Sorry Sakshi... my tongue slipped a bit. But I don't understand what Prashant was trying to prove by saying ke photo pe double cross karo take Qazi ke dil pe lage!!! I understand when contestants say such things but is he even allowed?!

Anyways, I think I'm finally sick of this show. Its lost its last drop of decency. It really should be called Jung Gurukul Who cares whose fame jodi after this kind of nonsense 😕

The kind of poison he(Prahant) carries is so uncharacteristic of a true GURU. And his duality makes him all the more venomous. He takes sides and puts up a "SHAREEF" face in the galas. He is always backbiting about Qazi and although he tries to hide his felings and poses like the only patronizer of music, yet he is often caught in the act.And all this while he comes up with games and gimmics that invariably end up with insulting Qazi.If you get a chance look at the video archives.there is one in which Qazi tries to seek refuge in a room for pracice and Prashant catches him there.I was surprised at the way he rebuked Qazi.I don't know how they seleced that character. Not a good human being leave alone being a good GURU.

Fame comes from the audiance and he seems to feel that his opinion is above that of all the people- people who who base their decision on much more than just sur and taal.

It is very sad to see a person who calls himself a "guru" is setting bad example. All my school life I have never came across a teacher who lets others pick on one student. I always saw the bullies getting punished, but here the encouragement comes along with the teacher itself. This is very sicking and very sad.

This is an old excerpt from a newspaper. I haven't seen it in this forum. Hope u enjoy.

Sony's Fame Gurukul had some amusing moments initially with TV star Manav Govil and Mandira Bedi bantering about the girls' bedroom (actually, a badly constructed set). The 'principal' Ila Arun frowned hard and twisted Govil's ear. "Don't forget you are a married man." Er, is it okay to peep into the girls' bedroom otherwise? The ones who got eliminated wept openly. Rex D'Souza, easily the most affable contestant sobbed in protest, "I was told to leave with a smile if eliminated. But sorry, I can't do that." I heard judge Alka Yagnik rebuking a female contestant for going out of sur. Cool it, baby!
Who decides the fate of the contestants on the music contests? The judges or the TRPs? On Fame Gurukul another male contestant sobbed like a baby after 'principal' Ila Arun chastened him for hobnobbing in the bathroom with a colleague. "I know the kind of conferences you carry on in the bathroom," Ila Arun sounded like the girl from India TV after the sting operation. Caught with his pants down (so to speak) the contestant did the best thing possible. He bawled. As this embarrassing scene unfolded before our eyes the boy blabbered something about the lady reminding him of his mother. Better than any soap, huh?
