I feel the safest is Ruprekha and Rex, they really can sing different types of songs and both are expressive. I dont think Shamit is at all a good singer. IF he selects tough songs and slips and can sing easy numbers only with ease what sort of good singer is he, Arijit is 1000 times better than him. Shamit chooses tough songs and cant handle them. Atleast Rex, Qazi they are untrained and they know what they should sing, they never try things what they cant. But Shamit he chooses a tough song coz he feels he is very learned and then his face becomes strained, vocal cords and nostrils swell, he tries to cover that up by movements and ultimately ends up huffing and puffing and shouting. Arijit, Arpita and Ruprekha are lot more versatile than Shamit and ohhhhhh yes the new guy Sandeep can really give him some competition.

Qazi he is a total popstar package with bit of everything in him and will handle those sorts of songs pretty well and Rex and Sandeep are good for both playback and pop numbers, rest all others are fit for playback and not stage performances. And I really doubt Shamit can handle a very tough playback properly, Arijit is far far better than him in that tooo.

hey guys let me tell u in last gala sandeep disclosed that teh choice of songs are not their, its given to them by faculty.

Any why the hell they ask Qazi to perfrom at the end in most episodes be it Gala or Ranbhumi

The songs are given to them by the faculty. They donot choose them. So, Sandeep last time told them that if that is one of the criteria to judge then you should know this. Shamit tries too hard. His facial expressions donot go with the song.Yesterday also while singing Jeene ke hain char din his face was in all types of contortions. But I like him as a singer.

Rex and Qazi are bindaas people. They have different personalities from the rest of them. That is why they perform so well. Rooprekha and Arijit are reserved kind of people. For them it is very very difficult to be so open as Rex and Qazi and perform. But they are trying thier level best and are improving in that department too. Last gala Mandira and the judges did like Arijit's performance. There is a marked improvement in him but he cannot be Qazi or Rex. He has to have his own style otherwise it will look unnatural. Rooprekha also has her own style. She does not go overboard. They both can sing any type of song effortlessly.

Arpita I have nothing to comment. She sings well and the judges love her off.

I think Arpita and Qazi are the safest. 😊
