I think they perform live on stage and it is not prerecorded because
Judges are present at that time meaning they are performing live in front of them

Although the show is edited for showing on TV to fit the time slot and breaks etc. and may be to add few things to spice up.

hey sam i ans buh the quest was a lil confusing as in.. do we think its pre recorded wen its shown on tv .. or.. not recorded on stage at all 😕

in my opinion they donot sing live on the stage. they reharse it many times and then give final take and judges judge thier final take only!

at the stage they olny do lip....

I think they rehearse and they give give a final take and then the final take is taken into consideration by judges and at stage they do the lip. I said this coz I have seen many a times when they perform their mikes are far off but their voices are heard. Ruprekha she justs walks on stage holding her mike far from her as she sways and waves her hands but the song can be heard. When they performed 10 bahane in last episode together Qazi a whole line and distributed roses to two or three girils while singing, there was no mike but he could be heard. 😆 When Arijit sang Vande Mataram Javed complained that his mike placment was wrong and low tunes couldnt be heard, thats coz his comment was based on the last take precorded song and commented on basis of that coz when it was performed on stage in Gala with the song playing in the background the sound was played in such volume that we could hear every tune properly. How come Judges sitting their listening live couldnt hear and we could? Judges take the recorded final versions into consideration and comment on that and performance is seperate with just the lip.

I think it is live bacause because qazi said that he missed the cues of music to start song as people were shouting and he could not hear. That is only possible if it was live .
