If any newspaper had no FG story, then they were threatened that their wages will be held back starting from the department heads, if any newspaper hadFG news, itwas guaranteed to sell out! Now what will you call this? <?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Contestantsfame were due to the SMS votes by the fans. The fans and the media combined to make theFg contestantsinto stars. The fans witness it with their own eyes and they caused their idols to rise. From the anonymity of the initial rounds to the starry grand final, the FGshowed how the contestants grew and gave the fans a sense of psychological accomplishment. For theFGparticipantsand their fans, this may be their greatest moment of pure beauty in their lives, even if it is so brief. I would call it brief as when the next Fg starts we'll go behind the new set of contestants unless they give some exceptional music.
But with all the good the bad & the ugly I would say that FG was a glorious success. It created new lifestyles for young people, it created new game rules for entertainment, and it created a common dream in an era of diverse interests to attract people from all ages and sectors and give people hope and goals. It let dreams become reality and it let the unthinkable become the obvious.
