Hi Divya,
My name is Anita and I am writing this e-mail in response to the article which you wrote about Shamit Tyagi in The Urban Indian. To be honest with you, I never liked him. I did agree that he had a good talent but was never his fan. I have to tell you that you have done a great job with this. I am totally taken aback by all your efforts into this. I literally had tears in my eyes after reading a lot of Shamit's responses. I really wish I could express how I feel right now. And now let me tell you that I am proud to be a new Shamit Fan. I feel guilty that I din't understand his true personality before. After all that he has faced in his life and the way he faced everything, I am sure he will stand up to be a great person and will achieve success and fame very soon. If I were him, I would have reached nowhere. I would have probably escaped life and the problems. I appreciate his determination from the bottom of my heart. After what Arijit did to Shamit, I find it absolutely amazing on how he handled everything and is continuing a hearty relationship with him again. I love his tendency of how he cares for people more than himself. Thanks a lot Divya for making me realize the true colors of Shamit. I love Shamit a lot now. It would be great if I can contact him through e-mails. Is there anyway I can e-mail him? I would also be really happy to be friends with a wonderful person like you. You have really touched my heart. A few of my friends who have never watched Fame Gurukul before have become Shamit fans. They asked me if they could hear some of his songs and I made them listen to a few of them. They are oppsessed with his talents and his personality now. Most of my school knows about Shamit now. Again, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Expect a lot of e-mails from my friends as well. Convey my warmest regards to him. He defiantly deserves every bit of attention and love he is receiving.
Love and regards,
Anita
