alrite first his entry...ahh!!! made no secret of him eyeing the belle...and than his outright blunt answer regarding south loosing war.....this thing about having a practical approach in life...he didn't let his emotions cloud his logic unlike all other fools and though ashley too knew it he was a big time sissy and couldn't say it...applaud rhett for voicing what he truly felt and to see him still fight for his country when South was on its knees, totally lost...he fought for his country and knew he won't be able to help still the gesture was amazing...the courageous, hard practical man i loved...and yet to see this soft spot in him that he ran to aid his comrades....WOW...and than the scene btw him and Scarlett...oh man!! that just did it...the charming charlstone dude had me mesmerized...
And you, Miss, are no lady. lmao...that was nice...and when he says 'to get my life endangered is too much' something like that i thing...too good and than when he meets her at the fare, the dance, the way he bid for her....dude oh dude....this attached a royal side to him that i loved and when he tells her that when you are rich enough you can do without a reputation...u know nj how he was always so blunt....if i ever meet a guy as blunt and frank as that... who says what he feels without a care for the consequences...i know i would trust him with my life and then when he returned Melanies ring....it was again WOW...it showed that he a nice human being who unlike the entire world doesn't make a show of exactly how nic he is..he gives them enough reasons to gossip and when he does a good deed he does it secretly or atleast not trying to get anyone's attention...and when he tells Scarlett 'I want you more than i have ever wanted any woman' this again showed his feeling...true feelings for her which she conviniently over looked and if she did notice she categorized it with those fool who follow her around like puppy dogs...it was the passion of a real man....passion at its best...untamed and yet pure....he confessed without any frills and fancy but he knew if he told her she would break him and his heart... she tells him to leave but when she wants to go back to Tara...he is back to help her but than left her in the middle to aid his country but not without confessing his love and when he says we are one of a kind both selfish and shrewd and also says but we are able to look things in the eye....that's another one....he was the only man who could look things in the eye and face them like a man....oh when he tells Scarlett 'thats what the problem with you...you need to be kissed badly' lmao....dude...the guy is superb...and you know when he proposed marriage to her and when her eyes gleamed and he knew she was thinking of Ashley just to think about his heart breaking into a million pieces in that one moment and the way he roughly kissed her...that was a real man there and than when he asked her why you marrying me...she said i do like you but its for your money....to think the brusies he had and still went on wearing a smile, all carefree just with the hope that he would win her love someday...now can you find a man like that...who loved a woman so selflessly with his mind, heart and body surrendered....knowing she doesn't love him and yet he went on bringing the world down on her knees, pampering her like a little baby and loving her like a woman...an equal and letting her keep the mills knowing they instrumental in letting her meet Ashley but he let her keep them coz it made her happy...than when Bonnie came...he had a new world to himself...he showerd her with immense love...ready to do everything for her and when Scarlett told him that she didn't want any more kids...he knew the reason was Ashley and than his anger took the better of him and when he said 'if he wanted her no lock would keep him out' that was again another side to him revealed...it actually showed his hurt...the wounds he was nursing but than he never approached her after that but than he came to know about her and Ashley's hug and he dragged her out of bed and took her to Ashley's b'day party...amazing there and that night when he said to her 'he wants her mind and doesn't care about her body' his pain was so visible...'i swear tonight there will be only two in my bed' or something like that...he always knew that Scarlett thought of Ashley even when with him...now imagine to bear that...oh man!! he was awesome yaar to have still go on loving her but when the next day he went to Charlestone and when on coming back Scarlett fell off the stairs...there i felt a little mad on him...that for the first time he couldn't read her eyes...her heart but than a man as rough as him...broke down completely...cried non stop with his heart and mind in shambles...he waited for her to call him jst once and than he cried with his head on Mellie;s lap...omg that scene had me crying with him...my tears won't stop...i fell deeper in love with him yaar...it was amazing...you know nj pa tells me that not every person is capable of feeling emotins this strongly...only a few people can...and if you think you can, congratulate yourself...its a great acheivement...a heart as strong as iron and as soft as flower is needed to feel this strongly (did you get that??) he did feel all the emotions in him...a real man he was...and Scarlett...he loved her selflessly, forgave her for everything and wanted a new start....bonnie was his real support and than he built back his reputation...a great father...i respect him for that...the way he did all that to see his daughter getting all the respect and being accepted everywhere...but when she died...he didn't let them bury her...imagine ya!!... and than when Scarlett finally realised she had always loved him...he was not ready to gamble his heart a second time...to think of all the pain he had been through...it was too much for him to take and he backed out this time...
Oh man Nj i loved everything about him...his heart, the charming personality, the magnetic aura....the passion in him...the emotions...and i loved him coz he never really gave a damn...lmao...
