Chapter 4: Tangled Feelings
Recap: BenJan ice-cream date, The gang gets together there. A mission getting Samrat and Gunjan is followed through which has Nupur, Mayank and Benji as cupids as well someone else [ the last cupid wil not be revealed yet]
" what is this yaar? Are they gonna stare at each other all the time or are they gonna move from here, this place has too many bugs" replied Mayank in a grumpy voice.
" I know that there are bugs here, but let's wait patiently guys" replied Nups in a soft voice.
" But Mayank is right. How long will we sit here and damn, is it gonna rain"
All looked up at the clouds moving in.. " PERFECT" are smiled and looked at each other.
" Btw dude, [ looking at 4th cupid] did you puncter Samrat's bike so they would have to walk?"
" Yup, did that already. The plan is in actionnow.
Samrat and Gunjan looked straight at each other, wondering what more to say, when they heard a large thunderstorm and came down the pourcing rain. Gunjan tried to cover herself with her duptta when she saw Samrat placing a hand on her head, in attempting to stop the rain from faling down. She smiled at this.
" Samrat, you think this will really help?"
" Chasmish, it's better than your duptta, don;t you think?
" Let's try to find someplace, where is your bike?"
They went towards Samrat's bike to realize it has been punctured. Both looked at each other with the splashing rain coming down.
Both attempted to run for cover when Gunjan stumled upon a rock in the middle. " ouch" she screamed...
Samrat went towards her and tried to look at her leg in the rain. She told him that it was a small twist and she should be fine. He let her go and she attempted to walk but to fall right into his arms. They put stared at each other in the clear rain.
Behind the wall stood the 4 cupids talking to each other..
" Benji, could you have not thrown a lighter rock, what if Gunjan got hurt really badly?"
" Nups, the plan was to throw a rock in the middle so Gunjan trips and Samrat has to carry her into the rain"
" You two are so filmi. The better idea would have been to ..............................
" Mayank, we had to do this. If we went with your way, Samrat and Gunjan woud have reached home by now. What do you say? [ 4th cupid]
" I agree Mayank that it is filmi but it was needed.. Anyways, guys, what is the next plan in action?"
Back to Samrat and Gunjan who slowly let go fof each other's stare.
" Let me help you Gunjan"
" No, it's okay Samrat, I can walk it"
" You are hurt Gunjan and let me help you... For old times sake"
Samrat and Gunjan flashbacked into their relationship. how it had started, and how it changed.. What drew them apart. Two tears hit the pool of rain.
Samrat extended his hand out to Gunjan who gave him his hand and he slowly carried her i n his arms.
A tangled thought came through Samrat's mind. It was the same feeling he had after the Ishq Hua sequence.. What was happening to him??
[ Sad Version of Yeh Kya Hua plays in the background]
" The next plan of action is Benji" replied Nups in an exicted voice
" Benji?? " replied Mayank with a confused expression
" Yes, Mayank. Benji will go and play the direct link to it. Benji , you will carry Gunjan home leaving Samrat feelings somewhat not happy with this progress" replied Nups with a firm voice
" Is this the right thing to do guys?" replied Mayank feeling sad.
" Yes Mayank. Samrat has hurt Gunjan so many times, it's time he felt the same pain" replied the 4th cupid.
They all agreed and Benji walked out the place.
Samrat carried Gunjan in his arms, both attempting to avoide each other's gaze but not possible. Just then they heard a voice. " Gunjan"
Both turned around to see Benji there.
" Benji, what are you doing here?"
" Gunjan, I came to get you. You didn't come yet and Nups was worried.. Hey, are you okay?"
" Yeah, I am fine Benji. It's just a moch."
" Umm, so Samrat, I'l take Gunjan home. You can go to your date with Sheena or something. We will see you at college dude."
Benji put his arm around Gunjan's waist and saw Samrats reaction. A tear and pain was shown on his face. Benji smiled at this and took Gunjan in his arms and carried her home, breaking away from the path Samrat and Gunjan walked on..
Samrat stared at them walking away when he felt a tap on his shoulder. It was himself, but in a bhavesh face and saw another one, of him, the talent parade Samrat.
They all stared at him witha smile on their faces and each had a question written on it. But he didn't want questions. He wanted answers, answers as to what he was feeling. Getting drenched in the rain, a phone call startled him " Yeah, I'l be right there"
Benji dropped Gunjan home and bid her goodbye and telling her to meet her tommrorw. Gunjan entered her room with a help of Nupur and Uday. As she settled herself on the bed, she thought about the walk, the way Samrat and Gunjan's realationship had changed, the way she still had those feelings for him despite knowing he had feelings for Sheena. She wished she could forget Samrat, but she knew the more she thought of doing that, the more she fell more deeply in love with him.
Nups stared at her with tears in her eyes and at her feet, which was bleeding. With a heavy heart, she went towards the 1st aid box and grabbed the medicine out and attempted to rub Gunjan's feet which joted her out of her thoughts.
" Di, what are you doing?"
" Gunjan, it's bleeding. Let me help you"
" Di, I am fine, relax. Sit next to me"
Gunjan and Nupur sat side by side while Nupur's eyes brimmed with tears.
" Di, I am fine.. Let's go off to bed"
Gunjan and Nupur went off to sleep with Nupur thinking that she hates herself for causing Gunjan pain, but it was the only way.

The next day; Rehersals were in full speed, with Tamana telling everyone to do their certain parts. Sheena and Samrat were praciticing a scene. Mayank and Nupur and Benji were discussing the next plan.
Tamana called for Gunjan-Ranvijay Pool Scene:
Ranvijay postioned himself while Gunajn retained her postion. Still hurting from the pain, Gunjan was unsure as to how she was gonna attempt to do this scene and yes, she stil did not know how to swim:(
Gunjan was blindfolded.. and slowly enacted her lines to perfection. Samrat joted back to the pool party, where he had first met, the time he made her fall because of bhavesh and saved her as Samrat. How he looked into her eyes an for the first time, saw himself there. The way she looked, the way she touched him.
Slowly, the pool scene came a,d off went Gunjan into the pool but instead of Ranvijay, Samrat felt himself go into the pool instead. All were shocked except four people on the stage.
Gunjan enacted her role perfectly, but something stuck her more down and Samrat went down and grabbed her out the water. History repeated itself again as the glasses of Gunjan disappeared, and she was gasping for air.. Samrat stared at the beautiful Gunjan again with those tangled feelings again. All pulled her out the pool. Tamana said, though the scene may have had one flaw, Samrat instead of Ranvijay, the scene was enacted well.
Gunjan slowly sat down on the chair reflecting on the previous meetings with Samrat and looked down at her feet which was bleeding.. She felt someone put a hand on her feet that was bleeding. It was Samrat. He slowly applied the bandage and applied medicine to her. She felt her tears brimming but attempted to control them. Sheena was shocked to see this while the other 4 were smiling away in joy.
Samrat slowly let his hand go and left.... but turned around to see
Gunjan's eyes brimmed with tears, when Benji moved towards her and grabbed her tears'
" Hey, don;t you know that this is priceless for me, dont make them fall again"
Gunjan just turned around and enclosed Benji into a hug. Benji hugged her back just to see Samrat standing there with millions of tears in his eyes.
