Armaan instantly gets up..n goes towards the other side of the bed…where Arima had been sleeping in the cot..that was shift near Ridhima's place a few hours back…

Ridhima got up….n took Arima in her lap…Armaan came n sat in front of her…luking at Arima who was crying louder now..

Ridhima: shayad ise thand kaafi lag gayi hai…..Her line was confirmed..as Arima sneezed right then…

She had calmed down…but was still crying ….

A: haan…shayad…kyunki itni chotti baby…ko shayad humein ...khud koi chances nai lene chahiye….

R: hmm….humein to is field ke baare mein kuch zyaada pata bhi nai hai....she luked doubtful…….Main papa ko phone karti hun…..maybe another dose of nimulid…..

Armaan took Arima n kissed her cheek: bas meri chotti si princess….abhi fever theek ho jaayega…..he caressed her cheek…as he luked at her with worried eyes…He started to check her temperature with the thermometer..

Ridhima talks with her father..

S: hallo..??

R: hi papa…Ridhima bol rahi hun..

S: ohh…haan…haan beta bolo….

R: papa…who Arima ko thoda….i mean…kaafi bukhar ho gaya hai….raat ko bhi tha….around 101 degree Celsius..to Armaan ne kaha ki nimulid dena theek hoga..

Armaan interrups: 102…he told her nervously…as he checked Arima's thermometer

R: who..papa…ab 102 ho gaya….please…aap batao…ki humein ise nimulid hi deni chahhiye…ya phir..

S: beta….agar tumhein lag raha hai…ki fever nimulid se bhi nai kam ho raha hai….so…then..

Ridhima listened to her father nervously…as she saw Armaan…who smiled a watery smile to her….They both were really worried for Arima….n didn't know what they should do…They were not aware of lil kids…n their diseases…as neither of them had done courses about it….in their medical college..they hadn't taken that field only…..

Arima was now better….wid her mamma papa there with her…she was playing with Armaan's shirt's buttons…just like Ridhima did sometimes….Armaan luked at what his baby girl was upto…n smiled at her….

By now Ridhima was done with her call…

Armaan" kya hua….woh kya bol rahe the..?

Ridhima…papa keh rahe the ki abhi to ise yeh medicines dedo….she showed him a paper…in which she had scribbled some meidicines….

…..aur agar phir bhi nai gaya…to….phir Arima ko hospital le jaana padega….she caressed Arima's hair…who was still fiddling with her papa's buttons…trying to take it out…lol…

As Armaan noticed what she was doing..

A: Basket…khud to buttons kholne aur todne mein tum champion ho…..kam se kam apni beti ko to yeh sab mat sikhao……nai to aage jaakar iske boyfriends ki shirts ka kya hoga...

Ridhima: boyfriendS?? Armaan...tum iski zindagi mein kitne ladke laana chahte ho....???

Armaan: zyaada nai...lekar agar yeh badi hokar bilkul tum par gayi..phir to ek lambi line lag jaayegi iske peeche...he winked

Ridhima: Armaan…..she slightly slapped him on his cheek…..sudhar jao…..aur Arima ki dawaiyaan jaldi lao…..

Armaan took her hand n kissed her…then sensing she was feeling worried for Arima he said:

Armaan: Oh Basket..!! theek ho jaayegi..main medicines laata hun..hmmm..??

Ridhima nodded feebly…she took Arima from Armaan….Armaan kissed Ridhima..n then Arima…n then went to get the medicines…

Ridhima was trying to make Arima sleep…so she could feel better….she was gently caressing her hair….as Arima slept in her lap…

But Arima cudnt sleep for long…she sneezed again…n then coughed..Ridhima rushed to her room…as she heard Arima crying…

She picked her up…n felt that her forehead was even more hot..Infact..it was as if her whole body was burning….for her arms…feet….neck…legs…everything was very hot…n she was wailing loudly..as if in pain…Arima was shivering…n coghing at the same time..

Ridhima made her lie down…n even though being a doc herself..she dint know what to do….she thought of wetting Arima's forehead with a hanky to bring the fever down…but she thought it wud be better for Armaan to come…Riodhima was relly worried as she saw Arima wail louder....
