Nupur lay over mayank, strangely conscious of his prescence. Her wet hair dripping water on his neck and corners of the cheeks. Mayanks hands on her waist and his eyes hollering into her eyes.
Suddenly mayank whispered- you disgust me....
As he said this, a strange shocked expression covered nupurs face.
And she quickly got up rubbing off the hues of water from her specs.
Nupur- kya matlab?
Mayank- tum kitna gir sakti ho, ye mujhe aaj pata chala hai!
Nupur- dont you dare... mayank... you...
She swallowed and was about to say something.
Mayank- tumhe kya lagta tum mere saath yun lovey-dovey act karogi, aur tumne jo kiya main tumhe us ke liye maaf kar doonga.
Nupurs eyes widened with disbelief.
Nupur- toh.. toh.. tumhe laggta.. ki... main tumpe jaan pooch kar tumpe giri?
Mayank- obviously
Nupur- you know what mayank, hum dono ki bhalai isi mein hai, ki hum ek doosre se baat na kare. Okay? So mr mayank sharma.. the silent treatment is officially on.
Saying this she ran off back home.

Dia and raunak quickly got up and started running off towards where they had left mayank and nupur. But when they reached there, they found mayank standing there alone rubbing off the water from his hair with a scowl on his face.
Dia- hey mayank. Wheres nupur?
Mayank- woh ghar chali gayee. Usko kuch kaam tha.
Saying this he also strolled off towards his place., leaving a confused dia and a suspicious raunak behind.
Raunak- bubbles main ek baat kahoon?
Dia- ya nicks?
Raunak- ye banda mujhe bilkul bhi pasand nahi hai. I just hate him. And believe it or not, im having an intution that somethings wrong, go home and check on nupur.
Dia- relax baba. Mayank ek bahut achha ladka, haan easily kisike baaton mein aa jata hai, but dil ka bahut saaf hai!
Raunak- whatever anyhow its late we,ll meet tomorrow in the lounge jahaan pe mechanical engineering ki classes hoti hai, okay? Subah sharp 8.30. us time full lounge khaali hogi. Meet you there sweets.
Dia- okay.
And they both walked off home.

Nupur and dia were both sitting in nupurs balcony talking.
Nupur- oh god, how romantic. You hugged lete-lete on the grass.
Dia gleefully nodded.
Nupur- phir kya hua?
She said nudging her sister.
Dia- arre kya kar rahi hai? Coffe gir gayee to?
Nupur- achha baba sorry. Batao na kya hhua? Mera dil bahut tez dhadak raha hai!
Dia- arre to imagine kar main kaise feel kar rahi thi tab. Gosh!
Nupur- dia bata na!
Dia- acha okay okay, phir hum log grass pe hi the obviously. But tab hi suddenly he came veryy close to me, and took my hand in his, uska forehead mere forehead se touch kar raha tha and he was like- dia i love you.
Nupurs eyes widened.
Nupur- he PRUPOSED YOU?
Dia- yaaaaa..... awesome na!
Nupur- oh my god. Phir tune kya kaha.
Dia- obviously maine bhi haan kardi.
Nupur- oh my god, this is so awesome. Raunak is my to-be-jhijhu! Wooww.... how exciting.

Mayank slowly sat there on his bench neatly taking out the photos of nupur from his paper bag, where he had crushed it and pressed it out and stuck them back on his notice board and started talking to the photo of nupur, in which she was wearing the white saari in farewell.
Mayank- nupur, tumhe kya ho gaya hai hun? Tum din pe din aur bhi mean aur materialistic banti jaa rahi ho. Aur tumne.. tumne to humara friendship promise bhi thod diya. Tumne mujhse dosti karte waqt promise kiya tha na ki tum kabhi mujhe silent treatment nahi dogi. Mana maine wo waada thoda, par tumhe thodne ki kya zaroorat thi haan. I hate you nupur, i hate you.
And as he said this tears rolled down his cheek.
Mayank- galat bhi tumne kiya.. aur suicide bhi tumne kiya, jab ki suicide to mujhe karna chahiye tha. Jo maine tumse pyaar kiya.......
