Part 2- Things seem to get better
He fell asleep again and then I moved around the car. I heard a rumple of plastic. I stepped on something. OH MY GOD THAT LIAR. He had a bag full of snacks. It had a bar of Milky Way, Snickers, Hershey, 2 bags of cheeses puffs, 1 granola bar and a pack of gummy bears. All, this junk food overjoyed me. Ha! He thought he could hide this from me but oh no, no, no! I carefully picked up the black plastic bag so he couldn't hear the rumple of the Bags of chips. I got out side, sat on the trunk of the car, and stared to eat the bag of gummy worms. Ahh at least I wasn't hungry any more.
The sun came up. It was 10 o'clock. Sh**! What to do? I had never been so bored in my entire life. I just wandered off with my purse and tried to see if I could get a signal. I walked around when I saw a truck coming. Yesssss! Scored, I finally found a truck. I went in front of the truck and started waving my hand franticly in the air. Yesssss! The truck stopped. "Excuse me I have been lost in this place for two days can I please get a ride?" I asked the truck driver. "Sure hop on little lady." He said in a thick southern accent. "Oh, thank you so much." I went to sit on top the truck with the haystack.
Ok, so you know how I tried to get a signal this whole time. Well, I finally got it. I immediately called my house. "Hello," my house sitter Joseph answered in a thick British accent. "Yeah, Joey can you please tell Da that I'll be home," I answered. "Sure, madam. I will inform him as soon as he gets home" "Oh, yeah is dad home," "No, madam he is out on a business trip to Italy" "Umm... where is Kaitlin?"
I made a face when I said my stepmother's name. My stepmother was a cruel evil little b****. I know she married to my dad for his money but there is no good reason why I should care about that s***. My mom had died when I was only two. But sometimes I can feel her looking at me protecting me. Mom's name was none other than Tanya Kripa Kapoor. I have the same name. And, I treasured that name more than anything in the whole wide world.
Any ways Joe replied, "No actually she has been out shopping." It was so obvious I mean there was nothing she loved more than daddy's credit cards. I remember 3 months ago when they got married. She came hugging to me and blabbing in front of dad about how much she loved kids, how she was exited to have a stepdaughter and stepson. When she really actually loves is dads credit cards. I'm not even exaggerating when I say she loved money. I swear one time my father was in the hospital and he expected her to come, but no instead, Kaitlin heard out the new Prada bag was being released at the mall so she ended up going to the mall.
"Anyways, tell Kaitlin I'll be home." I said in a harsh tone.
I wish my mom were still alive, she was a great woman everyone said so. She was beautiful. She had hazel eyes and dark auburn hair like me. My eyes change with my mood so I do not have an exact color. My dad even said she smiled and laughed the way I do, and he was right. I do.
