Sure Janata has a right to vote for who they want. I just don't want him representing India internationally. It will be an unmitigated disaster. He's not the most deserving candidate. But again, life is not fair and especially in India where people do things without giving it an intelligent thought.

You guys keep talking about "improvement in Quazi", but at the end of the day the judgement should not be based on who improved the most, but who was the best. Clearly, nobody can argue that Quazi is the best (or one of the two best). I mean, if someone is terrible and improves to become tolerable then that's a vast improvement, but when someone is already very good and stays consistent then do you really penalize him for "not showing improvement"?

rolm.. i'd also like to add... ur talking about successful/educated vs uneducated ppl. don't mind me being being defensive but there are some very educated people who support qazi too. so plz mind your tongue. another fact that maybe of some interest to you is that alot of qazi's fans are from the states or canada.... so maybe you should think before you speak as well 😊

TV Fan -- It wasn't meant as a personal attack on anybody. Obviously everyone has a right to support whoever they want. And who said that everyone in US or Canada is smart? Didn't the US populace re-elect George Bush? Just because someone lives in US or Canada, doesn't automatically make them intelligent (different than rich. Statistics show that only 20 percent of US population can be considered upper middle class by US standards).

I would be willing to bet that if the voting was restricted to those who have a basic understanding of music, Quazi would have not made even the top 10.
