didn't recognize him and told her about their first meeting on that stormy night. She froze and stared at him as she was looking at him in light and she couldn't believe this was the same guy she had met. He looked so different. Due to his gaze only on her, he didn't see another skater coming in the wrong direction and knocking him over. It made him loose his balance and as he fell on the floor he grabbed onto the girl's hand, which made her topple over him. Now they both lied on the floor with Sujal underneath the girl. They starred at each other's eyes. They were so close that they could smell each other's scent. Sujal's hands automatically wrapped around her back, pulling her into an embrace.
His friends got up with shock and went near the railing to see clearly. They found it unbelievable. And Mauli was getting excited.
The girl felt embarrassed and wanted to get out of his embrace. "chalye, chore ye mujhe"
He came out of his trance, "I'm sorry, wo pair..."
They both tried getting up, but because of their skates, they kept on slipping. First the girl managed to get up and whilst she was doing that, Sujal attempted to hold her hand but by mistake the edge of her kurta came in his hand and he pulled it. It ripped slightly from the side which exposed part of her waist.
She was shocked! He was shocked! Finally he did manage to get up on his feet and before he could utter a word, he held his cheek in pain.
She just gave him a big blow on his face.
He was shocked! His friends were shocked!
