Why was Arpita in FG??

Just a thought - that sony doesnot allow top 10 from Indian Idol to participate in Fame Gurukul and the top 14/16 of Fame Gurukul in Indian Idol 2. Why was Arpita allowed in Fame Gurukul as she was a Sa Re Ga Ma Pa winner. What is the reason for people not getting to reappear on sony shows to compete and letting zee show winner show up on sony.

Is it because sony wanted to show that zee winners are no-good (after all FG and SRGMP are the rival shows on rival networks) and thats why arpita's character was portrayed like it was and then made her loose?

OR

Is it because it was different channel and the shows and the winning criteria were different?

OR

Is it because the faculty (prashant) had bias for her from the audition round itself and that is why this issue was ignored then?

And please - leave all the animals in the zoos, international boundaries in maps, caste/religion in social studies books and let people's mothers, sisters, fathers, brothers be at there homes respectively.

I think the different channel thing is the clue.

Since both the FG and Indian Idol are SONY's programs, they can put the rules of not letting the contestants from one program to participate in the other. If they dont let the participants of other channel shows to participate in their programs then I think that will create an open rivalry among the these channels.
Moreover there are many other talent shows and it will be difficult for SONY to keep track of who participated in which show of other channels. For this reason they must have kept it open for all except for the contestants from SONY's own other contests.
