Part 5

Recap: Rahul and Muskaan have a cute post Valentine's Day date, due to a surprise by their friends. The rest of the gang arrives to join them and cut the cake.

Atul-(licking his fingers) Yummy! Ye cake to bohot acha tha!

Anjali- ya, gorgeous love Chocolate!

Muskaan was busy staring at the one piece of cake that remained, she gulped as she looked around, wondering whether anyone was actually interested in having the last piece.Rahul noticing Muskaan staring at the cake, served her with the piece of cake and gave her a delightful smile.Muskaan almost melted upon his smile and started digging into the cake.Rahul grabbed Muskaan's hand underneath the table, and held onto it as the group had a random discussion upon their favorite movie and all time favorite songs.Rahul and Muskaan continued staring intently at each other, without participating in the conversation.Muskaan was intent in listening to the conversation occurring,but Rahul couldn't keep his eyes of Muskaan and continued flirting with her.Muskaan glared at him and kicked him under the table,encouraging him to actually participate in the group conversation.

Rahul-Umm(looks at Muskaan)So Nikita,woh kahani sunao na!

Nikita-Abe yaar, tum mere peeche hi pad gaye ho!

Armaan-(laughs)Come on yaar!Please for my sake

Nikita-Okay Okay fine, Well tum logo ko pata hai na ki main ek ladke ko bohot chahti thi,or I wasn't completely over him.So that's where Abhimanyu comes in.

Abhimanyu-(trying to avoid the details)Well ha,Hum main toh you know constantly ladiyaa,jhagre vagera sab jaari tha,aur na jaane kab yeh pyaar ho gaya.Ek raat Nikita night duty pet hi,aur well I was at Sanjeevani too,aur well maine use confess kiya,aur usne bhi confess kiya.Thats seriously it.Nothing big, frankly pretty ordinary!

Nikita-Aur phir hum ne tum sab ko bataaya.Unlike sum people we were not secretive about it.

Ridhimma-Uffo, hum ne finally toh aap sab ko baataya na!

Nikita-Ha,par who to che mahine hone ke baad bataya!I mean ye alag baat hai ki main in advance jaanti thi,because I am Armaan's friend,par ye baaki sab logon pen a insafi hui.How dare you guys!Look your sister didn't even know about it!

Rahul chuckles upon Ridhimma being defensive about why they did not confess earlier.Nikita and Ridhimaa continue to debate about why Armaan and Ridhimma should have told the group earlier.

Rahul-(clears his throat)Guys chalo we should go home now,kal hospital bhi jaana hai and stuff.

Anjali-Rahul tum kitne boring ho gaye ho,raat ke sirf dus baaje hai,comeon or ye place toh hamne aneways hire kiya hai,so whats the hurry?

Rahul-Nahi main toh sirf generally keh raha tha.

Armaan-Ok guys lets dance!Aneways yaha bethe bethe bore ho rahe hai,toh lets dance,partner changing style,aap sabko ye game pata hai na,music changes partner changes.Lets have fun!

Rahul woke up,and looked around trying to recognize where he was,he then realized that he was back in India and shook his head remembering last night's pleasant memories.He remembered their dance,the environment and especially how enchanting his girlfriend was looking.He sighed deepily and shook his head as he realized he was desperately longing for coffee.He headed towards the kitchen,where his mum sat sipping on some tea and eating some biscuits.

Rahul-Ma,kal Padma Aunty key yaha maza aya na?

Rahul's mom-Haan bohot mazza aya,haamne Ridhimma ke liye sab kuch pick bhi kar liya,jewellery wagera,afterall shaadi aa hi gayi hain,ab sirf dhaie hatfte reh gaye hai uski dholi uthne main.

Rahul-Hmm(he nodded, as he wondered how Muskaan would look in the wedding costume,he imagined in her in the red lehnga,smiling as he came back to reality.)Maa Muskaan utth gayi hai?

Rahul's mom-(laughed)Bad I fikaar hai uski?

Rahul-Mom!(rolling his eyes)

Rahul's mom-Pata nahi beta,jaake use utha ,abhi tak wo toh yaha kitchen main aayi hi nahi hain,maybe wo so rahi hogi.Jaake uttha use.

Rahul-Ok main use utha ke aata hoon.

Rahul dragged himself up the stairs,and opened the door to her room.Muskaan was wrapped up in a towel and drying her hair with a blow dryer, Her curly locks lay open as dried them.She was humming a song and virtually growing crazy.Rahul leaned on the door with his mouth lying wide open, however the door could not bear his weight and shifted further back,making a loud noise.

Rahul-Mus,Mus (he tried to speak further, but he was speechless looking at her beauty he scanned her from head to toe.)

Muskaan-(screams)RAHUL!Tum yaha mere room main kya kar rahe ho?,batameez, uff yeh mera kaambra hain,ek laadki ka!Kabhi knock kar ke aana seekha hai??(she urgently approaches him and attempts to drag him out of the room.)

Rahul-Par mujhe laga ke tum so rahi ho!(resisting)

Muskaan-Well dekh liya!Main toh wide awake hu..Ullu,Idiot!Main abhi tak ready bhi nahi hoon,gosh main tumhari biwi nahi hoon,jao yaha se!

Rahul-Haan Par...

Muskaan-Chalo niklo yaha se!Niklo Niklo,(pushes him outside the room and angrily shuts the door.)

Muskaan shut the door with a thud,and started screaming.She felt like yelling the crap at Rahul,she was one all for personal space and he had just entered her room with her only being wrapped up in a towel,which barely made it to her knees.She wanted to scream like hell,she cursed him at the back of her mind and hastily grabbed a salwar kameez from her wardrobe.She urgently put the dress on and made sure that it was proper.She sighed as she realized what a bad starting to a day it was.

Rahul was still shocked and mesmerized by her beauty,flashes of her drying her hair and smiling ran through his mind.He was ultimately surprised by her subtle beauty,and was shocked that she was actually yelling at him.He headed back towards the kitchen,where he with a dazed expression made his coffee,and ate his cereal.Nikita quickly rushed in as she grabbed her toast out of the toaster,and quickly nibbled on it.She noticed that Rahul's mind was elsewhere and wondered what was wrong with him.

Nikita-Hello!Rahul,kuch bolo na!

Rahul-Umm Kaisi ho Nikki?

Nikita-Good,Rocking!Kal bohot mazza aya.

Rahul-Ha!By the way thanks a lot,jo kuch bhi tumne mere aur Muskaan ke le kiya!It was just stupendous.

Nikita-Thank you Thank you,Ok well chale Sanjeevani warna late ho jayenge.By the way ye Muskaan kaha hai?

Muskaan rushed down stairs,skipping steps along the way,half tripping on the last step.She adjusted her duppata as it started falling of her shoulder revealing her collar bones,With a raging temper she entered the kitchen,opened the fridge and grabbed a glass,pouring milk into it.Rahul stared at Muskaan,as though he would never get over what he had just seen.Muskaan's temper was boiling even more as she noticed him glaring at him,she was resisting the urge to slap him at that very moment.

Rahul-Hi!

Muskaan-Baat mat karo mujhse!

Nikita-Whats wrong guys?

Rahul and Muskaan- (angrily look at Nikita)Kuch nahi!

Rahul's mom-(laughs upon the expression of the two)Nikita beta,ye dono toh bachpan se hi aise hai,choti choti baat par lad te hai!

Nikita-Really?Aneways chale guys?

Rahul quickly started the car.Muskaan came and sat in the backseat,which infuriated Rahul even more.He quickly gestured Nikita to come and sit up the front.Muskaan immediately looked away and started staring out the window.Rahul was loving this fight more than ever.He knew that it was his fault that he had entered her room at the wrong time,thus he wanted to apologise,but right now he was going to let her be angry at him.

Muskaan-Chodo mera haath,main uss type ki ladki nahi hoon.

Rahul-Maine ye thodi hi kaha?

Muskaan-Well tumne aaj subah meri room wrong time pe kyun enter ki?

Rahul-Main tumhe uthane ke liye aaya tha!

Muskaan-Well to tumne main aisi haalat main hu,yeh dekhne ke baad atleast darwazza band kar dete!

Rahul-Well next time tum DO NOT DISTURB!ka board lagva dena.

Muskaan-Hmmph (she walked away still pissed off at Rahul.)

In the canteen

Rahul had conned Muskaan into drinking coffee with him by telling Armaan to tell Muskaan to join him for coffee in the canteen.The situation had calmed down now,and the two sat chatting about it.

Rahul-Oye dekho main koi aisa waisa type ka kadka nahi hoon,main toh tumhe maa ke kehne pe jaagane ke liye aaya tha,aur yaha scene kuch aur hi tha, to main kya karoon?

Muskaan-Idiot,besharaam atleast realization hone par darwaaza toh band kar dete,instead yaha ghoor te hi jaa rahe the.(rolling her eyes)

Rahul-Jeez I'm sorry!Galti ho gayi maaf kardo (holds his ears)

Muskaan-Hmmph

Rahul-Sorry!Next time main knock kar ke aayonga!

Muskaan-You better,warna main tumhe jaan se mar daloongi!

Rahul-I promise ke main next time knock kar ke ayoonga.Waise tum bohot sexy lag rahi thi!

Muskaan-Rahul!Line mar na band karo!

Rahul holds her hand and kisses it.Muskaan blushes upon thinking about the whole incident.

Muskaan-By the way,aaj hamaari appointment hai.

Rahul-Kiss se?

Muskaan-Wo,Bhaiya ko Rehabilitation centre main ja ke milna hai,unke doctor se and stuff..Kyunki agle hafte who waha se nikal ne waale hai na.So just discussing the case and stuff.

Rahul-Ok kitne baaje jaana hai?

Muskaan-Actually maine already Gabbar,I mean doctor Keerti ko poonch liya,Saade Panch ki appointment hai,in return we wil have to work longer tomorrow,kyunki kal hospital staff short hai.

Rahul-Okay No problem!Waise tumhe paata tha ki main tumhe manaoonga?Isilye Gabbar ko in advance bol diya?

Muskaan-Rahul main tumhe bohot aachi tarah se jaanti hoon,tum definitely kuch tarkeeb sochoge mujhe manane main,ye mujhe maloom tha.

Rahul-(laughs)Ok! so main tumhe panch baaje parking lot main milta hoon,ab mujhe bohot kaam hai,so we will go from there.

Muskaan-Aise keh rahe ho jaise main kaam hi nahi karti!

Rahul-(laughs)obviously!Tum to mer bare main hi soch rahi hoti ho!

Muskaan shakes her head in disbelief as to what he was thinking and gets up and leaves the canteen

In the parking lot

Rahul had already started the car,waiting for Muskaan to arrive,he quickly cranked some music up.Muskaan approached the car hastily,whilst half tripping on the footpath.She angrily opened the car door and shut it with an impact that shook Rahul out of his daydream.

Muskaan-Chalo ab,kaha khoay hua ho?

Rahul-Hmm,chalo.

The two sat in deep silence,as they made their way through traffic,Rahul noticed that Muskaan was not her usual self,and was wondering whether he should inquire whats wrong or not.She sat in silence staring out of the window,slightly stressed about the meeting.

Rahul-Kya soch rahi ho?

Muskaan-(shakes her head)kuch nahi!

Rahul-Don't worry Muskaan main tumhare saath hun!

Muskaan-(looks at Rahul)ya mujhe pata hain.

Rahul-Toh give me a smile.

Muskaan-Rahul!(sighs)theek hain(smiling)Happy?

Rahul-Much more better(he gently laid his left hand on her hand as he drove.)

Muskaan-Rahul!theek se gaadi chaloy.

Rahul-Abe yaar,theek se hi to chala raha hoon.Kya main tumhara haath nahi pakad sakta?

Muskaan-(smiles,and does not respond)Dekho aa gaye!

Rahul and Muskaan make their way into the rehabilitation centre,with an eager Muskaan taking in the surroundings of the pleasant environment.

Muskaan-Hamari Dr Apoorva se appointment hain!(to the receptionist)

Receptionist-Okay,tum waha betho the doctor will be with you in 5 mins.

Muskaan-Ok!

Muskaan sat down,noticing magazines on the coffee table.She picked a random one up and started flicking through.Meanwhile Rahul stared at Muskaan who looked adorable whilst reading.Her eyes grew large as she happened to read a shocking news,and small when she read a disturbing one.Finally the receptionist told the two to make their way into the doctor's office.Rahul opened the door and like a true gentleman gave way to Muskaan.Rahul closed the door behind him and took a seat next to Muskaan.

Dr Apoorva-Hello Muskaan!So kaisi ho?

Muskaan-Theek hoon.

Dr Apoorva looked at Rahul,a bit surprised to see him there,she gave him a questioning look and looked towards Muskaan for an explanation.

Muskaan-Umm ye mera,umm dost hain,you know good friends.Mere saath hain Sanjeevani main,Dr Rahul.(Rahul looked at Muskaan,half not expecting that answer,and turned away in anger.)

Dr Apoorva-Oh I see,(looks directly at Muskaan)well tumhe sirf isilye boolya tha,kyunki I think your brother is all set to go next week(folding her hands),par tumhe pata hain ki aise drugs vagera ki cases baadi sensitive hote hain,aur you need to keep him under check.Uska bohot khyal rakhna hoga,specially uski activities par watch rakhna hoga.You know the deal,maine saare instructions type kar ke rakh deeye hain,aur haan he will have to come to regular counseling sessions with me.Aur that should be about 3 times a week.Kyunki uski halat critical nahi hain,par baadi sensitive hain.But,your brother sure had a speedy recovery,I mean he was here for nearly 4-5 months.I think ki who ready hain baahar ki duniya ke liye.So all the best!

Muskaan-Thanks,waise wo discharge kab hoga?

Dr Apoorva-Umm actually mera ek suggestion tha,kyun na tum log like is hafte use ek din ke liye kahi le jaayon,aur agle haafte do-teen din, so use ajeeb na lage,ki who bahaar ki duniya enter kar raha hain.Ok so for a day,tum Friday ko use lene aana,and then drop him back in the evening.He just needs your support.Ok!(gets upto lead them out the door)Well Friday ko milte hain!aur by the way nice to meet you Rahul (shakes his hand),aur bye Muskaan see you later.(flashing a smile)

Rahul and Muskaan shut the door behind them and an angry Rahul looked at Muskaan.Muskaan gulped cause she knew any moment he was going to torment her with questions,she unwillingly decided to keep quiet.

Rahul-Muskaan,sirf dost?(grabbed her arm tightly)
