Her chain of thoughts broke as the airhostess entered the first class with refreshments, she turned towards Prachi who was fast asleep, she wasn?t too well, but Naina couldn?t leave her little baby back. However much she tried to run away from Rajveer, he was always with her in the form of Prachi and again her thoughts drifted away to the past..

?Acha, now listen, I think there is going to be an introductory party very soon organized by Lakme?

?Chill girl im not bothered about my clothes all im worried about is the people, the biggest names of the fashion world are going to be there?

When she went to bed that night Rajveer?s face just cropped up into his head again. He had made his effect

Naina owned her own personal boutique. That was a great achievement for any fashion designer. It meant owning a part of the fashion world in the fashion capital of India. But Naina aspired for more. She wanted to become famous wanted the world to know her. At times she did feel bad for her parents. She was the only child to her parents, giving them a shock like running away shattered their lives, but there was nothing that she could do in that. She wanted her own life and wanted to live life on her own conditions.

In 2 days time she got a call from the Lakme office informing her that the introductory party will be held on Wednesday night, a week later. She was excited, during this time, Rajveer had slipped out of her mind. She and Sonali decided that she will be wearing a sari, with a tinge of western fashion to it, one of her creations obviously, but it looked as if was meant for her. It fit the curves of her body exactly and she simply looked stunning.

On Wednesday night at 9pm she got out of her house and drove to the venue, parked her Ford in its respective place and went into the party hall. All the main who?s of the Fashion world were present there, to her utter amazement many of them knew her, this delighted her to the core. But she felt awfully alone, that was the problem with all these people, all fake all interested in nothing but profit. She did speak to Ritu for a few moments but then Ritu got busy with some other associates She was just getting bored when she suddenly spotted him, dressed in a black suit, he looked amazing, his rugged look gone and his hair was spiked up. She turned away, he was busy and she headed towards the tables to be seated. She was just staring at some high rise building when she felt a tap on a shoulder she was surprised to see Rajveer looking at her.

He had seen many beautiful girls in the past but she was different, way different from all of them, he had heard of her, she was quite famous, and her designes, they were amazing, completely new but never did he imagine that Naina Rathod would be like this. When he saw her at the party tonight she looked like a Queen. Her Sari was beautiful. Her make up was minimal but did wonders to her face. And her face, she was a beauty, looked like a model herself, he had to talk to her, as he watched her laughing at some joke cracked by one of the influential persons of the fashion world his heart skipped a beat. What was in this girl? He had to find out and so he approached her

He started the conversation

?Hi Ms. Rathod iam Rajveer, we met at the Lakme head office a few days back. Do You remember me??

?Offcourse I do, I don?t have such a bad memory and if you are Rajveer then Iam Naina?

He gave her a short smile

?Not at all, to be truthful with you I was getting bored?

? oh you poor thing, I really pity you, I can imagine your state, I get bored with these people even though I know them?

He couldn?t actually believe it that he was telling her this, for the first time he was opening up his heart. And She, she felt relaxed, but how could a complete stranger make her comfortable.

As the night went on he kept briefing her about all the main people, the stories behind them, their wavelengths met, they were comfortable with each other. They got themselves drinks and were enjoying eachothers company. He actually ended up telling her about his childhood and about his parents who had died 4 years years back in a car crash. No one had ever asked him those questions but she some how seemed interested. Suddenly the music started playing and he extended out his hand.

?May I have the pleasure to dance with one of the prettiest girls I know?

She was overwhelmed. She hadn?t expected him to phrase it that way

?Sure?

And soon they were together lost in eachothers eyes. As he pulled her closer to himself she didnt object and continued.

Finally the party got over at 3am as they were leaving Rajveer suddenly remembered something

?Naina can I have you phone number please?

? yeah sure, I want yours too?

And they exchanged their phones and keyed eachothers numbers into the other persons cells.

And then naina said

?Thanks for the company Rajveer. I really appretiate it?

?Don?t be formal with me Naina, we are as good as friends now arnt we??

?yeah right?

?Good Night?

And he bent down nd gave her a light kiss on the cheek and walked away. Even though she was used to kisses, this one gave her a different feeling, and so as she walked to her car she had a certain spring in her walk

And as she truned the ignition on she realized with a start that the battery of her car was over.

?Oh S**T. not now. What can I do?

She became hysterical. Gave all the possible bad words she could to her car. Who could possibly help her at 3.15am, she dint want to call the cops and create a problem, she couldn?t trust any other guest to drop her home at this time of the night and neither did she want to disturb Sonali

She thought a 100 times before pressing that call button but finally bucked up the courage and dialed ?Rajveer?

As she heard Hello on the other line she responded

?Rajveer, its me Naina, I needed a bit of a favour, could you please turn back and come to the hall again??
