Hey Sam ... well apart from part XXIII update, I loved reading your comments - story of Tantalus, French clan, etc :) I actually scrolled to the end after seeing Tantalus reference to see if you have added any link. I just love to listen to mythological stories and at times miss my Nani as she use to tell me loads when I was a kid 😔 Anyway ... moving out of my nostalgia ... one more quick addition to your Bandra list can be the air-bridge that has come up just recently. And believe me ... like any other road-side shopping places in Mumbai, this bridge is bustling with people buying all sorts of goodies ... a better version of Santacruz station bridge.
About the update ... love you for not making it all mushy-mushy and keeping it realistic between AR. For a change, Armaan was doing all the talking which was good. 😆 I just hope though, nothing serious with Mr Shashank and this just proves to be one more incident that will help strengthen AR relationship further. The Tantalus reference is hilarious ... how can this lady change something so serious into fun??? Loved the light and humorous exchange between AR.
About Atul, am intrigued ... all his arguments of being friends and not able to see any of his friends unhappy are fine. But is it just that??? Seems he also needs to clear his thoughts. Maybe something else going on in his mind about which even he is not aware.
Ok ... DMG time now ... so gotta go. Have fun and take care.

Cheers,
Suvarna

I am terribly delayed with my comments, and I apologise for that Sam. Have just been a bit pre-occupied with some matters and then of course yesterday I was wallowing in my grief that Federer lost the Australian open, though a well deserved win by Nadal nonetheless. Not every day can be the same, and the better player triumphed on D day. And it was just a beautiful snowy day today…after a very long time we had a proper snowy winter, coz of which schools, colleges were closed…so had just been enjoying the snow the whole day...Oh well let me get back to the matter in hand, and start the comment from where I left of.

Part 19 left me feeling so nostalgic…I doubt there is a single person who has not had a conversation on love with their friends; it's a part of growing up and college/uni life. Poor Ridz was left in a predicament yet again, but she smoothly got out of this one. What I liked the most in this part was that their thoughts on love were synonymous to their character sketch. I would have expected nothing less, than the said answer from Armaan when asked about his thoughts on Scarlet. I absolutely loved the Muskaan- Rahul interaction, and can only imagine her finishing with that one liner to recuperate from that uncomfortable situation. Anjali's answer reminded me of one of my fav quotes by Shakespeare "In time we hate that which we often fear". This was the first thing that came to my mind while I was reading Anjali's answer. It somehow fits her situation…I mean deep down…I think she is aware of the situation, yet decides to overlook it to suit her.

I agree with both Rahul and Armaan…actually come to think of it, I agree with all…coz the idea of love is different for everyone; it has a different meaning to one and all. But on the personal front, I am inclined more towards Rahul and Armaan…I feel that hope and love go hand in hand…one is incomplete without the other… "Hope is the candle and love is the flame; one is incomplete without the other" Credit for this line goes to my sister... I can understand why you chose that line for Atul; for him friendship matters the most…In friendship you find love...I wish you had elaborated a bit more on Atul's reply though. Ridz's explanation sure was very opulent, you definitely are remarkable with words, it's not an easy thing to put it in to writing…but you make it look so easy… Robert Frost's quote was a nice touch…

Anjali's outburst was not a surprise at all…no matter how wise you may have become or how old you've grown…sometimes you end up doing or saying something foolish, which you regret later. I am glad you made sure that you wrote about Anjali's regret. "Clearly love is an explosive emotion......" and I think that is the reason why I do not like Ankit…he just does not know when to keep his mouth shut...

Between Muskaan and Ridz, I have always found Muskaan's character to be more vocal, rather than Ridz; she comes across rather emotional.

Part 20… was by far the best update in all the ones I have read in terms of character context and the conversation of RM and AR, but even more than the conversation of the two. It was Anji's part that you can take all the credit and accolades from me. According to me Atul and her are your best sketched out characters. The scene between Armaan and Ridz was very naturally written; her anger directed towards him, his perseverance. Finally the cat is out the bag; now at least both can stop feeling jealous and guilt of hanging out with each other. Well at least the consequence of not refuting the rumours, are dawning upon Armaan…well sooner rather than later. The whole conversation seemed to flow with such ease… I am so glad that it wasn't an overtly emotional part; it just wouldn't stay true with Ridz's character. That is the best part about your writing…it's very much expected yet unexpected…like the way you steered a sad conversation in to a happy one…

The Rahul- Muski conversation was so adorable, oh how I wish Ridz hadn't intruded…may be we would have witnessed Rahul confronting Muskaan…just may be…or am I being very hopeful here…lol. Rahul definitely is the more sensible one out the three musketeers…what day was it that day?? Dropping bombshells on Ridz day…Armaan…then Muski…

Like I said before…Anjali's part by far takes the crown for this part…I absolutely have no words to say…well I do… but right now I can't seem to think coherently…blame it on the old classic Hindi songs I've been listening to… and I also have a few things to do before I hit the bed with my book. So I'll return soon…to finish of commenting on Anjali's part and the rest of the remaining parts. Well hoping to be back before you update another part.

Tc🤗

Love

Huma

Hey Sam! My apologise once again to nto commenting on the last two parts, thank you for still con't to PMin me for ur parts, it really means a lot!.

Hmm just read the last two parts in a go, and must say the date was certainly full of charm, with sweet teasing at the side. Really did warmed my heart of AR interaction on their date.

Hmm I think Angi is still in thought of still of making Armaan as her BF, I hope Atul really does clear out misconception soon, or I sense things will get worse!

Awesome update Sam!! And talking about Richelieu I just finished a 1500 word essay on him, lol. He's everywhere I suppose lol

Take care
