Fame Gurukul is not just a singing competition. Its a total package of singing and performance. They teach singing as well as choreography in FG. They teach stage performance. Its all about FAME not just playback singing.

everyone has really good points on both sides of this issue. Imran918, get a grip, stop insulting people for coming out with any kind of topics on this forum... people arent always gonna agree with you so that doesnt make their opinions stupid. jeez.

well i think a singer should be capable of singing any type of song whether it's vocally intense or not. calling it an easy song or hard song was probably not the best way to describe it. but i would sure as hell like to see qazi sing satrangi re that kirti sang or vande mataram the way arijit did!!

yes it's tru that qazi does have that special something that has gotten him this far but whatever it is i just dont think it's his singing talent. plus during ranbhoomi 2 weeks ago people in the audience had said they only liked qazi and not his singing.. what does that tell you?! 😕

Fame Gurukul jo concept hai is based on the ancient hindu tradition of Sangeet Gurukul. Sangeet ka matlab hai sur aur taal nakin rekna. Har aadmi ake kah sakta hai ki I cannot sing, pls. teach me and one day I hope to be a great singer. This is finals boss, it depends on what end of the learning curve u are on - begining, middle or end. Most contetants barring Qazi have been more towards the end of the learning curve. Uski to abhi nayee nayee shuruat hai.

The title of sangeet gurukul yaani ki sangeet ke masters unhi ko mil sakta hai jo iske layak ho, naki usko jisne abhi abhi sangeet seekhna shuru kiya ho.

i totally agree with manav12... who said fame gurukul is not just about singing? gurukul is associated with only artistic approaches like singing, dancing (like kathak n bharatnatyam etc), etc.
