Felt ashamed of FG contestants....

guys no offense but yday when i watched SAREGAMAPA, i was shocked.

SAREGAMAPA was always supposed to be of talent and singers and standing and no performance but yesterday , they took it out. Yes, i ugess in a mall in open air and the way everyone peformed....Danced and sang was awesome. FG Was just between four walls , always sets, that small stage and people everywhere were gaga over some couple of guys making wierd facical expressions but when i saw the SAREGAMAPA , each and everyone of them were awesome. It would be a shame on me to compare the voice quality of both shows,SAREGAMAPA has lot lot better singers than anyshow in television today, and the waythey danced and performed was - in one word awesome. Incase you guys dont want to agree, before yelling or taking it out on me, i suggest u watch the show re-run atleast and u wll know the difference.

This is probably the wrong place but i felt sad with the quality of talent sony choose. It is not even close to 40% of the talent pool in Zee. No wonder some of them couldnot even make it in to the initial rounds of Zee. i have my doubts now in watching Indian idol-2.

well i agree to this one but i do not agree with srgmp's decision to go into all this performance etc... as they say their's is basically a singing contest. just to compete with fame gurukul they have changed the format with the mentors etc and then these mentors training the kids and fighting with each other and judges for their contestants.... why bring the drama in there if it is a talent show.... 😕 😕 😕 .. and also they show on saturday's the uncensored version with some extended coverage of the contestant's life outside the studio/set etc.... whats the need for all this? 😕 😕 😕

thanks aditi to share ur thoughts on singing n performance show... same i also felt when i started watching sa re ga ma with their performances... especially joyeeta..

....rajeev is also not a trained singer.. n he is better than fg contestants too...

very true but still they didn't have to go for this kind of format - and my guess is that they just wanted to add spice to their show. the singing talent is definitely there, but why stoop to that level for cheap competetion. even without seeing that show i knew it was having a better level of singers than fame gurukul, but when i saw what was going on there - jatin lalit were telling khayyam and kumar sanu that their judgement was wrong, the mentors were fighting over one contestant if he had a throat problem or not as his song was excellent that day, another mentor saying one of the contestants that her singing style was like a nachnewaali ( do not know the context and tone of that comment), all this was not needed on a talent oriented show.

and not to forget tears-gallore on that show... people saying ye mera bhai hain woh mera dost hain and all that emotional stuff.... and then in the end the voting thing...

if ur basing it on pure singing abilities, then i do agree that saregamapa has better contestants. but look, now fg is over so there is no point going on about it. the people loved it and now let's just see how the ex-contestants of fg do..

i didn't meant to argue on this if the contestants are better or not in srgmp or fg - just wanted to say that the drama part and format change in srgmp was unwanted for it is like famegurukul extending it to the celeb part to compete with nach baliye. i have already said that the talent pool in srgmp is definitely much better than the fame gurukul (i didn't even had to switch to zee channel to make that opinion), just why this drama.😕😕😕
