Celebrity says Thanks for the compliments. I was born in Calcutta, where I spent two years. Then, Dad moved to Delhi. But I've been living in Mumbai since I was five. This is where I've done my school & college. I got into acting by chance. I went to the screentest because I wanted to know what it was all about. Then I landed a role in Shanti. Shanti gave me a lot of confidence. I met my husband Raj eight years ago. We live in Bombay with our two doggies in a little house made by us. W've no kids for now, but we're looking to have a family soon.

Celebrity says Yes, you'll be seeing me in more movies after Fame Gurukul is over. I love short stories. I read Roald Dahl, Jeffrey Archer. Paulo Cohelio. I love Harry Potter. I've read all the Potter books and I love J K Rowling's style of writing.

Celebrity says Hi, Mandira here. I'm glad to see so many fans of Arijit. He's probably the best as far as singing talent goes. I think the new wildcard round is perfectly fair. Just when things became too comfortable, the wildcard entry will shift things up, bring a little variation into the show. It's for the better.

Celebrity says I don't play favourites. On a platform like this Chat on Sify, I do give my personal views. But on a public platform like Television, I'm as unbiased as possible.

Celebrity says I don't, at least in the last couple of episodes. During the initial episodes, I got upset. Because it was so nice to see the kids get along so well. When the voting process happened and contestants had to vote for one person, it becomes really tough. I sometimes can't contain myself when I see the love they have for each other.

About judges' faisla, Fame Gurukul has a set format. It's a popular show which ran successfully in many countries. We've been following the same format.

Celebrity says I am a Punjabi, but I am more comfortable speaking in Banlga than in Punjabi. In the Gurukul I cant speak in Bangla. But Shamit, Ruprekha and Arpita all follow Bangla.

Celebrity says I am a very unbiased hostess. When Qazi is voted back in there is a lot of comment among the judges and faculty because it means one gifted singer has lost out.

Celebrity says I was heart-broken when Rex was voted out. If the public wants Qazi, I'm happy with that.

Celebrity says I agree, Lavina. Even I couldn't see myself doing negative roles. My parents live in Delhi and my brother in Singapore. I got married to Raj Kaushal six years ago. He's positive, a strong individual. He's my drving force, the wind beneath my wings. When people ask me about my better half, I say he's my best half.

Yea I agree with u guyz. This shows QAzi has brains, question he was uncomfortable with he avoided but didnt hurt anyones feelings. This was not fair on Arijit's part to give such an answer. He could have answered something like Mandira instead. Anyways he is digging his own grave by bashing Qazi 😃
