A bit here and there. I live in Colaba and we do have some Marathi folks around here, so its pretty easy to grasp what Pandu writes. I guess his Marathi is not the pure kind but with a mixture of Hindi words as well and that makes the humor in his posts, all the more funny😃.

in colaba, there is also good number of Kolis staying and there marathi is very refined hence the difference between pandu's marathi.

You're right Supriya, The correct Marathi as spoken I guess, you will find with the Koli fisher women or men. Over years I have got to understand reasonable amount of the language and its thanks to these original inhabitants of Mumbai.

i agree with you, even i not a maharastrian, but i have learnt this from these locals
