Hi, I've read quite a few of your FFs, but have only just joined IF. You're writing is always so sweet and simple, but says a thousand words!

I'd love it if you could PM me when you next update, but until then, good luck with your exams, and I'm definitely praying for you. I've got exams too (biology tomorrow) so I know just how important it is that we stay away from IF! 😆

Part 9

Laura looked at armaan who was standing into the window of the corridor....looking at the sunset........this sunset was seem to be the sunset of his happiness.....

Armaan was always a brother to whom she adored and loved.....but this was not the armaan she knew...this was not his brother.....his brother was never been so dull and sad........There were difficulties, bad days of his life but he use to get out from them and be back like he was....happy, cheerful...full of life...

Yes, these words use to describe him best....

But surly sad and sorrow not countable......

[I had to do something......i cant see him like that] Laura thought and she was confirmed with what she had to do

With firm decision she move towards Riddhima room......its almost a month since armaan found her and from that day, armaan seems more lost and terrible and Riddhima is the only flower who can stop this sunset and make the sun rise again

Riddhima was too standing into the window, watching the sunset and silently cried........she was a little stable now.........she gave the confession and the search of Sunil was legally on.....the had got a sketch from the neighbours and armaan announced 1 lac prize for the one who will find him.....

Laura reached to her and grabbing her hand take her out to the tv lounge....

[What are you doing laura.....i dont wanna go anywhere.......Leave me.....Laura i said leave me] But laura didnt listentoo her and after reaching Tv lounge almost pushed her to the sofa and closed the door........She take out a CD and put it in the DVD player while Riddhima keep watching her with stunned face....

Laura never behaved like this before.....

and after a moment, she hear his voice......

Riddhima keep listening to the song and she can feel the pain he was suffering from........he had already told her that he loved her........this was the song he sand in a live tv show right on the day, she left him.............he was hoping and she knew he would e for her return........

She sighed.......that must ahave happened.......she must have stopped right at the day and not left him.......and so she can still be the person she was......and so Sunil would have never been able to do what damaged he had caused her.....the mental n physical torture she had gone through

[You listen that Riddhima.....he loved you then and he love you now......you are wrong in judging people because if you had......you must have seen his clear heart who beat with your name.......its not you only who is suffering............its Armaan too.......He dont care a bit what others think......about his career...........he is ready to leave all that just to see that you are ok.......you are doing fine....but you dont care............why will you care as you never loved him........why will you care as he was just a way for you to help you parents to go on with the surgery of your brother.........Was he just a money machine for you?]

[NO] Riddhima replied firmly while tears again started building up in her eyes

[I have never looked at him in this way............he wanted my voice and i wanted my brother to be safe and sound........that was a equal deal]

[Deal, thats was it always about..........Did you never care about the heart which was always so curious about you.......you know he always used to talk about you.....how you beat him in the singing competition.....that you inspired him to have full training.......and when he found you finally he was so happy.......] she sighed....how she missed that smile

[Riddhima.....] she said softly and put a soft hand on her shoulder

[You need to trust men........you need to trust him.......He is living for you now.....]

[Laura but what.....]

[But what Riddhima...] she looked at her for a moment and on getting her point......she stand up in anger

[Hell Riddhima.....you think Armaan is like that Bas**** Sunil.......Dont you dare compare my brother with him............i know my brother right from the time i got to know the world......look at the facts......we are his maid daughters but do you even see a difference.......have you ever seen him behaving less than a brother with us........he is the most generous person i have ever met and i can say it with surty...........if i had not consider him like my brother, i would have wanted a guy like him.....or may be him....] Riddhima look at Lauras face for a moment and then look down....

[Trust him Riddhima......otherwise you will be the one, i will blame for killing my brother day and night] Saying that, laura turned and left the room.........leaving her in between a fight.......A fight between her heart and mind

Her heart knows that whatever Laura said was a truth........she need to trust him......what not he had done for her.....help her escape from that market where no one has dignity.........help her treating her brother.........give her fame......provide her security........and what she had done for him......left him when he expressed his love.....a pure feeling that she too had felt and know how strong that is..............Her heart made a mistake is understanding it then but how can she blame him

No, her mind speak up..........You cant trust him.......you trusted Sunil and what he had given you...........All men are same

All men cant be same.......Heart soothed her......if that was the case then you must have been hating your father and brother but you dont........

They have a blood relation with you.......its because of the blood relation that you dont feel hatred towards them

If blood relation has meant all of it than why would had armaan take so much trouble for you.........he make you rise up in the world.......he loves you trully,.....dont misjudge him

But.....

[Stop] Riddhima shout up........covering her ears with her hands.......silenting all the thoughts of her mind and heart

[I know what i have to do]

[Riddhima] Nupur and Shaina came to visit her.......

[How are you?] Shaina asked softly hugging her

[I am fine Shaina.....how are you both?] She asked hugging Nupur

[Fine too.......] the three take place on the Riddhima,s bed

[Riddhima, you know our trip to London was fun..........our shoot ended and we are ready to launch the next album] Nupur told her excitedly

[nice....who is the singer?] Riddhima asked her in a normal tone

[Harshal Chauhan........it is his second album........the first was a huge success]

[Good......do you want some coffee......where are aryan and mayank?]

Shaina looked at her shocked..........she never inquired about them in a month

[They are in the hall with armaan] Shaina looked at Nupur and then back at Riddhima

Riddhima smiled a little at there shocked faces and then said

[Lets join them and had coffee] as Riddhima moved out, Shaina and Nupur followed her with a smile on there faces

Part 10

Riddhima was standing infront of the mirror, examining herself

As days were passing...........She was getting better and better....but she was still lacking in something

Confidence.........

She moved her fingers gently, with a feather light touch...................Due to the half burned face, she was unable to build up her confidence

She remembered, after some days when she went with Nupur for shopping, Many people gave her sympathetic looks............some just turned there faces from her......while other says Bechari.....

She dont want those eyes, those feelings, those words..............

She wanted courage, hope, power..........

And thankfully, that all was given to her by Armaan and his family

[Armaan....] his name bring a smile on her dry lips............

He was definitely a man everyone desire to be with............People find it difficult to have a meeting with him and his fans, to have a look of him.,..........she was neither his business associate nor his fan...........but the center of his universe.

For armaan, everything revolves around her now

How amazing is that..............like a year before, she was no where in his life................but she always stay as a part of his mind.....his memory always had a picture of her stored very secretly inside it..........

And now, she is in his life and his mind is saving new data but now, along with his mind, his heart also get involved in this work of keeping her secure inside.......

[Riddhima] Nupur called out for her as she entered the house.............She was looking damn exciting

Riddhima get out from her room leaving the book behind which she was reading

[What happened?] But instead of answering, Nupur just hold her from arms and give her a swing

[I am so happy........you know armaan was trying to have a talk with a plastic surgeon...........and he discussed your reports with him today..........You know what the surgeon said??] Riddhima listen to her carefully and was surprised as she didnt knew

[What he said?]

[He said that you have to go through a minor operation and your face be cured......] Riddhima felt a wave of emotions running inside her........... {I will be back to myself.........my face will be cured...........i will....look into the mirror to see MYSELF back there} She got tears on thinking this and hugged Nupur

[Dont cry yara............The time of Smiles is coming back.......]She break the hug and wipe her tears

[Welcome it with a warm smile......as you worth every single second of it] Riddhima smile

[Ok, I and Mayank are going with you to London for this operation]

[London??] Riddhima asked surprisingly

[Yes and we are going day after tomorrow.............pack your bags and if you need any other stuff, we can go shopping tomorrow]

[Ok and.................Armaan]

Nupur knew that Riddhima too started feeling for armaan..........She knew one day, she will fall for him and now, nupur and mayank are so happy to know that.....

[He has some work here............so he cant come along but dont worry, we will take good care of you] As Nupur wink, Riddhima blushed and ran inside, feeling butterflies in her stomach

Riddhima remembered that morning, few day before when armaan cooked breakfast for her

~Flash Back~

Riddhima get up a little late today as getting out from the warm bed of her seems impossible.......After freshen up and making the bed she get out to have her breakfast, only to find no one was there..........

Astonished, she went towards the kitchen as her stomach start growling........she heard armaan humming and followed his voice reahed the kitchen to find him working on stove wearing an apron

She smiled silently as he was looking too cute in this chef avatar........

On feeling someone presence, armaan turned around to find her smiling

[Good Morning] He too smiled while wishing her

Riddhima straighten up her face and replied [Good Morning]

Armaan disappointingly, turned around to cook

[Where is Nanny, Laura and Cathy?]

[Its Christmas today so they all went to do the prayers in Church and later on, they have plan to meet their friends..........so may be they will not be back till night] Armaan replied mixing the mixture for french toast

[Ok] Riddhima turned around to leave when armaan stopped her

[Would you like French toast this morning??]

[Hmmmm..........dont bother, i will make myself]

Armaan turned around saying

[I am not a bad cook......]He give a mean look.......[And promise not to put anything wrong in your food] Riddhima smiled at him and nodded

[OK] Armaan too smiled and turn back to work

Later they both share the breakfast on the sofa, watching tv........... They both didnt enter eachother space and riddhima enjoyed his company alot....... That day surly made her realize her love....

Riddhima was all prepared to leave for London..........Her bags were already in car..........She already shop for the jeans and some wool clothes and now was standing in her room, giving it a last glimpse

She was going to miss this room.............

Surly she wasnt going for too long but this room stored many memories of her..........The room knew her pain, tears, sorrow, sleepless nights...........But it was also ready to see the bright side of her future.........her happiness, her cheerful look, her smile still need to be registered in here

She get out from the room to find Nanny, Laura, John and Cathy standing to bid him bye.........

Shaina and Aryan were going to accompany them to the airport..........

Riddhima one by one hug them all while all pray for her betterment............On not finding armaan their, she looked around the main hall........Laura got that and quietly give a card to her

[Armaan gave it for you] She said slowly.......

Riddhima confused take it and still on feeling the regret of not meeting him, she left for the airport..........

Throughout the road trip to airport, she keep thinking about armaan.....

[Why he wasnt there? If he is not coming along, atleast he can bid me bye or say gul luck] she kept thinking but didnt said anything...........

She didnt feeling like reading the card in car as everyone was sitting there..........

After getting their boarding pass, the were sitting in boarding area when Nupur and Mayank went to Star Bucks for coffee and on getting the chance, Riddhima read the card

It was a very beautiful card wishing All The Best having a cute teddy with flowers in his hand

Riddhima open the card and read his writting

[Hmmmm Riddhima,
I dint know from where to start and how to end,
But i want to wish you all the best for your surgery......
I hope it will go great and you come back with the smile thats somewhere lost....
I miss that smile.....
Didnt had the heart to see you leaving again, though this time i know, you will be back to.......Me
But still............
Thats why i wasnt at home or at airport to wish you..........But my mind is always thinking about you
Wish you All the Best
