Part 7 B
Ayesha stood in front of Michi's house. She took a deep breath and rings the doorbell. She stands there for a long time waiting for someone to open the door. Few minutes later Prachi opens the door, her hair was still wet indicating that she just had bath. Seeing Ayesha there she gets excited and hugs her. "did you forget me.. no phone no message from you", "that's why I came to see you." Ayesha and Prachi made comfortable in the sofas. "I'll bring tea for both", Prachi was about to go, but Ayesha stops her. "hey, after a long time we met and you want to go and get tea, that's not fair. Actually I just had my tea before coming here. So what's up how is your life going on", "ya, I'm ………I'm happy……….", Prachi gives a forced smile. "but your eyes are telling some thing other. Are you sure that you are happy with your marriage." " ya I'm happy." "don't lie to me Prachi, I know there's something between you both that disturbing you. Can't you share with me?" Prachi thought she could not hide anything from Ayesha. She thought it would be better to tell about their relation. "it's almost a month Ayesha", Prachi started, "we still didn't talk to each other. Actually…………….", she looks towards Ayesha and continues, "I don't know how to start talking with him. I think he's trying to ignore me, from time to time. I ……..", "are you both gone mad. What mess you'll both created in your lives. Are you both going to spend rest of your lives like this. Anyone should start this, if not him , it must be you. I didn't expect such thing from you Prachi. You know what, you are making hell out of your lives.
Ayesha saw Prachi was about to cry. " I did not meant to hurt Prachi, but you can't mess up your life like this. You once talk to him and break the silence between you both. Then you see what your life is" seeing that Prachi was listening to her, she continues.. "Prachi, Milind is dumb, he don't how to behave. So if start talking to him, he can't ignore you." Prachi slowly smiles and nods her head in acceptance.
Milind was driving slowly towards his house that evening. He didn't feel going home so early. His life became more boring after this marriage. Even though he felt Prachi's presence in the house, it did not make any difference because of their silence. Today he felt that someone in their house was worrying about their lives. He did not understand why Ramu kaka had come to his office to take permission for a leave, when usually he would ask him before he goes to the office.
His thoughts went back to that afternoon when Ramu kaka entered his cabin. He wondered why he came there. "beta, my son is worried on some matter, I think it's better if I am with him at this time." Milind looked at him in surprised, "kaka, what's the problem with him, did he loose his money again," "no, his friend's life is making him to worry." "what's the matter, can you tell me in detail." "arey, it's just a long story, leave it", " no kaka I want to hear it" "ok then," kaka started the story. "actually my son forced his friend into the marriage, with a girl.. …but what happened is both started ignoring each other and didn't speak with each other." Milind was surprised by the story. The story and his life was the same, he thought it was a coincidental. "but the girl was so sensitive that she could not bear the silence around her. She tried to speak with her husband and sort out her difference but he was not ready for that. She patient for a year or so, kept on trying and trying. Seeing her marriage getting failed she did not have that dare to face the world with her marriage at the stage of dissolving ,the day before yesterday she commited suicide."
"she's gone crazy kaka." "you she gone crazy no she didn't the circumstances had made her to do this. For girl, after her marriage her husband is everything and when that husband ignores her then where does she goes." He looked at Milind, he saw him thinking about something deeply. "ok I'm getting late, I'll leave. I already told Prachi beti about me taking leave and going to my place directly from hearing." After kaka had left the place, Milind's conscience started troubling him. He thought what if Prachi does the same thing, he would be put on to the blame. He had already promised Alaap that he would keep her happy. But now at the present situation he was ignoring her. He thought that was not going to take place. He comes to the present. He thinks again that, that situation was not going to happen in his and Prachi's life. He thought that he at any cost was going to talk, even if she doesn't listen to him, he was going to make her to listen forcefully. He did not like this way of living. He entering into the apartment and puts sudden breaks seeing Mr. Rao's bike obstructing his car to move to it's parking place. Before he bursted out, the watchman had cleared the other way to the parking place. He steps out of the car and goes toards the lift.. he enters the lift and goes to his penthouse.
He stands there and takes a deep breath and was about to ring the door bell. But something prevented him. He places his hand on the door and pushes it. "It's opened" he thought. He enters into his house. His footsteps make Prachi turn towards the door. Seeing Milind there she moves towards him, seeing Prachi coming towards him, he takes another deep breath. "Prachi, I need to talk to you" "yeah, me too." "ok, then let me get fresh up and then talk", he goes up to the room. Prachi sees him going upstairs. She thought what made to him talk with her, even before she opened her mouth. Slightly smiling she goes into the kitchen for getting tea and snacks for Milind. She thanked god for breaking the silence between them.
