Part 7-

It felt so strange as though someone had just ripped her apart. She couldn't believe what she had just heard, it was crazy, a crazy nightmare. Yes thats what it was!

She slowly walked down to the gate out of the office unaware of where she was going except that she wanted to go far far away from there.

Madhav- hey anne what happened to nupur?

Anne- i don't know! Why?

Mayank- kya hua nupur ko dude??

Madhav- pata nai. Abhi abhi she left the office au raise lag rahi thi jaise pata nai she just saw someone die or something!

As soon as she heard this anne ran out of the cabin with her car keys in her hand, leaving mayank and madhav behind.

Madhav- shit shit shit! I hope shes ok!

Mayank- relax dude shell be fine!

Madhav- she means the world to me yaar! Usko kuch bhi hua na to-

Mayank looked at madhav suspiciously. Does madhav like nupur? Oh god no! He shouldn't! Hes not the right guy for nupur! Kuch to karna padega seriously!

And mayank quickly left the room leaving a confused madhav standing there all alone.

Anne rushed out into the roads looking at all the possible places where nupur could've gone. The juhu beach, the malls, the shops, everywhere she could think of. Anne even tried nupurs phone, but it was switched off. Unseemingly annes tension was increasing!

Agar nupur ko kuch ho gaya to main kya karoongi! Aur is time to road pe koi dhikh bhi nai raha hai! Kisi ne use... oh god anne shubh shubh soch!

She thought trying to calm herself down when suddenly her cell started ringing. She quickly picked it up to hear a crazily worried madhav on the other end.

Madhav- nupur ka kuch pata chala anne?

Anne- not yet madhav but im still looking.

Madhav- juhu beach check kiya?

Anne- haan!

Madhav- ummmmm did you check at her place?

Anne- uhhhh no. Chal m keeping the phone ill call you when i reach there!

Madhav- okay!

Mayank quickly caught up with sana as she walked down the corridor from the conference room.

Mayank- hey sana soon i need your help yaar!!

Sana- kyu kya hua?

Mayank- guusa mat hona sana!

Sana- haan ok bol to!

Mayank- yaar i.. i want you to woo madhav!

At this he heard a loud thumping voice and he looked down to see all the files which she had dropped in shock.

Sana- mayank how could you even think... gosh get lost mayank!

She said tromping away in anger.

Mayank slowly rubbed his forehead as he felt nausea seeping in on him when suddenly someone tapped him on his shoulder. He quickly turned to see nidhi standing there looking concerned.

Nidhi- kya hua mayank? Everything ok?

Mayank- ya nidz its just-

He suddenly stopped in his tracks and looked at nidhi. She was smart, pretty and caring. She would easily be able to woo madhav.

Anne quickly rushed into nupurs place as she found nupur sitting there alone looking at a photo. Anne inched closer not wanting to disturb nupur.

Nupur was looking at a photo of their group. Anne, nupur,gunjan, madhav, benji and samrat.

Anne slowly placed her hand on nupurs shoulders as nupur turned around with her eyes full of water.

Anne- kya hua nups?

Nupur slyly nodded her head to say a no and then turned back at the photo while anne quickly came and sat beside her helping nupur to lie down, nupurs head resting on annes lap and tears rolling down her cheeks.

Nupur- why dint you tell me ann?

Anne- tell you what nups?

She asked as she slowly moved her hand through nupurs silky brown hair.

Nupur- tell me that... that you and mayank are going out?

She said hiding her teary face in annes lap.

Anne- you... you liked him... dint you?

Nupur- NO GOD DAM!!! I tell you everything ann! And you dint tell me such a big thing about your life!

Anne- i was about to nu-

Nupur-but you dint!

Anne-nupsi main-

Nupur- your one of the few who i thought would love me through it all and tell me everything ann! And tune bhi!

Anne- stop it nups. I love you more than anything on earth! I do i swear!

Nupur- then why anne?

Anne- mayank asked me to nupur. He told me he dint want us to make it official yet!

And at that point nupur knew anne was telling the truth, even if she wasn't anne was her best friend. She had to trust her!

Nidhi was in action already, she slowly crept upto madhavs cabin but found it empty.

"oh dam!"

She shouted out to herself.

There was a ring on nupurs door. And they both turned to see madhav standing there with a sad smile on his face.

Madhav slowly walked upto nupur and hugged her at a instinct.

Madhav- you crazy bitch! Do you know how worried i was! Meri behen ko kuch ho jataa to main kya karta hun? Stupid female!

Nupur- sorry bro!

She said as she hugged him tighter, when suddenly she felt her home phone ringing.

She quickly ran upto the phone and picked it up.

Anna- helo nups?

Nupur- ya anna?

She said trying to clear her throat.

Anna- kahaan hai tu?

Nupur- main ghar pe hun anna. Kyu?

Anna- ghar pe? Hey bhagwaan mr bakshi yahaan tera project proposal review karne aaye hue hai aur tu ghar pe hai?

Nupur dropped the phone as she felt her heart sinking. She quickly grabbed her purse and ran out of the house.

3 hours later-

misery broke over mayank as he felt nupur breaking down completely in his arms, her hands clutching at his collar, and her tears flowing over his shirt. he should never have done that, he should never have asked nidhi to woo madhav, shes knows! he thought. mayank your such a idiot, such a kid, he told himself. how could you do this to nupur? nupur shyly pushed away from his shoulders, his hands still on her waist, and looked deep into his eyes, a look of pain unbearable and she said witha tone of deepest pain in her voice said- he... he...and then she said something which made mayanks blood boil.
