it had been a long long time. mayank had tried to bur his feelings away, ignore them or try to let go of them but always ended up failing. and now, at this stage, he didnt know how to face the world, how to stay strong. he had lost all his strength to face this. it was hard. it was extremely hard for him to get over her. she was the reason for all this.

nupur cud not spend one minute without mayank. inspite of rahul's presence, she went off to find mayank. she thoght that he was mad at her for the argument which they had. she was totally unaware of his actual feelings. as if she always took him for granted and just denied to see something which was so visible.his love.

she opened the main door to find mayank's mom in the living room.

n- aunty mayank ghar aa gaya?(she said with worry visible in her speech)

mm- haa...lekin baat ka hai....bohot udas lag raha tha...aur room bhi lock kar diya...kuch kaha bhi nahi...is everything ok beta?

n- aunty .. wo .. bas aise hi... main ussey dekh ke aati hoon

and she rushed up to mayank's room.

she banged on the door.

n- mayank!! open the door!!!please mayu!!i am sorry

mayank didnt say a word and continued to tear. she tried her best to make him open the door but all her efforts went in vain.

mm- beta... u know how stubborn he is...leave him for now...

n- ok aunty...

and she left with a disappointed face.

mayank didnt sleep that night. his eyes were swollen. he wasnt tearing anymore. as if no more tears were left for him to shed. but now he had made a decision. he wasnt going to stay here any longer. he had to get away from all this. by morning his phone had received over 70 missed calls and 100s of texts.

he took a hot shower and freshened himself up for a new beginning. a new start. he wanted to start another chapter of his life using a fresh page and not the one with stains of pain.

he went downstairs to find his mom and dad on the dining table. he joined them

m - good morning mom dad

md- good morning son

mm- mayank...is everything ok??

m- wat r u talking about? i am perfectly fine

and then he changed the topic to something which was more important

m - mom..dad...i need to tell u something..

md - go ahead

m- i was thinking to move to new york...give akhil some company....hes all alone there..

akhil was mayank and nupurs buddy who had recentl moved to new york cuz he broke up with his gf

mm- but mayank..

m- mom please...i shud be there for him...
