Thank you for the recap, it really did help to be reminded of Riddhima's daze at the end of Part 10 ... oh i know that feeling! considering i'm the one 'writing' this fic, there were more than a few details i had to go back and check out upon, to ensure i wasn't going to leave bloopers for consequent readers...if! =) but i've done better for myself, haven't i now?!
But back to Part 11, itself...wow! So much happened, that too in the space of less than an evening. And if I my guess is any good, this isn't the end of the it for tonight. - Ah! i really like the sound of 'this isn't the end of it for tonight'... knowing me, that should be about right 😆
First, to Armaan and Riddhima's outburst. I think in this situation, I found myself siding with Armaan more than with Riddhima (as I often seem to). But having said that, my heart really went out for Riddhima. The whole cactus scene was so touching (no pun intended - LOL!) and in way, it was nice to see a side of Riddhima that you hadn't explored that much before... yeh, erm, i can see the predominant lack of consent for Ridhima's side... but people can be and are unfair... when they are real that is! =) i think the sketch of ridhima and her past in my mind warrants it for her to be wrong every now and then... she's a good kid though he he! i'll get her to make up to mr. tries-hard-to-be-patient-but-for-how-long! 😆
I'm also finding Abhi and Nikki's interactions very endearing, right from his apprehensions to her conversation starter about football. And yet, I'm beginning to get the feeling that there are misunderstandings on the way because of 'Nikki's latest'' and Riddhima's call to Abhi. But what's a love story without a twist, eh? 😉 yehhh! that's the way to go! can't tell a story if there's nothing between once upon a time and happily ever after, na-uh! in my mind - again because that's where everything is and if only it didn't take so much time getting it down in print - AN are going to be starkly different from AR... despite the similarities... because essentially, Armaan and Abhi and Ridhima and Niki have elemental differences as people..
Atul and Anjali are also very cute. I like the way their interactions are more scattered than those for AR and AN. It makes their story more 'dimensional' and gives it more depth, if that makes any sense at all. yes it does. thank you so much for noticing, not that it was hard, but not many people did beyond AR and AN, lol! i've always found those two characters extremely abused by DMG cvs and think they can do so much better! and i'd pick random characters from the old gang any day over the season 2 which has always come to me as too half baked! And that simplicity is what sets AA apart from the others.
Basically, I loved the part, and am looking forward to your shorter and more frequent updates. 😛
haha! can't say if i lived up to either of the shorter or frequent claims 😆 but the next part is up, thank heavens, and now ur awaited to comment again! =)))
