I think Arpita's attitude stamped from her trained music backround and belief that she was better than the others, that went with it. The other reason could be her lack of success amonst the voting public, inspite of maintaining a consistent level of performances, when compared to the success in this sphere from untrained singers like Qazi and Rex.

Just woke up from my afteroon slumber, hence the late response. I agree, and this is something I have tried to hit on, in my other two replies. In other words, she had a huge Superiority Complex.

She is a better singer and most will agree on that count. You are right on the insecurity and confidence amiss aspect of her character, which again, stamped from her "I am better than you", superiority complex.

i agree and also she used to always say i am not emotional and she was always the first one to sit and cry because someone else became top student.. be it Rooprekha, arijit, rex.. she was also jealous of Qazi's popularity.. she has said it time n again in front of the camera that she feels ppl are getting carried away by Qazi..
