NOW, we've had neo celebs made famous by the idiot box visiting us quite regularly, but after they had attained the required stature. So when the two participants of yet another singing talent hunt show, Shamit Tyagi and Qazi Taqir made an appearance in the city midway through the series, it sure made us Lucknowites scratch our heads in confusion. Till the explanation, these two happen to be the most popular participants in the final list and the public might want to meet them face to face, came forth.
The most obvious question that sprang to the minds of the collected press persons of course, was what if they don't make it at the end. And the answers too were run of the mill. While Shamit stated, "I have that much confidence that things will work out in my favour at the end," Qazi was of the opinion that, "If I don't make it as a singer, I will definitely bag a role in a Bollywood production soon."
You have to give it to these guys, confidence is not an asset they are short of. But till the results are announced, all we can do is wish them luck!
