Soni TV want to show that they can make singers. No need to learn music before coming to Gurukul. If trained singers like Arijit would win then no credit to Soni TV's Gurukul.
SO simple Grukul has the capcity over any good gurus in India like Pandit Jasraj ji because they are able to make Qazi the best singer (in eyes of indian janta ) and were able to get rid of Arijit.
Whatever the reason is but Gurukul is good in teaching to be selfish too.

You guys are not being fair to Arpita. She is very talented (the most talented of the lot). Qazi has already got his fame. Why not give the more talented person a chance. I donno why you guys are enamored of Qazi.
RR is fine and all and I would love if she was my sister. But Arpita is the babe. And in the end talent should triumph. Arpita looks like a pop star with her figures too. Rexie is my fave. I hope Rexie and Arpita get to be the fame Jodi.

Sure she's talented - but also quite 2-faced (see episode where she's complaining about RR to faculty, yet lying to RR's face) - I think the majority of people prefer genuine people to 2 faced people.

Qazi earns his admiration from his honesty - he tells it like it is and speaks from the heart. If Arpita could have this quality, I'm sure she'd be the most popular amongst the fans of the lot.

So the female should look like the popstar and the male should not? Heck using that argument, Qazi looks a million times more a popstar than Rex!

As for the argument of 'talent should triumph' - if that was true, I can name at least 3 contestants who should still be standing there. Also, who said that this was going to be strictly a popstar contest? Not everyone is into skinny gals mind you. That was a pretty biased comment I'd say.

what figure are you talking about, all i see is a tall palm tree with the pointy leafs.You call that a figure, and yes if arpita and rex win we will be seeing two digit number 10 dancing on stage, arpita + rex=10
