Part 31:
The next day, everyone was busy with their last minute packing, clearing up the room, making sure all of them have their passport and ticket, and then checking out of the hotel. All of them were out of the hotel now, and were heading towards the airport. The airport was really far from the hotel, and half the time they were on a really lonely road, only surrounded by trees, with no other car on that road, and right then, their taxi stopped suddenly, and they got stuck in the middle of nowhere.
Armaan: Shitt yeh gadi ko kya ho gaya?
Rahul: Driver, what happened?
Driver: I don't know.
He got out of the taxi and opened the front of it, seeing smoke and steam coming out of it.
Driver: im sorry guys, but this taxi has broken down, you guys are on your own now, I need to go find a mechanic.
Rahul: But we need to reach the airport, our flight is leaving in an hour.
Driver: im sorry, I cant help you.
They got out of the car, and the taxi guy went walking to look for a mechanic, leaving them behind.
Atul: Lagta hai aaj toh wapas jaana cancel... yahan se toh humhe duur duur tak koi taxi nahin milne wali.
Rahul: You are right.. aur yahan pe toh dono sides sirf jungle hi hai'
Anjali: I think we should find a way to go back to the hotel, wahan pe hum phirse check in kar sakte hain.
Rahul: Haan lekin agar humhe abhi koi lift mil jaati toh hotel kyun hum airport bhi ja sakte hain... lekin wohi toh problem hain, na hi koi taxi hai aur na hi koi lift.
Muskaan: So ab hum kya karenge?
Armaan: Abhi toh hum kuch nahin kar sakte, humhe sirf walk karna parega jab tak koi car nazar aye.
They all started to walk and continued for 45 minutes, they all had become tired, and one thing is for sure that they wont be going to the airport anymore, there was no way they could reach on time.
Muskaan: Ahhh rahul, main takh gayi hoon, I cant walk anymore.
Rahul: Agar main takh nahin gaya hota toh main tujhe utha leta, but im sorry babe im also very tired.
Muskaan: Main aur nahin chal sakti.
She put her bags on the floor and sat on it.
Rahul: Mus, humhe chalna parega, tujhe idhar puri raat toh nahin guzaarni na? Toh raat hone se pehle humhe hotel paunchna hoga.
Muskaan: I know, lekin main aur walk nahin kar sakti.
Ridhima: Shes right, hum sab bahut takh chuke hain... aur bhook bhi lagi hai.
Muskaan: Bhook ki koi chinta mat karo, maine na hotel ke breakfast se kuch khana pack kiya tha, mere bag mein hai, ek minute.
She took out 2 whole boxes with cheese toasts, waffles, pancakes, and cereal also.
Ridhima: Wahh tu to badi smart hai muski.
They all attacked on muskaans food, and took a little break. Suddenly a car passed by and all of them got up and made the car stop.
Man: Yooo move out of my way!
Armaan: Ey please we need a ride.
Man: No no I cant give you a ride.
Armaan: Please we have missed our flight, we need to get back to the hotel.
Man: Which hotel sir?
Armaan: Palm beach hotel.
Man: No sir, that's way too far for me.
Armaan: Please, look at us, we are stranded in the jungle, you need to help us out.
Man: But...
Armaan: We all have our wives here, all of them are so tired.
Man: okay then come on in.
They all jumped in the car and each of them must have told the man thank you at least 10 times.
Ridhima: Oye armaan, main tumhari biwi thodi na hoon.
Armaan: Pata hai lekin jab maine usse yeh bola tab hi woh maan gaya, warna hum abhi tak wahi peh behte hote.
Atul: Ey armaan, raj ko phone karde ki hum aaj nahin a rahi hain, aur woh jaake principal sir ko bol de, warna tu principal ko toh jaanta hai na, humhe summer holidays main bhi kaam karwaega.
Armaan: Hmmm good idea.
Armaan called Raj (Raj is just a guy in their class who had come to Mauritius also.)
Anjali: Ek baat toh achi hai, ki humhe ek aur din milla idhar, so whats the plan?
Rahul: Abhi toh hotel jaenge, chek in karne, thoda chai shai peeke, shaam ko dekhte hai kya karna hai...
Ridhima: Yea good plan...
They all reach the hotel, and go and check in again, just taking two suites now, one for the boys and one for the girls. They go into their rooms, and agreed to meet at 4 o clock, and then they would decide what they were going to do today.
The boys room:
Atul: Wow yaar humme ek aur din milla yahan mauritus mein!
Armaan: Haan its rocking! Ab plan kya hai? Kahan jaana hai?
Rahul: Good question.... Hmm main soch raha tha... raat ko na, hummhe ladkiyon ke room mein jaakar thoda maaza karna chahiye.
Armaan: ohhh like that... so 10 o clock, girls room. Fine with me. Aur ab kya karen?
Atul: Ab kya karen...kuch karne ko toh hai hi nahin... hum sab thak chuke hai isiliye kissi ko bhi bhar nahin jaana hai.. lekin 10 baje kyun? Ab abhi hi ladkiyon ke kamre main ja sakte hai na?
Rahul: Ahhhh, that's also not a bad idea..
Armaan: let's go
They all go and knock on the door of the girls room, muskaan had fallen asleep but ridhima and anjali were awake. Ridhima went and opened the door and all three of them barged inside making a lot of noise.
Ridhima: Heyy shhh muskaan so rahi hai, please thoda dheere baat karo na.
Rahul: Muskaan so rahi hai? Oh no.
He went and sat right beside her, admiring her beauty in her sleep. She looked so innocent when she was sleeping. He would have let her sleep if everyone wasn't here, but now that they all were here, she couldn't just be sleeping there.
Rahul: Muskaan....
Muskaan didn't reply, she was fast asleep.
Rahul: Ey, yeh toh soh rahi hai....kya sone de?
Armaan: No re, usse utha na.
Rahul: Muskaan, jaan uth na please.
Muskaan started wiggling around but still didn't get up.
Atul: Ey itne pyaar se kyun bol raha hai, ek minute.
He went by muskaan, and screamed so loud in her ear, muskaan jerked up awake and was surprised to see them all in the room.
Muskaan: Ughh tum log yahan kya kar rahe ho? Aur Atul tu! Tujhe toh main chorungi nahin! Dekh lena.
Armaan: hum bore ho rahe the isiliye yahan pe aa gaye.
Muskaan: Hmpppfff okay.... ek minute.
She went in the bathroom and fixed herself. She washed her face and made her hair in a simple ponytail. When she came out, all of them were sitting on the floor.
Armaan: Ey muskaan hum tumhara hi wait kar rahe the, chal hum antakshri khel rahe hain.
Muskaan: Ohhhh, okay tum log ek team aur hum ladkiyan ek team okay?
Armaan: Sounds good, okay tum log shuru ho jao.
Muskaan: Pehli nazaar main kaisa jadoo kar diya, tera ban baitha hai mera jiya, jaane kya hoga, kya hoga kya pata, is pal ko milke aa jee le zara. Chalo A se gaana gao.
Armaan: Awww muskaan kya baat hai, rahul tunhe pehli nazaar mein hi? Huh huh?
Muskaan: Abhey chup. Aisi koi baat nahin hai. Ga na.
Atul: Main gaunga, Aa dekhe zaraa kisme kitna hai dum, chamke rakhna kadam mere saathiyaa. Wapas se A, anjali ab teri turn hai.
Anjali: Arrey re arrey yeh kya hua, maine na yeh jaana, arrey re arrey re ban jaye na, kahin koi afsana. Arrey re arrey kuch ho gaya, koyee na pechana, arrey re arrey banta hai toh, ban jaye afsana. Phirse A.
Atul: Wahh Anjali kya gaya hai tumne! Ey A nahin, kya hamesha A se gana parta hai, main B se gaunga. Bachnaa ae haseenooo, lo main aa gaya,hay ho bachna ae haseeno, lo main aa gaya, husn ka aashiq husn ke dushman apni ada hai yaaron se judaa, hai ho! O chalo, gao gao, O se gao.
Ridhinma: Om mangalam mangalam, om mangalam mangalam, kya pyaar kiya kambaqt ishq, main toh har gayi kambaqt ishq, mujhe maar diya kambaqt ishq, hai raba yeh kya ho gaya.
Muskaan absoulutely loved this new song of Akshay kumar in his new film kambaqt ishq, once ridhima started to sing, muskaan immidiatly got up and started dancing.
Muskaan: Oye tu gana kyun band kar di? Aur ga na. Kya pyaar kiya kambaqt ishq main toh har gaya kambaqt ishq, mujhe maar diya kambaqt ishq, hai raba yeh kya ho gaya, om mangalam mangalam.
She pulled everyone up and they all continued dancing and singing other random songs, they all were on full swing, enjoying their last day they had in Mauritius. It was so much fun, all of them in one room, fooling around, if anyone were to see them they would think that they are crazy, but they were having a lot of fun together. After a while they all got so tired by dancing around like maniacs, they all sat back down on the floor.
Armaan: Hah pehli baar maine itna dance kiya hai.
Muskaan: Hamare kamre mein roz aaya karo, hum tumhe aise hi nachaenge.
Armaan: Please hum kabhi bhi yeh ghalti nahin karenge.
Atul: Eyy yaar jokes apart, maza toh bahaut aaya, hum kitne pagal hai na, 6 people in one room, dancing, pata nahin log kya soch rahenge honge.
Muskaan: Logon ka kya hai? Hum toh waise bhi kal ja rahe hai. Anyway ab kya karna hai?
Rahul: Bhar jaana zaroori hai?
Armaan: Zaroori toh nahin hai..... lekin aur kya karenge?
Ridhima: Kissi ko bhi nahin jaana hai, yahan peh sab beht ke, maza a raha hai, aur phir badme room service order karlenge. Okay?
Muskaan: Yea sounds good. Kissi ko problem hai?
Atul: Noo mast plan hai.
Muskaan: Hum kitne lucky hai na, hum sab ek saath mauritius main, bhai mujhe toh bahaut mazaa aaya.
Anjali: You are right, hum sab ko bahaut mazaa aya. But its so weird na, aaj se kuch months pehle, jab college shuru hua tha hum ek dusre ko jaante bhi nahin' main aur ridhima hamesha saath hote the aur tum teeno ladke. Par jab se muskaan aayi hai, sab kuch badal gaya hai.
Muskaan: Ohh so you are saying ki yeh sab meri waja se hua hai?
Anjali: Relax, yeh toh achi baat hai na, abhi shahid agar tu yahan nahin hoti toh rahul ke zindagi main koi ladki nahin hoti.
Muskaan: Wahi tohh, Rahul ko sirf main mil sakti aur koi nahin, agar ab nahin, toh badme main aa jati.
Atul: Hmmm, lekin ab toh hum itne ache dost ban gaye hai, aur yahan pe aake toh aur bhi ache ban gaye hain.
Ridhima: Yea atul you are right, yahan pe itna maza aaya ki man hi nahin karta wapas jaane mein.
Armaan: Oyee, ek baar flight miss kar liya, dusre baar miss karne ka iraada hai kya?
Rahul: Waise idea bura nahin hai....
Muskaan: Oye shut up, hum kal hi ja rahe hain okay?
Atul: Yea yea relax... soo muskaan tum mumbai kyun aayi?
Muskaan: Plan toh parai ka tha, ki main yahan pe apni graduation khatam karun.... mujhe kya pata ki mujhe pyaar bhi hoga.
She looked at rahul, and they both smiled.
Atul: Awww how sweet. Patiala mein rahul jaisa ek bhi ladka nahin tha?
Muskaan: Nope... actually haan, ek tha, uska naam Rohit tha, lekin woh sirf mera dost tha, bachpan se jaanti hoon main usse.
Rahul: What? Rohit? Tune mujhe rohit ke baare main kabhi nahin bataya.
Muskaan: Ofo, woh sirf mera dost tha, aur jab se main yahan pe aayi hoon, ek baar bhi baat nahin hui. Thanks for reminding, jab hum mumbai paunchenge toh main usse phone karungi.
Rahul: Oyee terii toh.
He pulled muskaan close to him and grabbed her tight.
Rahul: Tu kissi rohit ko nahin phone karegi samjhi?
Muskaan: Abhey, tera chehra toh dekh, tomato ke tara lal ho gaya hai. Relax jaan, don't worry. God ur tooo cuuute.
Muskaan pinched his cheeks hard and all of them started to laugh to see Rahul being so jealous.
Rahul: Anyway, rohit jo bhi ho, mujhe koi parwaa nahin hai, tum Rohit ko phone karo, main Monica ko phone karunga.
Muskaan: Moncia kaun?
Rahul: Meri dost, bachpan se jaanta hoon usse. He smirked.
Muskaan: Tune mujhe Monica ke bare main kabhi nahin bataya.
Rahul: Tune bhi toh Rohit ke bare main nahin bataya.
Muskaan: Hamare college main hai?
Rahul: Nahin, woh dusre college main hai, lekin hum hamesha milte hai, kabhi woh mere ghar par, kabhi main uske ghar par, kabhi kabhi toh hum puri raat ek dusre ke saath bitate hain.
Muskaan: WHAT? Puri raat? Rahul....?
Rahul: Kya hua? Hum dost hai, ache dost.
Muskaan: Par.....main toh mazak kar rahi thi... koi Rohit nahin hai... lekin mujhe kya pata ki tumhare zindagi main ek aur ladki bhi hai.
Rahul: Oyeee main bhi mazak kar raha tha... relax... tera bhi chehra tomato ke tara lal ho gaya hai.
Now he started to laugh looking at Muskaan being jealous.
Muskaan: Ughhhhhh I hate you rahul!
Rahul: But I love you muskaan.
He gave her a small kiss on her hand.
Muskaan: Oyee bas jaanti ho main tera yeh pyaar vyaar ka natak. Anyways....
Atul: Chado yaar... so guys... ab plan kya hai, hum sab jald graduate hone wale hain... toh kya hum sab alag ho jayenge?
Armaan: No wayss.... aisa kabhi nahin hoga.... jab hum buddhe ho jayenge aur hamare bache bhi buddhe ho jayenge, tab bhi hum kabhi alag nahin ho sakte.
Anjali: Armaan sahi keh raha hai... anyway muskaan aur rahul ki toh jald shaadi hone wali hai na, toh kya graduation ke baad hum sab patiala jayenge?
Muskaan: Ey! Shaadi? Meri aur Rahul ki? Jald? Kisne bola?
Anjali: Toh kya, tum log shaadi nahin karoge?
Muskaan: Karenge, par abhi thodi na.
Rahul: Kyun?
Muskaan: Tujhe itni jald shaadi karni hai?
Rahul: Why not.
Muskaan: No way, hamari abhi parai khatam hogi, itni jaldi shaadi kaise kar sakte hai? Aur mummy papa ko tumhare bare mein pata bhi nahin.
Rahul: So... main tumhare saath Patiala aunga, aur tumhare mummy papa se milunga, simple.
Muskaan: Pshhh mummy ko pata chala na, toh woh toh mujhe maar hi degi, please rahul mujhe itni jaldi marna nahin hai.
Atul: Arrey, kya anab shanab bake ja rahe ho tum log, shaadi aur marna, what nonsense. Main toh ja raha hoon room main, mujhe bahaut neend a rahi hai. Byee.
Just went Atul was about to get up Muskaan pulled him back down.
Muskaan: Oye tu kahin nahin ja raha hai, pehli toh meri neend kharab kiya, ab toh main tujhe sone nahin dungi dekh lena.
Atul: Sorry muski... galti ho gayi lekin seriously jaane de na, hum raat ko phir millenge okay? Good night.
Saying this Atul left the room and slowely so did everyone else, armaan ridhima and anjali had gone to the restaurant and atul to his room, so behind were left Rahul and Muskaan.
Muskaan: Oh god, yeh log hamesha hum ko hi peeche chod jaate hai, hum hamesha akele ho jaate hain.
Rahul: Toh kya huaa?? Main toh soch raha tha ki hum kabhi akele honge?
Muskaan: Chup. Tum hamesha flirt karte ho, hamesha.
Rahul: Arrey? Tum ghusa kyun ho rahi ho? Okay chal hum bhi phir restaurant main chale?
Muskaan: No its okay
Rahul: Okay tumhari marzi.
Silence
Muskaan: Rahul, mujhe mummy ki bahaut yaad a rahi hai.
Muskaan had tears in her eyes now, she gets homesick once in a while and randomly she misses her mom so much, it sometimes happens also when she just spoke to her mom a while ago.
Rahul: Mus.... tu ro rahi hai?
Muskaan looked down and quickly wiped her tears.
Muskaan: Sorry woh pata nahin achanak se mujhe mummy ki yaad a gayi.
Rahul: Mummy ke paas main lekar chalun?
Muskaan: Na...
Rahul: Nahin bolna bhi mat. Hum mumbai paunch kar bags phirse pack kar ke
patiala chalenge okay?
Muskaan: Par.. tum kaise chaloge?
Rahul: Uhh... good point.. I dunno main kuch soch lunga, lekin tumhare aankhon main aanson main kabhi nahin dekh sakta. Toh isiliye joh meri princess ko chahiye woh hi hoga.
Muskaan smiled big and hugged rahul tight.
Muskaan: You are the best rahul.
Rahul: Woh toh hun.
