Chapter 7A:
Present:
Next Morning At The Gupta's and Khanna's Residence:
Keeping all his belongings in the car for his basketball match,Rahul headed straight to his room.He was an active member of the Centre Club of Vasant Vihar,a sophisticated area of Delhi.Playing sports especially basketball was his passion along with his canvas and colours.He had been a sports champ in his school and college.Standing infront of the mirror,combing his hair his eyes suddenly fell on the clock.It was 9.30 am and he had to reach the club within an hour.Keeping the brush on the table,Rahul rushed towards the washroom and started banging the door.
Rah(shouted)-Bhaiya!!!!Bhaiyaaaa.....Bhaiyaaaaaaaa.....
Raj,who was taking a shower,got shocked and worried hearing Rahul's screams.He quickly turned off the shower,wrapping himself in his bathrobe hurriedly opened the door to find Rahul standing there with a sweet smile on which Raj become confused and irritated.
R(sweetly)-Rahul,mere bhai.....teri tabiyat toh theek hai na!??He touched his cheeks and forehead to check his temperature.
Rah(confused)-haan Bhaiya...mujhe kya hona hai!!
R(angry)-toh phir itne zor se darwaaza kyun bang kar raha tha....darwaaza todne ka irrada tha kya...!
Rahul giggled slightly but on Raj's stern look,he stopped.
R-kya Bhaiya...wo toh main aise hi....
Raj was shocked to hear this...first,Rahul bangs the door so hardly then screams on top of his voice...and when he comes out all worried....he finds Rahul standing there with a smile and now this......He shaked his head in disbelief and goes towards the bed.Taking the towel kept on the bed,he wipes his wet hair.
Rah-arre Bhaiya...wo kya hai na hume dair ho rahi hai..isliye maine darwaza iss tarah.....
R-ok..lekin isme itna cheekhne ki kya zarorat thi.....mujhe laga pata nahi kya ho gaya....
Rah-aap na Bhaiya...bina wajah pareshaan ho jaate hai......Raj rolled his eyes.
Rah-acha ab aap please jaldi karege...mujhe match ke liye late ho raha hai.......
R(smiles)-tu chal..gaadi mein baith...main aata hoon...
Rah(smiles back)-theek hai....
Taking the car keys from the drawer of his bedside,he headed towards the main door of the house when he heard Raj calling him.Smiling,he turned his way back to the room.As he entered,Raj was standing there with a stern and raised eyebrows look on which Rahul gulped.Pointing under the bed,Raj said:
R-ye kya hai???
Rahul slowly moved towards the bed and bent down to find his mobile lying there.Picking it up quickly,he turned to find Raj looking at him with a sarcastic smile.Folding his arms around his chest,Raj said:
R-toh Mr.Painter...aaj kya bahana hai???
Rah(innocently)-wo..wo..Bhaiya....kal raat ko jab main aaya na.....toh main kaafi thaak gaya tha...toh aise hi soo gaya...
Raj smiled shaking his head slighty....Rahul looked up to find Raj smiling on which he felt relieved and a small smile crossed his face too,as he felt he had had it from his elder brother today.
R-tu na Rahul...kab apni cheezon ka khayal rakhna shuro karega......teri ek bhi cheez jagah par hoti hai kya.....teri ye carelessness ki aadat ko na Muskaan hi theek kar sakti hai....aane de usse......On hearing Muskaan's name,Rahul's face lit up and he looked down embarrassed...on which Raj smiled.
Suddenly,Rahul noticed something kept on the bed.Smiling,he turned to Raj.Moving towards the bed,he picked up the towel used by Raj to dry his hair.
Rah(pointing towards the towel)-aur iss carelessness ka kya Bhaiya???
Raj was speechless....just now he was scolding Rahul for his habit of keeping things here and there.....and he himself.
R(looking elsewhere)-ummmm....ahemmm........Rahul laughed and then went to keep the towel on the cloth-stand.
Rah-waise Bhaiya....ab aapki iss aadat ko bhi theek karna padega......
R(suspiciously)-matlab!?
Rah(mischevious smile)-mujhe kya pata....ye toh aapko pata hona chahiye.....waise main toh theek nahi kar sakta isse.....shayad......umm...Bhabhi kar sake....
Raj looked up and saw the glint in his eyes.Confused & curious over what he was saying,
R-kaun????
Rah(teasingly)-ab ye bhi mujhse kya pooch rahe hai aap.....main thodi na jaanta hoon unhe......Raj looked down slightly disappointed while Rahul noticed that and giggled slightly.
Rah-ummm...ya phir shayad jaanta hoon.....ahemmm.....Moushmi di......Raj was shocked and he looked up immediately.Noticing his smile,Raj blushed slightly which didnt go unnoticed by Rahul.Embarrassed fully,Raj tried to change the topic:
R-chod na Rahul...hume dair ho rahi hai.....chal chalte hai.......
With that,Raj left the room and headed towards their car leaving behind a smiling and excited Rahul.
In An Hour Or So At Sanjeevani:
Muskaan was walking down the corridor deeply engrossed in the case file.Lost in the thoughts regarding the patient,she suddenly dashed a person and all her papers fell on the floor.
''I'm soo sorry Maam...maine aapko aate hue nahi dekha''.The girl apologized and started putting her papers in order.Muskaan helped her out too.
Mus-nahi..actually galti meri thi..main hi kahi khoyi hui thi.....She smiled and they got up after taking the file.A young,beautiful and smart girl was standing infront of Muskaan.Dressed in a white colour churidaar,she smiled on seeing the great Dr.Muskaan Ghosh infront of her.
"Maam,ye Mr.Khanna ki case history hai na!?''
Mus-ji...Dr.Mansi! Dr.Gupta ne inhe study karne ko kaha tha..so...
Ma-ohh acha..
Mus-waise aap bhi iss case mein unhe assist kar rahi hai na...!?
Ma(excitedly)-ji...Muskaan smiled on seeing her excited face.
Ma-acha Maam..mujhe rounds pe jaana hai...main chalti hoon...
Mus-ji...They smiled at each other and left for their work.While doing towards her cabin,suddenly Muskaan's cell started ringing.She picked it up.
Mus-hello!??
''Ji..main kya Dr.Muskaan Khanna se baat kar sakta hoon''?
Muskaan got confused and thought it was a wrong number as it wasnt a known number to her.
Mus-maaf kijiye...ye wrong number hai...
"Ji nahi..maine toh sahi number milaya hai...kya ye the famous psychologist Dr.Muskaan ka number nahi hai'?
Mus(confused)-ji haan ye Dr.Muskaan ka number hai jo psychologist hai....par aap shayad kissi Dr.Muskaan Khanna ko dhoondh rahe hai....main Dr.Muskaan Ghosh hoon..
Rah(smiles)-jo jaldi hi Dr.Muskaan Khanna banne waali hai......
Muskaan figured it out who the person is now....she smiled and blushed slightly.
Mus-Rahul!!!! aap bhi na....Rahul smiled imagining her turning different shades of red at the moment.
Mus-lekin aap ye kis number se phone kar rahe hai??
Rah-haan wo ye yaha Club ka number hai....
Mus-ohhh....toh aapka match kaisa raha??
Rah-bas abhi thodi dair mein shuro hone waala hai.....acha Muskaan mujhe tumse kuch important baat karni thi..
Mus-haan kahiye..
Rah-wo aaj na subah main Raj Bhaiya se baat kar raha tha toh.....He narrated the entire incident what happened in the morning regarding Moushmi.Muskaan could sense his excitement in his tone and hearing to all this,she felt very happy and excited herself too.
Mus-arre wah,Rahul....ye toh bahut acha hua.....
Rah-mujhe na lagta hai Muskaan kal Bhaiya aur Di mile the..kyunki jab kal Bhaiya ghar waapas aaye na toh bade khush lag rahe the...
Mus-haan Rahul,aap theek keh rahe hai....kal na Di bhi khoyi-khoyi si lag rahi thi....har baat pe muskurah rahi thi.......
Rah-hmmm..lekin main sachi bahut khush hoon....ab dekhna jaldi hi meri Di meri bhabhi bann jaayegi......Muskaan laughed slightly.
Mus-haan Rahul main bhi bahut khush hoon Di aur Bhaiya ke liye...aakhir unhe ab apni zindagi ke baare mein sochne ka mauka mil jaayega......
Rah-haan..acha Muskaan mujhe jaana hai..match bas shuro hi hone waala hai....
Mus-ok..all the best....
Rah(smiles)-thanks......Muskaan was abt to cut the call when she heard Rahul shouting her name from the other end.
Mus(worried)-kya hua?
Rah-ek aur important baat tumse kehna bhool gaya....
Mus-kya??
Rah(smiles)-I love you!!
Muskaan smiled and now blushed harder and simply cut the call.Rahul smiled and then went to play the match,while Muskaan headed to her cabin smiling..............
