Part 11-

a- chal yaar chalte hai warna pata hai na shukla suna suna ke paka dega. Chalo.

So they all got up and started marching towards the class and they were soon joined in by 2-3 other classmates of theirs who were busy joking around with anna and patting keshavs stomach which was badly coming out.

As soon as they reached class, they all settled down. nupur and raunak on the 3^rd seat behind them were anna and kashi and in front of them were joel and keshav who were continuously sniggering.

Raunak quietly patted keshav on the head as he said-

Kya hua dude kal wala joke samaj aa gaya?

Keshav- haan

He said as though he had made the biggest achievement ever.

The rest of them started laughing madly, anna banging her hand on the desk as she laughed.

Raunak ruffled his hair and said- very good yaar we're proud of you. Excellent. Keep it up!

Keshav slowly sniggered as he said- thank you.

Raunak shook his head and looked down at the desk.

n- ye sach mein aisa hai ki bas stupid banne ki koshish kar raha hai?

Anna from behind- arre acting karne ki zaroorat hi kya hai.

And they all started laughing as anna and kashi hi-fived each other.

And raunak pulled nupurs cheeks.

As they were laughing, when mayank and his gang came in and took a seat in the row beside them. Mayank and gunjan just on the seat beside raunak and nupur. and dia and samrat behind them. Nupur could already feel the irritation and restlessness as he came and sat there.

She quickly turned to kashi and said- kashi aage aa ja. Mujhe yahan nahi baithna.

She said giving gunjan the coldest looks possible.

k- chal aaja peeche.

They both got up and exchanged seats. And nupur went and sat with anna who quietly put her hands around her shoulder. Seeing this dia made a face.

Anna noticed this and she passed nupur a note which said-

(I hate stupid girls munch)

nupur- who are you talking about?

suddenly anna made a venomous face as she said- I am talking about your evil step sister. and she started laughing like lunatics. Even nupur couldn't help but laugh at this.

a- waise tuje zyaada disturbance to nahi hogi?

n- kis baat se?

a- agar main tujhe notes pass karoon to?

As she said this nupur suddenly remembered how she and mayank used to pass notes to each other during the physics classes in 11^th. Well those were the good old days.

n- umm.. nahi…nahi hogi.

a-thank god!

Before they could utter another word, shukla came in.

Shukla- subrahat subrahat, baith jayiye.

As he said this everyone started sniggering since no one hd stood up for him.

Suddenly keshav put up his hand and asked- sir apne abhi bola na ki baith jayiye!

Proff. Shukla- haan to?

Keshav- sir par hum khade hi kahaan hue the!

At this everyone started laughing even more loudly.

Proff. Shukla- baith jayiye mahodaya.

As the class went on, anna and nupur passed each other notes, or raunak would turn around and started talking to anna and nupur.

r- yaar tum dono mujhe noted de dena. I have to copy them down.

a & n- ya sure no problem.

Mayank seemed strangely distracted the whole class, he kept looking at nupur who was talking to raunak and holding his hand, or he was pulling her cheeks and ruffling her bangs. He just couldn't take it. How dare she disobey him. He had told her not to talk to him, but why cant she ever listen, he thought.

Mayank shook his head, but yet he couldn't concentrate on his studies. It felt like a night mare, he thought. this had never happened to him before, he never felt distracted from studies ever. As he sat there with a pen in his hand and the book in his lap he felt himself getting irritated. It was as though someone was slapping him, everytime he saw raunak and nupur having any type of contact, even if they were only talking.

'I have to talk to her about this. This is not happening.', he thought.

when suddenly-

'mohadaya mayank sharma. Aapka dhyan kahaan hai!'

professor shukla burst out at him.

Mayank- sir..main.. wo main.. actually sir…

Proff- chup rahiye mohodaya mayank sharma. Aur baith jayiye. Aur yeh nazarein milane aur churane ka khel ghar pe kheliyega.

At this mayank turned red with embarrassment as he sat down.

When everyone had gone back to studying anna mimicked mayank and said in a low voice- aapka dhyaan kahan hai mohoddaya. Aap kisse nazarein mila aur chura rahein hain hun?

As she said everybody around started sniggering, even gunjan, dia and samrat giggled.

The class went by in all of raunaks gang teasing mayank on what shukla had just said.

After class, mayank was feeling very embarrassed. He quickly went into an empty classroom and sat down thinking- ye sab us nupur ke wajah se hua hai. Pata nahi kyu wo mere zindagi mein aayi.

Meanwhile nupur went straight to tamanna maams office and decided to take advise from the teacher.

n- tamanna maam. I really want to pull up my grades for this semester. Is there any extra credit work that I can do to pull up my grades and my rank.

t- well I think you can do the extra credit project work. But there are slight problems there.

N- what?

t- well firstly you have to submit them within a week no matter how many projects you take. And secondly you have to have 2 more members working on it with you.

N- that wont be a problem

She said as she remembered anna and raunak telling her that they needed extra credit too.

n- uh maam ek project ke liye kitne marks milte hai?

t- ummm 5 marks for each project. So kya socha hai. Kitne projects karne hai tumhe?

n- ill go for 6 projects.

Tamanna maam looked stunned at this as she said- are you sure?

n- yes maam.

t- ok then just give me the topics which you are gonna work on.

Nupur quietly sat down and made a list of 6 projects which she was best at.

She handed the list to her and was abut to leave when maam called after her-

t- nupur who are your team members gonna be?

n- uh anna kaushik and raunak manchanda.

t- alright take care.

Nupur quickly left. She quickly moved towards the library desperate to finish the project in a week anyhow. She was going when suddenly some one pulled her into an empty class room and locked the door behind her. she turned to find mayank staring at her angrily. He quickly started approaching her. as he moved one step forward, she would move back one step backward. She didn't even realize when she was pinned to the wall, with mayank tightly holding her hands forcing her towards the wall.

m- yeh sab tumhaari galti hai.

n- meri? Maine kya kiya?

m- agar tum un stupid freaks ke around na baithti to main yue na dekta ki w tumhe pareshan kar rahe hai ki nahi. All bcoz of you!

n- mayank look… sab teri tarah nahi hote hai, stupid and selfish. Jinko doosro ko rulane ke alawa aur kuch aata hi nahi ho.

m- listen excuseme. Mujhe sirf tumhaari fikar ho rahi thi.

n- then please. Meri fikar karna chod do. because its causing me more damage then its doing to you.

m- JUST SHUT UP! tum kitni deperate ho. Mera attention pane ke liye kaise kaise logon ke saath gumti ho.

n- oh please mayank. Tumhara attention! How dare you! Tum samajhte kya ho apne aap ko. Hun? Jahaan jaati hoon wahaan apni puri tolli leke pahunch jata ho. Tum to ho hi irritating aur welle. Aur tum mujhe desperate keh rahe ho! How blind can you be mayank? Desperate main nahi.. tum aur tumhari gunjan hai.

Mayank- gunjan ke bare mein ek shabd nahi. Alright!

n- shes just using you guys god damn it. Cant you see it. You blind fool. Shes already broken me apart from you guys and now its either you or dia whos gonna be out of the gang. Shes planned it all up mayank.

Mayank- oh right. So fake you are girl. Coming up with a sudden conspiracy. Fake bitch.

N- you know what mayank no point telling you. You're definitely not a kid. And I bet youll know whats right and whats wrong. And b the time you realize your mistakes, I wont be here in front of you apologize to. And believe me, that guilt will strip you down completely. I promise you!

And she pushes mayank off and is about to go when mayank pulls her close to him and he looks into her eyes deep and says in a cold and bitter voice- if I hadn't known what a petty liar you are, then I might have believed you on that!

And saying this he let go of her, and pushed her away and then he says- but NOW, I know better

Nupur could feel her eyes brimming with tearts as she said- mayank muje ek baat batao. Hum sab gunjan ke sath, nursery se hai. And we all specially youu knew what a bitch she was, and how wo apne fayede ke liye doosre ko use karti hai. Aur tum abhi meri baton pe uska vishwaas kar rahe ho. Seriously mayank, our lost somewhere down the lane mayank. I really hope you find your way back on the route before you get lost so deeply that even god cant stop you from going through the dangers that await you. I mean after all tum bade khushi se sher ke gufa main ghus ke baithe ho. Nahi!

And before mayank could say a word nupur left. It took him a few moments to sink in what nupur had just said. Was she telling the truth, was I wrong on trusting gunjan. Or was she lying like gunjan had said.

Will mayank find out the truth before its too late?

ya sure... abhi project pe der r gonna b loadsof fun scenes.. all 6 of them r gonna sit n help her complete it!
