Do you really think any organizer is going to claim anything other than declaring the shows a hit? How else will they get others motivated and create excitement for their shows.

Organizers claim should always be taken with a grain of salt. Only independent account can provide a true picture.

yup u r totally right😊That is true for any business, how can someone claim their own product to be bad.

Thats why we r waiting for reports from the media or someone who has actually seen the show😊

But anyways it doesn't matter if the show is a hit or flop for those who don't like qazi because we all know what these people are going to say 😆

If the show is a hit it was a hit because of Rex and Debojeet 😆 .

If the show is a flop then it was because qazi was there 😆 .
we all know it from the past experience don't we 😆 😆

Honestly, I don't expect the show to be a flop or a big hit. I think it will be somewhere in between. Fans of FG and SRGMP will go and see it. I'm sure those who come will have a good time as this show will be much more casual compared to when bigger stars come. Since none of these performers are superstars they do a better job of interacting with the audience and get them much more involved. I've been to such shows and that's what I've noticed. However, like anything else there is a good and a bad side to everything. I've already highlighted the good. The bad part is that the quality of singing is not as good as in a show where you would have professional singers such as Sonu Nigam, Shaan, Alka Yagnik, etc. But that's ok since people's expectations are different from such shows anyway.

Yes, I agree. I have not been to too many shows.

But since they are new to the SHOW business, to have their own shows organised is a step in the right direction. This show may not have the huge logistics of a AR Rahman Show, but would be a more intimate one as rightly pointed. But the first step has been taken.

Hope everyone enjoys the SHOW, Debu, Qazi, Rex would make a good team I feel :-)

If anyone comes across any clips of the show do upload them...

I'm not sure I agree with ticks' statement "..have their own shows organised is a step in the right direction" because I think for these guys to improve and become a quality singer/performer and have sustainability they must work under the wings of a seasoned music director. Debo has had some of that experience but Rex and Quazi do not. In this regard, Vinit, Abhijit and Himani are doing it the right way. They are working closely with Himesh.

In a way Cricfan is right too.

Learning by doing is also a way, but one may make and be prone to more mistakes here. Again, mistakes maketh a man perfect. A self-made man has more sustaining power than a spoon-fed man.

But then again ART is all about GURU-SHISHYA parampara. So, being groomed by a music director may be an option too.

There are plus and minuses in both the models.

ya ticks but qazi does'nt want to be a playback singer and he has made this clear a lot of times. So if he wants to go in the acting business,i think he is doing the right things and i had read somewhere that Rex is getting some classical training so i think they r both going in the rt directions as far as their choices are concerned.
