OK, here is my question:
On New Year's eve Arijit decided to attend a rocking party where Monica, Mona, Ruprekha and Arpita were dancing. However, the entrance required the knowledge of a secret word that had to be given to the doorkeeper, which was being policed by Ilaji and her gang. Arijit decided to wait near the gate and listen to what the others were saying. First Qazi came and walked to the door. Ilaji said "Twelve". Qazi replied "Six" and was allowed to enter. A little later Shamit came. This time Prashant Sir said "Six" and Shamit replied "Three". He was also allowed to enter. Arijit thought that by now, he had all the clues to answer the secret code. He walks up to the entrance with a smile. Padma Mam stops him and says "Ten". Prompt came Arijit's reply "Five". Unfortunately, he was refused entry. So poor Arijit had to spend the night out at the cold while Monica danced inside. What do you think Arijit shouls have replied to gain entry, and why?
