sorry for the late reply n thanks for the pm. i really liked the parts,the way u described their relationships is really awesome n it is realistic too. RM together already. liked anjali's and ridzy's characterisation. loved adi ridzy chemistry,think shouldn't be saying this everyone will kill me😆😆😆. but the parts are really awesome,but still waiting to see what the main plot is. continue soon n pm me.

PART 3

'So, looks like you and Muskaan sorted things out,' Armaan said casually as he took a sip of his beer. He and Rahul were lazily lounging on the sofas. They had taken up the responsibility of clearing up the place while Adi and Atul had gone to get some groceries and other necessary things for the house. They were now lazing around after about an hour of tirelessly working and cleaning the house.

'Yeah, we did,' Rahul said heavily, 'Thank God. I hate fighting with her,'

Armaan grinned as he glanced at Rahul, 'but you'll fight all the time,'

'I know,' Rahul said irritatedly, 'but that does not mean I like it!'

Armaan continued grinning as he watched Rahul sulking over his can of beer.

'Yeah yeah..laugh! Wait till you get a girlfriend...then we'll see whose the one laughing!' Rahul said sarcastically.

'Why do you think I'm still single? But seriously, I'm sure I won't fight with my girlfriend the way you do with Muskaan,' Armaan said, laughing.

'Not if your girlfriend is Riddhima,' Rahul said smugly.

Armaan groaned...Rahul had hit him right on target this time to get his own back against him...Armaan had really hoped that Rahul or for that matter any of the guys did not come to know about Riddhima liking him..because..well..it was just wierd!! specially when he didn't like her back the same way...she was just a friend for him..that's all...and yet, how stupid could he have been to even hope that Rahul wouldn't get to know? Riddhima was bound to have told Muskaan(after all they were best friends!!) and Muskaan would obviously have told Rahul...it was bad enough with him knowing that one of his friends liked him as a little more than a friend...the fact that all his other friends also knew about it...well, Armaan couldn't think of a worst scenario...still, he decided to pretend like he had no clue about what Rahul was talking about...maybe..just MAYBE Rahul didn't know anything and had just randomly mentioned Riddhima's name...Armaan knew that was probably hoping for too much but still...no harm in trying, was there??

'What are you talking about?' Armaan asked, trying to keep his voice even.

'Oh please...don't give me that shit!! you know Riddhima likes you,' Rahul scoffed.

'Yeah well, what am I supposed to do about that?' Armaan asked nonchalently...hoping that Rahul would leave it at that..however, today was just not his day...

'What do you mean by that?? she likes you dude!! you're the only one who can DO something about it!!' Rahul looked at him incredulously.

'I haven't really seen her in that way...she's just a friend,' Armaan said...why was Rahul dragging this topic so much?? why couldn't he just accept the fact that he did NOT like Riddhima?? why was everyone so hell bent on getting them together?? first Muskaan and now Rahul!! seriously, it was getting kind of annoying now!

'But why? what's wrong with her?? she seems OK to me,' Rahul persisted.

'There' nothing WRONG with her OK?? I just don't like her that way!! God!! why is it so hard for you'll to understand?' Armaan said angrily...

'Whoa!! OK dude...just chill..I was just saying...I mean, if you'll get together it would be cool,' Rahul said immediately pacifying Armaan as he realized how irritated he was regarding this whole issue.

'Yeah well...I don't know,' Armaan said slowly, already feeling guilty at just removing his frustration on Rahul..he had just been kidding around..just as Armaan had been a few minutes back with the whole Muskaan thing...

'Well, all I'm saying is that atleast give it a thought...she's a nice girl...' Rahul said quietly and then to lighten up the tense atmosphere, 'or else we can always set her up with Adi...'

Despite himself, Armaan smiled, 'Adi?? That's a long shot...they don't even talk,'

'They were talking today,' Rahul pointed out.

'Yeah, but you know Adi na? he's friendly that way...he talks and mingles around with everyone,' Armaan reasoned...he didn't mind the idea of Adi and Riddhima together and yet, as of now he couldn't see any sparks between them...moreover, he didn't think Riddhima was Adi's type...yes, he had been surprised when Adi had followed Riddhima today but that was probably to keep her company...that's how Adi was...he just gelled well with everybody...

'Yeah that's true,' Rahul agreed, 'Anyways, all I wanted to say is don't act any different with her just because you are aware that she likes you...just...be nomal around her...you understand what I'm trying to say right?'

Armaan nodded...Rahul had a point...he had unknowing built an invisible wall between himself and Riddhima..whenever he was with her, his defences were up...he was extremely conscious of what he was saying, of what he was doing...in order for her not to get the 'wrong ideas', he had unknowingly just clammed himself up...now that he came to think of it, he was always quiet and reserved around her...he hardly spoke to her...hardly mingled with her..like Rahul said, he had NEVER GIVEN HER A CHANCE...and that did not mean only as his probable girl-friend...he had never given her a chance as a friend...he had never given himself a chance to really get to know Riddhima...and that, he had to admit, was wrong on his part...what was the big deal if she had a crush on him?? as long as he made his intentions clear, he didn't think he had to behave so wierd around her...that's what Rahul was actually trying to say...and maybe he was right...maybe he should mingle around with Riddhima a little more...break down that wall he had created between them..be himself with her...she was a nice girl, after all...

'Riddhimaaa!! Ridzy!! tera phone hai!!' Muskaan banged open the door and glared at Riddhima who had put the music on nearly blasting volume and was sitting and writing something in her private diary.

'RIDZY!! TERA PHONE!!!' Muskaan bellowed.

'Oh...sorry...' Riddhima gave her a sheepish look and quickly reduced the volume of the music system in her room.

'Sorry Muski,' Riddhima mumbled again as she took the phone from Muskaan's hands.

Muskaan rolled her eyes. Riddhima Gupta would just never change...and who knew that better than Muskaan?? Riddhima and Muskaan had been friends for almost four years now...if there was anyone who knew Riddhima inside out, then it was Muskaan Grewal...Riddhima had joined Muskaan's school in Punjab after her dad had got a transfer there..she had had a real tough time initially as she had transferred mid-semester and at that point of time everyone had their own groups and friends...it was that time that the bubbly and talkative Muskaan had extended a hand of friendship towards the scared , lost and homesick new student. Riddhima would probably never be able to tell Muskaan just how much that hand of friendship meant to her at that time...she was alone, scared and totally new to the place, pining and craving for her own school and friends...she started hanging around with Muskaan and her other friends and soon she had made quite a few friends in her new school. However, she was always closest to Muskaan for obvious reasons...Muskaan had helped her out during probably the most depressing time of her life and she promised herself that she would do the same for Muskaan too..

When the time came for choosing universities, both Riddhima and Muskaan who by that time had become inseperable opted for the same university and decided to stay together in an accomodation close to campus...

'Hello?' Riddhima glanced at the time...it was one in the night...they had gotten back pretty late from Rahul's place...she wondered who would be calling her now at this time...

'Hey Riddhima. It's Aditya here.'

'Aditya?' Riddhima was genuinely surprised...since when did Adi start calling her? they were definitely on the 'talking casually on the phone' stage yet as far as their friendship was concerned...

'Yeah. Sorry for calling so late. Did I disturb you?'

Riddhima heard genuine regret in his voice and so smiling slightly, she decided to go easy on the guy and not make it awkward for both of them....

'No, it's fine...don't worry...uhm..did you need something?' Riddhima asked casually.

'Yeah, actually we were all planning to go to the beach tomorrow..you know, everyone was just feeling upto it...it would be great if you could come too...I mean, I would have asked Muskaan too but I think she and Rahul have other plans...anyways, you in?'

Riddhima thought for a split second before replying, 'sure...why not?'

Finally Rahul knocked some sense in Armaan ... looking for to AR becoming friends.

Ah ... Adi for sure has a thing for Riddhima.

Waiting to read what the beach party is to unfold. Oh yeah, is Anji joining the guys or its just Riddima with AAA - coincidence all the remaining names starting with A.

i would love it if like aditya and ridhima went out and armaan got jealous it would be really cool!!!!!!!!!!!
