The viewers have once again voted their favourite Rex back into the show. Rex who is also a favourite of the Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor was rated 9.5 on a scale of 1 to 10 by the star. It is a proven fact that it is not only Rex's talent but also his confidence that has swept the viewers off their feet. This week the show has received over 30 lakh votes making the viewer enthusiasm and excitement more than evident once again.

The voting figures are also a testimony of the fact that it is not only Qazi who is popular with the viewers but the other contestants too have struck a chord with the viewers of the show. While there is a lot of excitement about Rex's comeback, there are also feelings of melancholy that Mona and Kirti have to leave.

At the elimination Javed Akhtar who has made his affinity for Mona very clear in the past reiterated to Mona that she was a caterpillar when she came into Fame Gurukul and has now turned into a beautiful butterfly thus she surely has nothing to loose. He expressed that Fame Gurukul has contributed to her transformation the most amongst all the contestants. Javed Akhtar told Kirti that even though Rex and Qazi are very popular with the viewers, he was one of the most talented contestants and thus was brought back to the show and was sad to see him go. Shankar Mahadevan reassured Mona and Kirti that they will meet again and will be a part of his next movie assignment.

Tonight's gala has actor K. Mahadevan oining the other panel of jury to select the 4 contestants for the danger zone. He will be seen judging the contestants and giving them valuable tips on how they can improve their skill sets. Watch out for exhilarating performances on the theme for this week 'The R.D.Burman.The contestants will be belting out popular tracks of R.D. Burman for the gala show.

Wow, I think Mona and Kirti will be singing together for Shankar's next film. Nice. I hope Anubhav and Mona end up singing together some time in the future too.
