this is a COMPETITION!

"politics" is a great strategy if you ask me...

if you want to reach the top, you must decrease the amount of competition you will be facing near the future. sure, people may say it is "unfair," but, again, IT IS A COMPETITION!! it makes perfect amount of sense, does it not? heck, those who are taking advantage of this strategy are very intelligent.

whatever arijit's reason may be behind his vote (perhaps politics), it should be absolutely acceptable. it is his valuable vote. just like each of the contestants in FG is entitled to his/her own opinion on who should be voted out, so is arijit. arijit's decision was a rather "bad" decision according to some of you, but you can't go on calling him foolish and stupid for his choice.

note that i am not saying this because i am a fan of arijit and would like to support him. i am definitely not his fan; i just felt as if i had to say that since some of you are very closed-minded and must start thinking with a broader mind.

But I just can't shake off the fact that Arijit could do something like that. It's low - and in fact, it's actually not much of a smart plan, because it's sabotaging his own chances. After today everyone is conviced he's a cheat, lie, deceiver, and no one wants to listen to a person like that. The public won't want to vote for him (though I admit, they never really wanted to, ever - but still). People won't like him anymore. In the end, it's turns out to be kind of stupid. PLUS, he loses a great friend - well, I can't be certain that Shamit will break ties with him, but honestly, would you want to be friends with someone who backstabs you?

hey guys shamit is alno not that seedha seedha, while leaving he didnt hug Arijit, infront of camera he may show something else but as such i m sure he hates arijit now. The real matter is Since past 1 week or so Shamit and Arpita started claimimg that they will be the fame jodi and arijit felt cheated there, he knew that shamit will backstab him sooner ir later so why take chances. Also dont go by the rona dhona he did on the FG show, after the show he went to FG@MTv and there he was defending his act infront of Ila and Javed Akhtar. He was not atall guilty on what he did.

I was really puzzled when arjit voted out shamit. Some times i feel what he did is wrong, bcoz shamit is an excellent singer.His knowledge in music is great.May be the last performance of shamit was not good.Keeping in mind his previous performances, arjit should have selected shamit.
BUT REMEMBER THIS IS A GAME.
The contestant has to alwaz lessen the burden, and make his track clear.And since shamit is a good singer, he is alwaz a challenge for arjit. So this was a good chance for him to vote out shamit and make his lane clear.
Also he gave a chance for Monica, which should be considered.though monica's performance is extremely poor.
Ultimately i feel arijit did this very tactfully and bravely

i still love arijeet!he is only 18 yrs!pp, take it in that sense.i loved shamit a lot-its a good artist's sign that he did not bring sentiments into itbwhile voting.but its bad that he chose the wrong person to vote for.he is young and he cant have politics and all.he even had chest pain and all....he loves shamit guys . all the time we have seen him vote 4 shamit and soo naturally expected him to cast his vote for shamit again.but we went wrong....poor guy!first of all, when shamit was put in danger, why didnt the faculty rescue him?if they didnot how can they say arijeet did the wrong thing!? 😭 i love shamit too........but arijeet the most!dont take that i have no sentiments 4 shamit.i feel dreadfully bad 4 him!he is such a great friend!how i wish i had a friend like him.neways, back to the topic, this is a competition and things like this which are undigetable happen........we must learn to cope up with them.

i'm guessing you've probably watched the episode in which qazi and arijit discuss this competition, so if you heard what qazi said to arijit regarding friendships in FG, you would understand where i am coming from. after finding a career and gaining fame, friendships are like nothing. friends will come and go, but a chance to make it big will not. THIS IS ARIJIT'S CHANCE (as well as others')!

also, what arijit did is not low, and those you are convinced that arijit is a "cheat," "liar," and "deceiver" seriously don't understand that concept of a competition. in a competition, YOU COMPETE. the unexpected will happen. aside from that, i, personally, think that you shouldn't find the need to make close friends and crap because, eventually, you may have to sacrifice those friendships to make it to the top.

as far as it goes with the public voting for him, you have to also consider the fact that there are many people out there who like arijit and liked shamit as well. besides, you're right that not many people usually vote for him in the first place, but it's not like that will greatly influence his chances of remaining in FG (look at the past). he, often times, does a very good job, so the faculty ends up saving him quite a lot when he is in the danger zone.

most importantly, you don't know if his decision ends up stupid. who knows, maybe now he will be a part of fame jori since there is lesser competition, or at least now he has a larger chance of gaining a lot of publicity.
