Sa Re Ga Ma Pa is far better!

I happened to watch Sa Re Ga Ma Pa's challenge repeat telecast yesterday. And to my surprise, I found the quality of singers far far better than any of those on Fame Gurukul.

Yes, they were singing standing at one point and some even with their eyes closed. They were NOT asked to dance or "connect" with the audience. The entire "performance" was in their VOICES only.

And believe me, even the guy who had to leave yesterday was terrific!

(Surprisingly, he too sang "Tu hai aasmaan mein" like Anubhav did when he went out)

Now, if only the timings were at an earthly hour, instead of 10 p.m., I would have certainly switched over to Zee!!!

100 times better.We should know what we want.If play back singer then just test their singing ability.I can bet apart from Shamit & Arijit no one in Gurukul can qualify to saregamapa.

I feel Arijt is the only one who could qualify in SAREGAMAPA. I hear that Shammit did try out for SAREGAMAPA but didn't qualify.

I thik we shldnt compare two shows. Every competition has its owne criteria and chooses contestants on that basis. As FG contestants are not fit for SAREGAMAPA similarly SAREGAMAPA contestants are not fit for FG tooo.

i think....arijit rex arpita shamit rupu mona kirti and anubhav ar da only ones who ar qualified for sa re ga ma pa!...uhhh da rest ar ok...but anyone could try!

i think they are not to be compared, well they can be...but they are 2 different shows, and yes, there are some gr8 singers in fg which can qualify as much as sareagamapa singers like for me always kirti, and offcourse arijit, shamit, rooprekha, arpita...mona and anubhav i mean everybody is good according to their basis so we cant really say tht fg singers are not tht qualified as much as sa re ga ma pa , becuz who knows if they would have been part of saregamapa then we would have say he/she is excellent and cannot be compared to this or tht...and actually in my opinion fg contestants atleast connect with the audience and perform which i dont find in sa re ga ma pa contestants....but they all are gr8 and sure can make it too too

Most definitely saregamapa has much better singers but in fame gurukul they come to learn and in saregamapa they are expected to be trained already.

lets not compare d 2 shows... or the singers either. all we know 'n c is the performance on stage but how good they really are we dunno... so lets' leave it 2 the judges to decide.they're all different 'n each one has its own +/- points.
since v r on the topic...a bit of news to share... arpita was the Golden voice hunt winner at sa re ga ma pa a couple of months ago. so that means she's already qualified 'n now she has switched channels.. tha's al.

i can't agree more, sare ga ma pa is such a terrific show.................singers have a standard & the judgements are so precise u can never question the talent or judgement...............saregamapa rocks
