qazi use to like arpita, but she never liked him, infact there was an incident when he had this duet with qazi (u r my sonia, if i m not wrong), during the rehearshal she also complained to prashant sir that Qazi is not coperating etc etc. and if i m not worng then i think qazi was in danger after that gala again with shamit and gurupreet. I think (someone can correct) even arpita was in danger then and was saved by faculty, then after i think arpita just hates him, she doesnt want to take any risk with her being the fame jodi, she think because of qazi, there was a chance that she might have been in danger zone.
