I do not understand your logic....so, Shankar praised him a couple of times.......why does that imply that no one should comment on how few would buy his albums? Everyone has their own opinion....and if millions like Qazi, million others will always find his charisma overshadowing his voice!!! I listened to hsi Main Hoon Na rendition and he was, as usual, mediocre and totally off-key in places....for a guy who has always been saved by the public, he should be MUCH BETTER AND MORE CONSISTENT!!!!!!! Just cuz he gives couple of good performances, his fans start sounding egoistic???!!!!!

I am one of those who doesn't believe that popularity implies better quality....I hate SRk, I hate Ash Rai, I am not too fond of Rani Mukherjee - and these are the most popular celebrities!!!!

POpularity always depends on how you present yourself to the public....if the most talented had to be the most popular, then Anil Kapoor and Irfan Khan would have led the Most Popular list....but that never happens!!!

hence, I don't care if Qazi is supported by 3/4th of the nation.....I don;'t care if he is loved by all except me....I still have the right to comment about him! You cannot speak for others! lolzzzz

Oh, and I wish Qazi would branch out of sappy, romantic numbers and display more range in his voice....I guess he knows his limitations too and is careful to pick songs that aid his voice!

Karangara hmmmmm I feel u didnt read my post correctly. I didnt point at the FEW who wont buy Qazi's albums but I pointed at the LOTS who will. I dont think i specifically commented anything about you did I. I said when a music director is saying that his voice will sound beautiful in playback I am sure there will be lots who will be there to listen to him. I am not at all interested about the few who wont. This whole post was about what Shankar Mahadevan told about him and thats what I was saying.

Secondly if u see the show properly u will see the faculty chooses songs for every cotestant, if the ocntestant feels he wont perform a particular song he can change. So its not about Qazi choosing songs or Qazi knowing his limitations. And I also think most of the good singers choose songs which suit there voice. Whats the use of choosing a high pitched tough song and then looking strained and sickly while singing it?

Laslty I think Qazi fans have not become egoist, they always praise the right people, most of the Qazi fans said Arijit was exceptional in Aasihq Banaya, Rex was too good with his Dil De Diya hain and stuff. Its not that Qazi fans have become egoist its that Qazi haters have become so obsessed that they always look for a way to comment on Qazi or his fans whether the post is related to him or not.

I wish you would realize what you have just said... it was funny how you pointed out the fact it took so much time to make qazi a good singer but completely forgot the fact how long the rest of the singers have been singing... they are trained.. and is qazi.. nop.. if you say even a donkey can sing when offered so much time well then i say the rest of the contestants must be donkey's too cuz they have been singing for their whole lives... and a lot of time has been spend on them and their singing.. are you saying that is why they are good.. or they wud be worthless donkeys.. my friend practice n time makes perfect and that is what singing is about.. so please don't make comments whose bases are a bit ignorant... qazi sings well now and has improved it should be 👏... and the others have been practicing for so many yrs im glad to know you think they are good buh u must know they started sumwhere where they werent perfect either and time made them better too

you better mind your own business man!!! if you can't read my comments just skip them, you all guys have made a group and are fighting with me for no reason.. just coz my comments are against a dumb, so there might be somethign in him that relates him to you .. I am not in favour or anyone.. but I am surely in favour of music. I am into music too so i know what it is.
