The lyrics are so beautiful, and the music even more so, as Naushaad saab weaves magic on your senses with his song.

Rajendra Kumar is singing on the last day of his college. During the last year in college he had a glimpse of a beautiful girl, with whom he had once dashed in the college. The beauty of her eyes, which he had glimpsed thru the eye hole in her burkha remained in his mind, but could never get an oppurtunity to talk to her or meet her. By this song, he is calling out to this unknown beauty who stole his heart to come reveal herself to him, that it was their last day of college ad their ways may never meet again and this was indeed their last oppurtunity to meet.
