Part-7/A
The silence had became their part of life. Days of silence became weeks, but the silence never seemed to be ended. Slowly weeks also turned up to one month. One month of their marriage was over, but their silence never ended creating a big barrier between them. Two of were not concerned about each other's silence. The only person who was concerned about this in that house was Ramu kaka. He thought after Milind's marriage, atleast he would change his lifestyle. But for Milind, he thought nothing seems to be changed. He thought it would be better if he did something to get them together. He thought he should get someone to help him in this matter. First he thought he would involve Sukruthi, to sort out this matter. But he again thought she was not the right person, as she was sensitive and moreover instead of solving the problem, he thought, she could create more problems. So he dropped the idea of telling Sukruthi. The only one who could help him was Ayesha. Though he did not know how the relation was between Ayesha and Prachi but he knews she would give him a nice idea as she knew Milind's character.
After placing the phone, Ayesha started thinking about what Ramu kaka had told her. Initially she was shocked for their behaviour, but after some time of thinking she understood the reason behind in which circumstances they got married. She was feeling sorry for Prachi, who never thought of doing harm to others. Even though they came close to each other after Ayesha's marriage with Neev, Ayesha understood Prachi and her family very well. She didn't think that Prachi's life would take turn like this. She was suspecting something on the day of MICHI's marriage. Either Milind or Prachi was not excited about the marriage. She saw Neev also acting strangely after that marriage. She tried to ask him but simply he brushed of saying it was just becoz of the work stress. The incident she had witnessed the next day of their marriage, created vibes in her body. That day she followed Prachi upstairs without Prachi's knowledge. She was shocked at the silence that prevailed between them. She did not want to poke her nose in their matters, as they would solve their matters with the matter of time. But she didn't expect this. A month had passed, but they didn't care about it. She knows that Milind that struggled all his life, but after getting a sensible and beautiful wife, who he deserved,she did not understand why was he acting like that.
She asked Neev about the circumstances that led to their marriage. His answer "Milind fell for Prachi, when he saw her in the party the last year that we hosted, their first meeting, he wanted to marry only her and after thinking how to ask her hand for 6 months, he dared and asked Inder uncle and uncle had accepted." Did not convince her, instead raised many doubts in her brain. Firstly, that day in the party, their meeting was disastrous, they fought until the party was over and swore that they would never cross their paths, secondly if by accident Milind loved Prachi, how would Milind ask Inder, who was his worst enemy and was the man who had destroyed his family, for Prachi's hand. She suspected something that was going behind all this and she was not aware of this. She had a doubt that whether innocent Prachi was aware of this or not.
She started thinking of Prachi. It was just a year and a half when they met for the first time, Neev had introduced her to Ayesha. Prachi's innocence looks made her to like Prachi more. Prachi was totally different from her. She thought no one, after seeing Prachi, cannot ignore her or try to hate her. Her sweet and innocent face, made Ayesha to think that it would be nice if she had a sister like Prachi. Prachi had helped in getting NA's parents consent for marrying, so Ayesha thought how she could leave of prachi struggling like that. She thought talking with Milind would not make any difference. She thought that he just a stone without any feelings. Hoping that Prachi could understand something whatever she told her. She cannot bear all this happening in front of her. It was the matter of her childhood friend Milind and a sister like friend Prachi's life. She resolved in her mind that she would do anything for them at any cost. She didn't care of anything, what the result would be. She just wanted to see them happy. At present that was her aim and mission.
She poured herself a mug of coffee and sat before the laptop. She went to TIMES OF INDIA newspaper site and goes through the previous papers that were published a month back thinking she could find any hints that led to the marriage. The headlines in the business section, that was published exactly a 28 days ago shocked her. Immediately she takes a print out of that copy and takes her coffee mug and makes herself comfortable in the couch which was placed in the sitout area of their house. She goes through the news, carefully without missing a word, so as to get the hints of their marriage, but nothing was clear in that. She suddenly remembers about Alaap. She found that Milind's closeness towards Alaap all of sudden, from the day of their marriage. many things had changed after MP's marriage she thought. Somethings were strange to her and had not happened any time before. Anyhow, she thought and at any cost she was to solve this mystery behind this, without hurting anyone and breaking any relation.
