T'days Update – 23rd Aug 2k (india)

1) Shamit & Arjit discussing.. arijit wants to leave gurukul… he was missing his mother a lot.. he wants to go back to his parents.. shamit was giving him some cold – drink.. n arijit said.. thand karne ki koshish kar rahe ho.. in the meantime rooprekha came.. so shamit n arijit teasingly asked.. so whts ur plan as an immune student.. she said.. pata nahi.. shamit said.. kya swimming suits mein aane ka hai is baar.. rooprekha was quite amazed with this statement.. everyone was laughing.. arijit said… so in swim suit perform tht song… dil ko hazaar baar .. (murder).. quite a fun scene b/w three of them.

2) Rooprekha shown quite stressed up, so she went to meet anjali chabari (counselor) .. rooprekha confessed tht behind her back her frnds pointing her as arrogant n proud person. She said I haven't changed a bit ; its coz of language problem, n the way I speak it coz of tht.


3) Arijit received a call frm his home.. n his parents were quite motivated him.. they said.. don't worry abt danger zone. N don't get tensed up.. n y is he saying tht he wants to cm home.. everyone got very high expectation on him.. his mom said.. think Illa Arun as ur mom.. don't miss much.. its just ur start of ur career.. long way to go.

4) So, after call arijit became quite senti.. he cried in their common room; where rex came for his help.. he told rex tht he received call frm his home .. just rex gave his shoulder to arijit to share his sorrows n feelings.


5) Rex too received call frm his home.. his mom was quite disappointed.. she said, if qazi is again selected by public, then is there any chances of him to be votd in.. he said no as arijit is better singer than him.

6) After receiving call, rex too became senti.. he came to arijit.. they both console each other.. rex said, by any cost he wants to b in gurukul, as his mother got lots of expectations on him. They both also discusses, tht y ppl r giving soo much vote to qazi.. he is good for acting.. usko kahin na kahin chance mil hi jayega.. par huamara kya hoga…???


7) Shamit and qazi went to some college for performance…. Qazi sang.. dil ho tum se pyaar hua.. pheli baar hua.. n crowd was getting crazy for him.. but didn't saw much for Shamit… he sang who lamhe (I think so.. not sure).. college crowd went crazy over qazi n took his autograph. In the end shamit & qazi hugged each other.

8) Mickey mehta gave some exercise classes to everyone.. and told rex and rooprekha, not to have dinner only fruits.


9) Now the take of the episode… both girls (Rooprekha and Arpita ) was aksed to find out Mr. Gurukul.. they had four rounds… first round.. Cat walk.. guys it was soo funny the way all guys were walking, second round.. they were asked one question.. tht wht happened in girls room when lights turn off.. rex replied.. tht thing happen, which happens in boys room...(cool expression while telling them)… then they were asked to dance.. gosh.. it was such a hilarious… everyone danced.. n it was such a funny scene watching shamit , arijit dancing… then they were told to sing and dance on hot number..shamit performed sharaha .. he was looking soo cute, same hot number to rest of them.. then arpita and rooprekha decided.. tht rex should b Mr Gurukul.

10) Prashant & padma mam Arrives and told them there won't be any gala week for them ,a s new six will be introduce n they will perform… so there won't be any gala round for remaining students. Those selected frm six.. will be performaing with them in next round.


11) All three were given handycam to shoot their last day's in gurukul… Rex said.. he likes arijit a lot, as they had a special bonding….if he has to give his fav thing , he will give it to arijit.. he will miss qazi also.. he will miss whole gurukul…. Arijit said.. he will also miss rex.. n shamit a lot n also qazi.. just a mesg for qazi tht whtever happens , if he is again selected then he should work hard n concentrate in his singing…. N if wants to give his fav thing to someone.. he wil give his kurta to shamit tyagi.. then cms qazi.. he showed his fav pic of him self.. qazi with short hair.. qazi's jacket n his stuff… he said.. I just want to spread smiles.

Concert Update: USA 27th august 7PM:

The first song from Arpita, shammit arijit and Qazi:they all performed with the enthusiasm and the starting energy which was good. they all enjoyed singing and dancing with each other. qazi and arpita were really given cute steps with each other and altogrther thes song was good.

second came shammot performance: The first song from zehar: he was almost shouting and the sur is dropped many times, and the main thing is he loast his energy and stamina which caused his voice to scrumble. otherwise he tried his best. and not to forget the audiance interaction was good with good steps in the starting and later loosing energy he almost twisted the girls neck.

second song was kaho na kaho: the lost stamina continues...to show in voice and performance...but should say tried his best.

next was some hot number from some model

next is Arpita's performance (to take a break they showed arpita shammit and arijit.....qazi was missing) : the first song from arpita was ok...and gradually picked up...tried a lot to interact with audiance..but some of the audiance faces was shown who looked less interested in her song. but overall she also tried her best.

second song:baras sa badal: the energy was totally lost and the sur was in the sky....and also some of the words are missing and reversed in the song. and she somehow later picked up the song and know what she ended it very good. in summary she ended with good sur.

next is shammit and arijit number: mamayya kero mama: yes absolutely they showed good energy and good steps. and the song has much drama in it, and shammit handled it well than arijit. arijit was totally following his big brother in chereography. all the way the song was good one to watch.

Next was song from Arijit: vande mataram: started very well, good interaction(asking the audiance , tell me who all love india" (is there anyone who doen't lov india)) he sung better than the gala round. and i between he asked the audiance "are u enjoying" did not look that easy for the audiance to accept. otherwise he was good here.

second song:from arijit:pagede sambaal: unless like shammit and arpita, arijit did not loose energy, he totally has control on his song. in one word he was very good in this song. but the interaction in the last was lost in the air, when he asked the audiance to repeat along with him "vande mataram" , there were faces shown who was not opening there mouth (dumb looking at him).

Next was a dance number buy a male:donno if that is needed. for one second felt like Qazi might give better dance number than the guy..who was dancing in himself:

Arpita, shammit and rooprekha was show before the break with comming up song anouncment;(where is Qazi?? again)

next song:by rooprekha:aware baware: started good, not given any dance steps so she did it well.

next song by roophrekha:kaise ye paheli hai ye: again she did it very well singing wise, but as soon as she take some steps forward and backward, she lose her sur and everything and she stands in one place, the singer returns. overall ended up with "oh baby"....good one .

next song from shammit and arpita:tala dum..tala dummmm: the energy was retained and the song was good and performance too...as this was a slow number, both have no much steps. overall shammit sounded good than arpita. oveall perfect.

ahhh..before the break, this time qazi was shown with arijit and roprekha:

next song from arijit, qazi and roprekha:jeha ke hum shikander: song was started very well and the chereography was not at all practised by all of them, arijit was finishing his steps very fast...and qazi was slow going with the song and sometimes tried to be in sync with arijit, who was fast. (this looked like qazi was following arijit) otherwise the song was OK.

next was from Amit Sana: chal diye: sounded like a professional. as it was his own song...did very well.

qazi was shown with rekhi sawant before the break (not good dialogs given:tum aag ho, may baraf hu)

next song from qazi:janabe aali: the entrace was different and then followed with good chereography. crowd was really enjoying his steps. for his level who sung only 14 songs till day, have done well on stage both with steps and singing.

second song from qazi:no no..dil vil: started very good, again the energy thing was lost..looked like he forgot the song here, but not to mention he maintained it well with " na ra na..na ..na na..and da ra da..da da" . anyways the audiance seen enjoyed the song.

next was a number from Rekhi sawant; looked like fame gurukul has missed some skin show, so rekhi provided it.

the last was asman ke paar song; sony atleast made the ending good. all sang well.

overall one thing is seen all over the show: whoever tried to do some steps and perform with singing were totally lost in sur and words of the song(because of energy), all other's who stood at one place and performed did very well with their songs.

AND ALL THE CONTESTANTS DID WELL IN MY VIEW, AS THIS THEIR BUDDING EXPERIANCE.

BEST OF LUCK TO SONY IN THEIR NEXT CONCERT(please plan well).

I thought the concert wasn't ALL that either. But hey, I was wondering about that song that Arijeet and Shammit sang together "mammaya kero mamma". What movie is that song from? This was the first time I heard it.

it was frm the movie Arjun , and it was picturized on Sunny deol and his frnds when they were trying their level best to find a job!
