"ouch………", Keerthi shouted with a pain and immediately changes the the channel. The movie has just just started after the break and a song was going on. She was watching that song, with her eyes popped and mouth wide open. Suddenly she gets another whack on her head. "ouch", she shouts and turns towards Milind, who was flipping a magazine. She glares at him angrily and then turns towards the tv. "what are you seeing that black thing", Milind commented seeing the song. "whose going to see the song. I'm just seeing for my Prince", Keerthi replied, raising her spirits high. "hey once see, Prachi that see got ready or not. It's almost time for the show." Milind requests Keerthi. "wait a min, during ads I'll go and call her." Keerthi replies still her eyes glued to the tv. "ok then I'll go and call her.', Milind gets up from there and was about to go inside, he sees Prachi coming out. She wore a plain pink colour salwar, without wearing any jewellery on it. Milind did not like her in that attire, but kept quiet and turned towards the main door, Prachi just followed him. The journey towards the multiplex was a quiet one. neither of them talked nor took glances of each other. Milind on the other hand found it difficult for him drive without putting sudden breaks, in Hyderabad traffic. Though the roads were empty on that Saturday, the autorickshaws that were in front of him was making him difficult to drive fast. He kept his temper under control and drove slowly. The main reason was he did not like Prachi's attire. He wanted Prachi to become normal forgetting her past, but seeing her attire he had concluded that Prachi was still in the past memories still mourning for Neev. few minutes later they reached Prasadz- Imax were the movie was screening. Milind parked the car in the parking grounds of the multiplex, along with Prachi. Then they made a slow walk towards the screen. Prachi was feeling out of mood not wanting to go out, but she was forcefully out due to Milind and Keerthi. Milind on the other side wanted to have a brighter evening trying to understand Prachi, he already had planned everything for that entire evening. He just wanted to show her the evening Hyderabad and that too on a weekend. But her attire without any jewellery and her gloomy face had upset him badly. He walked in casually, followed by Prachi, not knowing exactly where she was. Being a weekend the multiplex was crowded, so Prachi kept on going catiously back of Milind so she could not go missing in a new city. Milind slowly gets on the escalator, just ignoring that Prachi was with him. On reaching the second floor, Milind diverted his way, while Prachi who was back of him, dreamily started to get on to the escalator to the third.
"hey where are you going, you won't be allowed there without the tickets." Milind shouted from the back. Prachi immediately comes to senses and goes towards Milind. He just faces away from her and turns towards the entrance, looking at the people. "you are not allowed there until is fifteen mintues due to the show." Milind utters while leaning on the rails. Prachi was just scanning the whole new place, crowded with the people. Suddenly she feels a hand on her, then she immediately turns back. milind was handing her over the phone, " Ayesha", Milind said ignoring her. After talking on the phone Prachi returns back the cell, which Milind seriously tows into his trousers pocket, he then signals her to follow him and starts moving towards the screens. The movie started as soon as they took their places in their respective seats. Prachi was in no mood to watch the movie as she was getting the memories of Neev and the time spent with him. Seeing her Milind started loosing interest in the movie, from days of first promo of that movie Milind was eager, anxious and excited about seeing the movie, even though Keerthi asked him to see the telegu version of the movie , with the subtitles going during the movie, he avoided seeing it. He cursed himself for that. The movie started, and the flashback of the hero also started. Milind let out a big yawn, seeming not interested in the movie. He removes his cell from his trousers pocket and starts dailling some number, he then connects its to Bluetooth, "haa Keerthi, tell me the climax of the movie." Milind asked her in a whisper. Prachi did not understand why suddenly he was asking the climax, as before few hours he was shouting at Keerthi, fearing that she would reveal the climax. But she just ignored him. Two and half hours, both spent their time seeing the movie uninterestedly. The scenes in the movie was making Prachi, to remember Neev badly, especially, when the villain kills the hero's lover Kalpana. Prachi suddenly shuts her eyes tightly allowing the tears to drop freely on her cheeks. Milind who just turned to feel Prachi's presence, suddenly sees her shutting her eyes, he shooks her making her to open her eyes. "are you alrite." Milind enquired her seriously. "yeah." Prachi replied wiping her tears of, and turning her face away from him.
Atlast with great diffuculty, both saw the movie and got out the multiplex. They quietly made their way where the car was parked. It was already 6'oclock in the evening but it was looking as if it was night 9'oclock. Milind was very cautiously driving , in the heavy traffic. He did not understand from where did that much traffic come from, as it was empty, in the afternoon. He parks the car near "Coffee Day" and goes in. not knowing what to do, Prachi followed him quietly. They sat opposite to each other. Milind calls the waiter, "one………….ahhhhhhhhh……….", he then sees towards PRachi, "do you want tea or coffee" , Milind asks Prachi, but Prachi nods her head in a confusing manner, make difficult for Milind to understand. Get irritated to that, "two coffee." Milind orders. They sat quietly till their coffee came. Milind started sipping his coffee, while Prachi just sat gloomily, staring at the hot coffee. "how's the movie." Milind enquired, who he himself could not enjoy the movie. Prachi just nods her head side to side. Milind thought it was waste asking her. "are you planning to spend rest of your life like this", Milind had shot her question, but Prachi sliently lowers her gaze, pursing her lips tightly, trying to control her emotions. "did you ,that novel, what's that name………..haaaaaaaaaa……yeah Gone With The Wind, finished it." Milind added, after a long silence. "no", the voice from PRachi came out in a whisper. Milind then takes a piece of tissue paper from the table and blows it of. "do you know what this meant", Milind asked her. Prachi just nodded her head in negative. "gone with the wind." He lets out a small laugh, "wait I'll explain it to you", he pauses "I blew the piece of tissue it went off, with the air and never returned, you know what this meant", Milind asked seeing a puzzled expression on her face. "ok, I'll give you the perfect explanation for this. This tissue which I blew it flew away without returning back to it's place. It had forgot it's past place, just flew away and away settling in the new place. It's just a piece of non living thing. But sometime these things give us a lot of meaning to our lives. We have to do the same things with our lives. Leave the horrible past and start living the new life and enjoy it. I know it would not be simple. But we should try to adjust to new life. Past is past, it can't return to us, or we can't return to past, unless we invent a timemachine." Milind let out another laugh and sees towards Prachi's face, which is still lowered staring at the cold coffee. Milind takes another sip and continues. "and we can't spoil our future, still living past." Milind pauses, "are you listening to me." Milind conforms before he started off again. Prachi nods her head indicating that she was listening. "ok, I can give you a simple example. In that novel, Gone With The Wind. When the story started, that is before the war the author describes the county as full of greenery and glory. But you know in the middle of the story that is when the war was ending. That place was full of debris, skeletons, ashes and all. But people learned to live in that condition. They didn't stop living there becoz it lost it's glory, but struggled tolive a new life." Milind looked at her, sad face. "I think you should learn to live a new life. You can't simply, live in that past, which there is no hope of coming back. but learn to live a new life." Milind pauses, paying the bill. "anyways, why I'm telling you all this. It's your life, you should decide. Ok it's getting late lets go." Milind went towards the car. The rest of the journey towards their apartments were quiet, Prachi seeing the deserted road in that area while Milind's full concentration was on the road, praying that autorisckshaws would never come infront of his car. Once they reach the apartments, they both goes towards Ayesha house and rings the bell. Ayesha opens the door, and smiles at Prachi, 'I promised you that I would bring Prachi safely back. there she is.' Milind says AYesha stilling staring at Prachi. Prachi was about to go inside, "Prachi, are you going to think of what I said huh, think of it." Saying this Milind turns towards his house leaving Ayesha in a puzzled expression not understanding what Milind said to Prachi, making her to think about it……
