Hi everyone,
I'm usually not very active here but I had this idea for a Sajan FF, so after thinking about it and then rethinking about it, I decided to post it. This is only part 1; I will continue only if people are interested. This is set around the time that Sheena enters the college, everything else is the same and it is told from Samrat's POV.

Part 1:
Have you ever walked by someone and thought, "I wish my life was as perfect as that guy's life?" And everyone tells you that you cannot know how that person's life is without walking in his shoes. But somewhere inside of you, you know that life is perfect for him because when he smiles, you can see that he's smiling from the depths of his soul because he knows just how amazing it is to be him.
Well, I'm that guy and that perfect life is mine. Or at least it was until three days ago. It had just been a mere three days ago when I felt like my life could not get any better than it was. I had college, I had basketball, I had my friends, I had my freedom, and most importantly, I had Gunjan. It had been just three days since I spent the best Rose Day of my life, and the 2nd best day of my life, and it was all thanks to Gunjan. (See below for 1st best day.) Now, I still have all those things that make my life perfect, except that my best friend, the number one person in my life, the person I would do anything for, was avoiding me like the plague ever since that magical Rose day...day! And on top of that, I don't know what I did!
I've been racking my brain trying to figure it out and I just can't imagine what I've done to make her act like this. In case you haven't figured it out, I'm talking about Gunjan (aka Chasmish). [Side note: Chashmish is MY copyright.] Anyway, the last time Chashmish avoided me, I had done something terrible and I had promised I'd never do it again. But that time was different. Chashmish always looked so sad when she was mad at me. Now? I can't describe it, but Gunjan's changed somehow. It's something in the way that she looks at me that I can't quite figure out. She's not sad, but she's not happy either.
After the first day of this "behavior" I figured that it was just a girl thing and that she'd be fine the next day. (I have experience with this kind of stuff.) But she was the same the next day and the day after and it was really starting to annoy me (and it takes a lot for me to get annoyed). I hadn't had a decent conversation with my best friend in three days. And that makes my life less than perfect. And I HATE it when my life isn't perfect. It takes a lot of scheming and charming for me to get my life exactly the way I want it.
Now, you're probably wondering why I don't just ASK Chashmish what's wrong with her? I would ask her, if I could find her. Lately, I've been spending all my time wandering around college asking people if they've seen Gunjan.
I was thinking about what exactly I could to force Gunjan to tell me what was going on with her while I was getting ready for college. I was up a little early because I was planning on cornering Gunjan at her house. I usually go to pick her up but I haven't been able to catch her these past few days, which makes me even more suspicious of what's going on with her because Chashmish LOVES riding with me on my bike.
Thinking of Gunjan riding on my bike reminds me of the night we became friends again and we took a long bike ride on Valentine's Day. THAT was the best night of my life because it was the day I got my best friend back. I looked into the mirror, even more determined to make sure that I got my best friend back again.
So, I was sleepy from waking up early, frustrated from the way Chashmish was acting, but also smiling as I thought about cute Chashmish looked at the Valentine's Day dance. All of those factors combined are what I blame for what happened next. I was blow-drying my hair, which I usually don't do, but I had a little extra time from waking up early. As I thought about dancing with Gunjan on Valentine's Day, I did a light quickstep, except that I got all tangled up in the cord of the blowdryer. As I tried to untangle myself, my orange juice fell all over the blowdryer! I smelled a burning scent and then everything went black!

I woke up to a slight burning smell and a tingling in my body. Slowly getting up, I wobbled unsteadily around, trying to find out where that smell was coming from. The culprit to my sorry state (the blowdryer) was laying emitting smoke, but everything else in my room seemed fine. "Stupid blowdryer! Almost killed me!" I yelled out loud as I looked at myself in the mirror. Thankfully the shock didn't do anything to my hair, otherwise I would be REALLY late. I looked over at the clock and "Oh No!" I said aloud as I realized that I wasn't going to be able to corner Chashmish at her house.
I quickly grabbed my things when I heard my Cook calling from downstairs, "Samrat Baba? You're going to be late for college!" I groaned as I wasn't going to be able to eat her fabulous breakfast. But Chashmish was more important.
I raced downstairs and was almost to the door when I heard Cook (yes, I call her Cook) say, "Ungrateful wretch! He didn't even eat his breakfast." I turned around, surprised at Cook's behavior. I didn't think she had a mean bone in her body.
"Um, did you say something?" I called out to her.
Cook came out, a radiant smile on her face. "No, I didn't say anything. Hurry up beta, you're going to be late." As usual, he's ALWAYS late. God, isn't he ever on time? But I still have to make him breakfast everyday.
"I'm not always late!" I blurted out, a bit offended. I had never seen this side of cook.
"When did I say you were always late beta?" Cook answered. And God forbid I don't make his breakfast everyday. The day he decides to be on time is the day I don't make him breakfast and then I have to hear him complain.
"Uh, I'm sorry did I?" I began to say but she cut me off.
And then I have to end up eating his breakfast when he doesn't eat it. And I've gained like 20 lbs just working here for him.."
I gasped as I realized her lips weren't moving but I could still hear her voice! I could hear her thoughts!
