It was during my college days. I was going to meet my girl friend in British Council library. It was office time, and the buses were crowded. I could not then afford a taxi. So I took a bus - I was hanging on the footboard. Suddenly around Park Street crossing, another bus started overtaking from the wrong side. I was sandwitched in between. Lost my balance and fell between the two vehicles. I don't know how I escaped being run over. The next thing I remember was being in the hospital with a cracked hip bone.
