EPISODE 9

Kripa was standing outside RAS with an umbrella…it 's raining heavily….and kripa is waiting for her driver….the scene in the caf is playing out in her mind,which she had incidentally witnessed when she had followed ridhima and Tanya there….

Angad rushes out of RAS..and spots kripa ..he calls out her name..but kripa doesn't respond,partly due to the heavy rains,and partly due to to her ego…

Kripa quickly starts to go..but angad is fast..he reaches her and holds her arm..

He calls out softly.."kripa.."…kripa looks at him indifferently…(kripa and angad are standing sideways with their heads in completely opposite directions...)

Angad again repeats her name…kripa irritatedly looks back..

"angad mujhe mera maan pata hai..."..she mutters angrily...

Angad lowers her face down..kripa,talking advantage of his silence wrenches her hand out of his grip..and starts to go..when angad holds her back..

Kripa gets pissed off,and yells..

"leave my hand angad..otherwise I'll shout.and u'll be thrown out of here in a jiffy...!!.."

Angad gives a twisted smile...

"really kripa...?.."

Kripa looks the other way..still trying to free her hand..she knows she cant shout..but is adamant that she wont admit this in front of angad...

"I don't want to trouble you kripa...par main apni galti ke liye bas tumse ek bar mafi maangna chahta hun..main ab pura sach janta hun.."-

Kripa cuts him mid sentence and cheekily retorts..

"to kya main tumhare sach ka bharta banaun..?...listen angad..i tried to be your true friend..but you know whet you don't deserve our friendship..."...

And kripa leaves...leaving a hurt angad getting drenched in the rain...

Next morning....

Ridhima is sleeping on her bed blissfully..when suddenly..

"Tring tring..tring tring"

Ridhima sits up in her bed..still dreaming of dragons and witches...and mutters sleepily..

"aati hun..aati hun.."

Just as the person outside gets ready to announce himself...

Ridhima opens the door..she still has her eyes closed..and mutters

"bhaiya aaj ek packet hi dudh dena..."

While the person outside..who happens to be armaan for your information, gives a sly grin,ridhima is busy leaning on her door..eager for her dream to proceed...

Armaan,in a perfect 'dudhwala type' voice ,answers.."thik hai madam..par aaj meri dudh thodi special hai..chakh ke dekho na.."...armaan the dudhwala pleads...

Ridhima who's still oblivious to whats happening,..is still fast asleep...

Armaan hands her the mystery bottle,and the mystery unfolds..(I mean he opens the cap for her..)..

Ridhima takes a sip,and is rudely awakened..she splits the whole thing on the floor...AND FINALLY OPENS HER EYES...

She jumps violently on seeing armaan at her doorstep,and angrily marches ahead..

"tum yahan,abhi...??aur ye tumne mujhe kaunsi bhais ka dudh diya..??"..ridhima demands...still burning red with hanger..

Armaan sits on the floor,unable to suppress his giggles any more..and starts laughing untrollably...

In between his laughs,he tells ridhima.."ridhima,wo.."..ha ha ha.."wo spinach juice tha.."..ha ha ha.."the secret of my energy..!!"..ha aha....

Ridhima eyes armaan dangerously..then frowns...

"armaan tumhe koi awwaz sunai de rahi hai..?"..

"haan tumhara alarm abhi bhi baj raha hai..!!.."armaan answers ,smiling mischieviously...

Ridhima stares at armaan wide eyed...then exclaims hysterically..

"oh no..alarm..mera shoot..my 1^st shoot...i'll be late..!!.."

Armaan pacifies her...

"don't worry ridhima..hero ke bina zero ka koi kaam nehi hai...!!.."

Ridhima angrily throws the bottle at armaan and rushes inside...

"i'll be there in 10 mins..tum andar mat aana..."

After half an hour..

Ridhima comes out of her room,and is mighty surprised to see armaan sleeping(and snoring) on her sofa...

"ARMAAN..!!"

Armaan sits up grumpily..

"armaan tum andar kyun aaye..?"..ridhima demands angrily...

"ridhima,wo bahar mujhe sab kaise badi-badi aankhon se dekh rehe the..main kya karta..?"..armaan answers innocently..

Ridhima exclaims amazed..

"to tum andar aaye gaye..?you fool..!!.."

"be cool.."..armaan tells her...

Ridhima mutters under her breath.."idiot,stupid,useless,besharam kahinka,akal ka andha..!!.."-

Armaan says mischeiviously.."ridhima ye gayatri mantras padhna band karo..aur chalo..."he winks .."aaj dudhwale ki cycle nehi hai..!!"..and grabs her hand and takes her outside...while all the neighbours stare at them..and ridhima glares at armaan...

In the car....

Armaan puts on very loud music..

"armaan volume low karo,mujhe sona hai..."

Armaan replies sarcastically..."sona hai...!!..madam tumhare is bimari ki waja se we r already an hour late...!!..kitna sona hai tumhe...?"

Ridhima doesn't reply and promptly puts off the music...

Armaan angrily puts it on again...

Ridhima goes on to switch it off again...when armaan grabs her hand to stop her ...

"armaan ouch-chodo...."

Just then armaan who is now facing ridhima moves the steering dangerously..without looking forward...

Ridhima shouts.."armaan dekh ke.."-...buts itz too late...

THADDAM

Ridhima bangs her head in the glass...and so does armaan,but they escape unhurt..

Armaan looks at ridhima guiltily...

"ridhima r u fine..?"..ridhima nods her head...

Armaan gets down,and looks at the devastation devastated......

Ridhima gets down too and starts blasting armaan..

"dekha,sab tumhari us stupid music-system ki vajah se.."

Armaan cuts her.."excuse me..ye sab tumhare son eke chakkar mein hua..!!"

And the bickering goes on........

Afer a decade....

Ridhima asks.."aab kya Karen,yahan par to sirf jungle hai..."

Armaan answers.."ridhima aage dekho...bekar ki cheezon mein kyun itna interest dikhati ho..?mujhe jungle mein mangal nehi karna...!!"...

Ridhima jumps..and asks unbelievably.."what..?"

"uff ...thoda chup raho..main add valon ko phone karta..gadi arrange karni padegi..."

After making the call.."abhi vo log 2 hrs mein gadi bhej rahe hain..tab taka age chalke dekhte hain..shyad koi hotel ho..!!.."...armaan tells ridhima hopefully...

Angad meanwhile has spent a very sleepless night...cursing himself for being such a brainless fellow..he decides he must make kripa forgive him...

@ RAS...

Angad spots kripa entering the lift...and rushes inside...kripa and angad's arms brush each other..making kripa shiver slightly and look up...

Angad blocks kripa's way and halts the lift..(the lift's empty except for them..)

"angad,mera raasta chodo..mujhe tumse koi baat nehi karni hai..."..kripa tells angad...

Angad curtly replies back..

"par mujhe to karni hai..."

Kripa angrily takes out a photograph from her purse and hands it to angad..

"ye lo meri photo..jitni chahe baat kar lo..!!."

Angad is exasperated...."kripa..i know I am a fool,idiot,stupid...."-

Kripa cuts him and tells in a pleasant manner.."nehi angad..aisa nehi hai.."

As angad starts to smile..kripa continues..this time raising her voice...

"tum ek maha idiot,maha fool,aur maha stupid ho..."

Angad sighs..

"fine kripa...par is ka matlab ye nehi that you behave like a kid..yaar,I just want you to forgive me..."

Kripa stares at angad...

"why should I forgive u angad...?"..she asks him..

Angad is speechless..but after a minute responds.."I promise you not to ever hurt you again,and I also promise to keep my promise..kripa main tumse itna naraaz is liye hua tha,because I cared for u,I thought u were my friend,and that's why I was hurt a lot...kripa...please hamari friendship ko itni jaldi harne mat do..i promise to be your friend for ever..."

Kripa looks at angad..half of her is yearning to forgive him,and half of her is still possessed by her ego..she knows she could certainly do with a friend like angad...but she's not ready to forget his mistakes yet...

Just then the lift door opens...and kripa snaps out of her thoughts..she pushes angad hastily seeing people outside..and goes away before angad can stop her...

Ridhima n armaan have walked some distance when ridhima spots a pani puri wala...

She excitedly rushes there..only find armaan is still standing behind...looking apprehensive..

Ridhima goes back..."tum he invite nehi kiya maine..phir bhi tum aa sakte ho..."..she says grinning..

Armaan smiles.."meri billi mujhi se meow...aare waah miss pani-puri..tum kabse joke karne lag gayi...?"

Ridhima signals him to come with her...and she goes and sits on a bench..waiting for the pani –puri wala to prepare it....she's served with the pani-puri...

Armaan spots the bench shaking..and is just about to shout...when..

THADDAM

The bench breaks,and ridhima falls down..while armaan is watching all this open mouthed...

He then rushes forward...and offers his hand to ridhima...ridhima hands him her pani-puri plate..which is still intact..and tries to get up on her own...

Armaan sighs...keeps the pani-puri plate aside..and helps ridhima get up..when she falls down again,holding her leg and moaning in pain...

Armaan panics and quickly bends down.."ridhima kya hua..?"

Ridhima answers moaning.."laga hai sprain aa gaya..oouch..."...

Armaan brings his hand forward to check her leg...but ridhima stops him....

"ridhima chalo,gadi mein medicines hai...utho..come on.."...

Ridhima stands up with difficulty..but doesn't agree to hold armaan's hand when he offers it again...armaan gets angry..

"wat ever...!!..main koi tum he interested nehi hun.. I am just trying to help u...but if u don't want it then fine..!!.."..

Ridhima looks at him confused..."maine kab kaha tum mujh me interested ho..?"

Armaan is caught of-guard...but he gains his composure quite soon...

"don't act smart ridhima.."...armaan retorts and starts walking ahead of ridhima....

But soon ridhima cant bear the pain and falls back on the ground...

Armaan rushes back.."RIDHIMA.."-

And this time even though ridhima protests,armaan carries her in his arms...

U can imagine this song in the back ground..because well,I am listening to it rite now....

Kuch khaas hai..kuch paas hai..

Kuch ajnabee ehsaas hai..

Kuch dooriyan..nazdikhiyan

After a while...

"ridhima..agar tum thoda cooperate karo gi,aur aapna haath mere kandhe par rakhogi to aacha hoga..."

Ridhima hesitates..and is debating whether to agree or not..when armaan burning with impatience just tekes her hand and puts it on his shoulder...while ridhima looks on embarrassed...

Finally they reach the car...armaan makes ridhima sits on the car seat...and bends forward to take out the first-aid box...ridhima apprehensively leans behind..but can neither avoid armaan's touch..nor his perfume...she feels uncomfortable..she decides to tell armaan to move and comes ahead,at the same time armaan tries to get out..and they both collide...armaan looks at ridhima..and is completely lost in ridhima's eyes....admiring her beautiful eyes..but a strand of ridhima's hair keeps flying between his and ridhima's eyes,disturbing him....mean while ridhima too looks on apprehensively as armaan is glued there..and doesn't know what to do...armaan brings his hand forward and moves the hair..ridhima is completely surprised at armaan's action..but is still un able to think out a way of getting away from armaan..she seems to have forgotten that she has hands,legs and a mouth too..and she could use any of them..but she's just zapped..and un able to think any thing....

HONK HONK

The car horn finally brings armaan and ridhima in their senses...who are too embarrassed now to look at each other..after a second armaan tells her.."wo..wo...wo main apna hair style check kar raha tha tumhari aankhon mein..kya karu..itna handsome hun ki I just cant stop looking at myself...."

Ridhima gives him a disgusted look ...

Armaan gets the first aid box,and gives ridhima a pain-killer..then...

"ridhima apna pair aage karo.."..

"kyun...?"ridhima asks doubt fully..

"kat ke roasted chicken banaunga....uf oh...bandage lagaunga..."...and before ridhima can respond he takes her leg in his lap and applies the bandage..while ridhima keeps staring at him..all embarrassed..and doubtful seeing him act like a good boy....

"thanks..."..ridhima murmers...

HONK HONK

Ridhima and armaan look ahead...

"shayad hamare liye gadi hai..."...ridhima exclaims..and they go .....

THADDAM THADDAM
